A wonderful restaurant, friendly staff, it's hard to call them even waiters, rather hospitable hosts! And what a wonderful khachapuri they cook there!!! You'll lick your fingers! There is a picturesque corner in the courtyard where you can sit at a table in the shade of a shrub, next to a running mountain stream!!! The prices are the same in all cafes, even where the appearance is not presentable at all and the oilcloth is torn in a check on the tables ((( And here, you can get aesthetic pleasure from the delicious cuisine and hospitality of the hosts!!! Inside, 2 walls are covered with banknotes from different countries with wishes of happiness, love and good mood!!!

We ordered eggplant rolls, we did not try anything more bland and not tasty during this vacation, even we managed to spoil the salad (cucumbers were bitter, and since there is a huge portion of salad and it consists of tomatoes and cucumbers, we did not eat half of it, the kebab did not taste like meat was salty and in spices ... it was the last evening before departure and it was not delicious))
And the service leaves much to be desired, we left and the table was littered with food, the waiter did not ask the reason for not eating the food at all, shrugged his shoulders at my remark)))

This is a wonderful place in a gorgeous place! The staff are very friendly and involved in the work.
We took ajapsandal (pictured), veal and lamb kebab, beef stew in spicy tomato sauce (it was medium spicy, comfortable), tea. Everything was very tasty, we haven't eaten such a barbecue for a long time! Thank you for your hard work and dedication! We were very pleased.

The kebab was dry, the wine was the usual young sour.
Salad with tomatoes and cucumbers is ordinary, pita bread is not fresh. The ostri was delicious.
They don't know what service and hospitality are in this restaurant. There was a bias against Russians. They served their own much faster and more friendly.
In the evening it turned sharply colder, there were no blankets.
I give two stars for the beautiful view, nature and delicious spicy food.

The summer terrace was free, the weather was fine, but "they won't serve you on the street today, so you can't take dogs with you." It seems that it's not about dogs at all, but just the service of Russians has been suspended. It so happened that we got to Kazbek late, it was raining, it was already dark. The whole company was hungry. It was our first time in Georgia. We didn't understand at all how and where to get food. We stopped high up, there was no taxi number.
After a short correspondence with the institution and an explanation of the situation, the owner of the institution came for us and saved us from starvation! Fed, watered and taken back! Thank you very much for your hospitality! I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!

Лучшее кафе Степанцминды😭❤️ отдыхали в Грузии, нашла по отзывам этот ресторан и не пожалела: очень вкусная еда, вкуснее шашлыка из свинины я в жизни не ела, вкусная чача, приемлемые цены, доброжелательный персонал! Не везде в Грузии рады туристам, поэтому мы ходили с осторожностью, а здесь приняли как своих, очень приятно 😋 Подача быстрая, красивая территория с шатрами на улице! В теплую погоду можно посидеть на свежем воздухе.

Были два раза в разные дни, все было очень вкусно! Шашлык свиной супер, говяжий кебаб тоже. Хачапури пробовали здесь только «традиционный для Казбеги», интересно, но более классические для Грузии варианты больше нравятся. Цены приятные (после Тбилиси). Очень атмосферно можно посидеть на веранде у протекающего ручейка с видом на горы. Официант, который с нами работал оба раза, очень приятный. Скорость приготовления достаточно хорошая, но мы были при неполной посадке

I do not share the enthusiastic reviews about the institution. The staff is unfriendly and dissatisfied. We never got the change on the bill. Of course, it's not a pity. Pennies.
