The service is long, the food is heated (at least our chicken dish), plus they charge 12% for terrible service (although they said it was a discount, generally 15%, but the staff does not have a single rate, I find out from each other how much to take. At first they fixed it by 10%, then they returned it and they don't know if they need to take it at all either), while the percentage is not taken by all, based on what such a choice is, I didn't understand. The percentage for the service is not listed in the menu. The bill was 67 lari, 8 lari were charged for the service. The confusion is complete due to the large number of people traveling from excursions at the same time.
When you go as a group, take something simple and classic, like khinkali, although you will not be disappointed and it seems to be served without delay and it is unlikely to be warmed up))) The prices are high, but this is understandable, they are divided. It's not so much about money as it is about deception, and even not a tasty dish.
6 khinkali costs 15 lari (2.5 lari per piece) In the city, for a piece from 1 GEL, you can eat in a restaurant, well, 2 GEL.
Of course, I understand that there are not so many places for a snack, but this leaves much to be desired: they do not worry about the interior and amenities, the food is so-so to put it mildly - only the pastries are not bad, but everyone in Georgia is doing this and knows how. We ordered chicken in garlic sauce - I do not advise it, too much garlic, the meat is overcooked, poor and liquid. It's not tasty, it's a pity.
A very beautiful place! It is worth stopping at any cafe, eating and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding nature! Prices are slightly above average, but it's worth it
The prices are average (shish kebab -20 lari; mashed potatoes - 8; olivier - 12; glass of wine - 10).
The shish kebab turned out to be burnt and with bones, the potatoes were over-salted, olivier was also over-salted and seemed to be seasoned with sand - it creaked terribly on the teeth. Wine with a strange taste. The service was not very good, I had to run after the waiters. Drinks are not included in the menu, the assortment and prices must be extracted from the waiters, who pronounce it like a tongue twister under their breath. At some point, they just turned on the music very loudly. The cherry on the cake was +15% to the bill, which came out of nowhere.
2 stars only for the views, so I put 1
I was part of the tour. Prices are more expensive than in the center of Tbilisi, 15 lari for 6 hinkals, who waited for an hour (the service included 7 lari from the account of 43 lari, this is not indicated in the menu. They did not give answers to my cries . I wish you many visits from the tax and sanitary inspection
There is dirt and a toilet from the 90s in the toilet
They brought it with an excursion. Prices are like in the center of Tbilisi. I ordered chakhokhbili - a small portion with only chicken bones for 20 lari. My wife also has a barbecue for 20 - 6 pieces, all with bones (chopped pork rib). A store-bought cutlet was brought to the child. There is no service, but they charge 15% for it. The prices of drinks are not presented on the menu (0.5 liters of beer were announced at 10 lars). In general, the trash is complete. Maybe it's just for tour groups, right? The impression of the tour was ruined, of course. Who is being taken to Kazbegi or Gudauri, do not go there in any case!
Everything is focused on the mountainous terrain and the fact that there is nowhere else to eat.
The price tag is horse, khinkali is just ugly! A good consumption, but the portions are meager. Dry Wine at 10 lari per glass – compote with compote. Another 15% for the service.
Unfortunately, there is nowhere else in the area, so prepare the money)
The rating is not justified.
It's all good. The food is delicious, not the best, but the first impression of Georgia leaves a positive one. You can pay both lari, rubles, and dollars. I advise you to visit.
It was 11.10.2024. The impression is terrible, flies are flying, there are a lot of them. Tourists are brought like sheep to a pen. We ordered a barbecue, one glass of tea, 100g. chachi, stuffed eggplant, kharcho soup. A check of 71 lari + 9 lari was told VAT (although I heard this for the first time, they did not take it anywhere in a cafe in Georgia). The portions are small, the check is greatly overstated, shish kebab is generally a shame for cafes in Georgia: dry, solid fat. In general, I strongly advise against it!
We were in this cafe when we went to Kazbegi, the waiters are unfriendly, to put it mildly, they throw the menu, the service is long. Payment is made at the bar, there is a queue. The khinkali themselves are delicious, homemade, 3 points for it.
One of the worst establishments that we have encountered in Georgia. The appearance is OK, the advantages end there. The tables are sticky. As for the food, it's bad, very bad. Store-bought khinkali, even a hint of good meat / dough - just bags of mash. Prices are higher than good establishments in Tbilisi. 6 store-bought hinkals of 15 lari. In addition, there is also a "service fee" in excess of the check of 15%. If you were brought here on an excursion, think for yourself whether it is worth it. If you're passing through here, go ahead.
I really liked the pork kebab: juicy, with a crispy crust. Maybe there wasn't enough sauce for it, but it's awesome without it. Khinkali 6 pieces for 15 lari, small but very tasty! I am surprised by the negative reviews. After such a delicious meal, I wanted to leave pleasant reviews everywhere.
They bring everyone with an excursion. Payment is only in cash, plus 10-15% of the service receipt (they do not calculate it, they just enter it in the receipt approximately).
We ordered a lamb kebab and chakhokhbili
The kebab turned out to be 60% fat, it is impossible to eat.
Chakhokhbili is just boiled chicken in tomato juice.
Well, tea bags.
For what they paid 10% for the service - it is unclear whether the tables are sticky, whether they are wiped is a mystery.
From a good one, it's a good view.
The rating is too high for such an institution. Cafe for tour groups. They cook for a long time, the prices are high. At the checkout they will say that you still have 15 service%
We went in, but did not order. During those 5 years, we have not been in Georgia for a hundred years, the price tags have increased 5 times. Even in the center of Tbilisi, prices are 2 times lower.
This is Georgia, so you need to try the national cuisine here. We stopped by with friends to eat khinkali and were not mistaken. Everything was super delicious.
There is no service as such, but at the same time they take 9% for tea without asking about it. The food itself is good, but not at the restaurant level, more like a cafe
We were in the morning, it was hot inside and there were a lot of flies, we sat down outside - it was better and there were fewer flies, well, and the rest for lovers, which we did not turn out to be
I absolutely didn't like the food. The meat is stringy, the chicken is dry, the sauce does not add flavor. Khinkali is very spicy, like most dishes here, they don't even warn you about it.
Very cozy cafe, friendly staff, speak Russian, there is no hostile attitude. The cuisine is very tasty , the chefs have a separate madloba 🇬🇪😊

All the previously mentioned reviews about the high and unjustified price tag are true. There is no service from the word at all. The worst place in Kazbegi. I highly recommend it.
We were on an excursion to Stepantsminda, and the guide took us to this restaurant.
We took chkmeruli, grilled vegetables, Greek salad, natakhtari.
Incredibly tasty and soulful! 70lari came out. I highly recommend it
