Pleasant atmosphere, everything is clean, beautiful, rich)) We were at the performance, seats on the balcony. Not the whole scene is viewed from the balcony. The acoustics are good, and the actors are also clearly visible. The stage is beautifully framed, the balconies add sophistication. I liked the building itself and the interior. On the downside, it's not clear why the doors were closed at the entrance, we got a little lost because of this (there are a lot of passing organizations in the building), I would like a little more mirrors and places for things / bags, because when everyone goes out, it's very inconvenient to get dressed..

We went to the Gorky Theater performance, it is currently under reconstruction and the production was on the stage of the Palace of Trade Unions. The architecture is impressive, there are many details that I want to consider, and I liked the performance itself. But ... the performance began according to the poster at 19:00, we arrived in 10 minutes and the doors to the auditorium were still closed, imagine a crowd of people standing in the lobby, not to push through. And that's not all, at the end of the performance, the doors of the exit from the palace were also closed! Safety at altitude is simple, there are no words! As for the hall, if I had known earlier that it was not convenient to sit on the tiers from above, I would have taken only the stalls, it was not so convenient for me in any theater. There were two rows on the tier, the first row was ordinary chairs (and then people had to lean on the curb and look out to see something), the second row was ottomans near the wall 😅 hard))) especially when the performance is 2h45min (albeit with one intermission). But now I know which tickets are worth taking and which are not
