Thank you very much to the doctors and medical staff of the Republican Hospital! My husband came in with atypical appendicitis, and they provided qualified and competent assistance. I sincerely thank you for your efforts, diligence, professionalism, kindness of heart and great skill. I was resting in Pitsunda when I had an attack of renal colic. I asked for help. The diagnosis was carried out very efficiently, ultrasound was performed. Assistance was provided, competent recommendations were given, thanks to which I did not have to interrupt my vacation and my family and I were able to continue my vacation. The child's ear was blocked after swimming in the sea. They took an X-ray, washed the ear. They prescribed drops and treatments.
Don't be afraid to apply, the hospital is in very decent condition, not shabby. The staff (ENT department and X-ray) are exactly normal 👌

On 07/28.24, they were admitted to the emergency room at 23:00 with an 18-year-old daughter with suspected appendicitis after a rotovirus infection. We are not locals, tourists from Russia, but we did not even ask for documents at first, the doctor immediately examined us! Many thanks to all the doctors! Both those who take it and the surgeons who examine it. They are very friendly, despite the late hour. Absolutely free of charge, they examined in the emergency room, did a blood test from a vein and a urine test. An hour later, the result was ready. We did not expect such an attitude and such promptness!) The next day we came for another checkup, and we did an ultrasound. We paid for the ultrasound, but the prices are reasonable and for the efficiency and such a professional ultrasound is not a pity) Thank you very much once again to all doctors, especially young surgeons for the attentive attitude!!!

Despite not the best conditions (poor doctors are forced to work without air conditioners, because they broke down), the atmosphere, doctors, nurses, nurses and all are all very kind and involved! It's a disgusting hospital. Incompetent doctors. It feels like we got a piece of paper with education in the transition.
Doctors work without a schedule, when they wanted to come, when they wanted to leave.
Disregard for patients.
Complete unsanitary conditions in the wards, bed linen does not change, doctors do not use gloves, or use them repeatedly.
The appointment can be prescribed by the doctor on duty, who, through messengers, corresponds with the doctor (this is the level ...). They don't print X-rays-they say take pictures…
At the same time, no rules for visiting the camera for X-ray removal are observed.
I highly recommend not to visit

In the summer of 2021, I went to the hospital with an injury to my mother's leg. The case was not simple because of mom's specific chronic illness. She had to go to the hospital almost every day for a long time due to complications caused by her illness. I sincerely thank doctors Lakvitav Stanislav Vyacheslavovich and Rubailov Yuri Vyacheslavovich for their professionalism and attention and for the fact that through their joint efforts, we put mom on her feet. I would like to note with what attention S.V.Lakvitava treats his patients, at least what I observed in relation not only to my mother, but also to those who were lying in the ward, causes deep respect. I also thank the nurses of the emergency room of the republican hospital, who have always been kind and attentive.

It so happened that they were hospitalized with urolithiasis. Inside, the hospital requires cosmetic repairs, the equipment needs to be updated. No funding is allocated for food and medicines. The meal was a one-time meal, a piece of bread in the morning. Food and medicines had to be bought at their own expense, tests and procedures had to be paid for separately. But what pleases is the attentive, responsive and professional staff.

What to say... Against the background of the devastation in Abkhazia in general, the hospital is new. Equipment, wards, staff. As in the Russian Federation, not all medicines are available, but there are three pharmacies near the hospital. There are few parking lots. I have not met more sensitive and caring doctors than here. Thanks a lot to the trauma department and, in particular, to Timur Nukzarovich.
