Definitely one of the best national institutions in Baku. A must-visit. Authentic atmosphere, great service, fast delivery, delicious cuisine, loyal prices, convenient location. The staff speaks Russian. Special thanks to the waiter Ilshat, he was very attentive and kind, advised all the dishes and drinks, told a lot of funny stories and anecdotes. I would like to return to Nargiz many more times to try all their variety of goodies. Thanks!!!

Having visited Baku, having worked up an appetite, we decided to taste local cuisine at the Nargiz restaurant. The place is quiet, cozy, with a fairly wide menu. We ordered from the first courses - dovga and dyushbara . Satisfying , delicious . The highlight of our table was the saj-assorted. High - calorie , satisfying . The prices are reasonable , especially after Moscow. The service is at a high level. Special thanks to the waiter Mirelem .

Recently, my husband and I decided to try the local cuisine and chose one of the most popular restaurants in the city. We expected something special, because the restaurant is famous for its dishes.
The design of the restaurant immediately caught my eye — everything is very stylish and tasteful. But, unfortunately, we did not receive a warm welcome. Despite the large number of waiters, it took a long time to place an order.
The kitchen turned out to be excellent — the dishes were delicious, but without any special frills. But frozen cherries were found in the salad, which slightly spoiled the impression.
The prices in the restaurant are above average.
Overall, the impression is good, but I would like more attention from the staff and more attention to detail. Maybe next time we will choose another place to enjoy the local cuisine in a more pleasant atmosphere.

We really liked this restaurant.We had a rest in Baku and visited it with my husband almost every day .The food is fresh and always very tasty.Cozy atmosphere, beautiful interior.The menu is in Russian.Special thanks to the staff, they are hospitable, polite, and friendly!I recommend you to visit!

We stopped for lunch. Everything is very tasty, we took kharcho, chicken soup, borscht, kutayu with meat and cheese. We ate enough, everyone was satisfied.
It just seemed that the waiters were in a hurry, they were doing everything quickly, although the WAREHOUSE was half empty) well, they understood where they were "rushing"😂
There is a photo area with local costumes at the entrance)
The interior is beautiful and colorful. I advise you to visit.

A good Azerbaijani restaurant serving local cuisine in the city center. They also took a salad of crispy eggplant, a plate of various kebabs, dolma, wine, beer.I liked everything very much. Moreover, the prices are much cheaper than other restaurants, such as Dolma. Polite and fast service., beautiful serving of dishes. I recommend it!

Very tasty! We tried shish kebab and assorted saj dish. The salad with cherries and tomatoes just won me over!!!! The restaurant is very atmospheric and beautiful - carpets, lamps, old photos. It has been working since 1986! The waiters are very attentive and neat.

A very pleasant place... All the staff are friendly people, in beautiful uniforms, cool smiles and charming eyes. The cuisine is excellent, the taste is incredible, everything is delicious, try it, find your dish! The price is reasonable, we can say adequate. The atmosphere is high, antique, carpets, lamps, pillows of all kinds, you can look at it like in a museum. Bon appetit to all!

We visited this restaurant several times .
Pros: The restaurant is in the city center, perfectly stylized, polite and helpful waiters , good wine, local draft beer ( I would recommend), generally not bad food
Cons: all restaurants of such a plan suffer from this in a circle , mushrooms are served in a place of meat , probably half , dry liver , shah pilaf without meat , almost one rice. A frivolous approach , as it was said in one film : " .. Such people ( cooks ) Like you , they are a disgrace to the Republic.."

I don't understand the admiration of the other guests. Kitchen for three. The prices for such an institution are too high.
The service is normal. During the week, 6 restaurants were visited in Baku. This place is the latest in my ranking. I strongly do not recommend it!!!
The cherry on the cake! The waiter accidentally knocked over a glass of red wine on the table. Splatter on our clothes, all three of us.
I apologized several times. However, a glass of wine was included in the bill, and a 10% service fee.
In Russia, this would definitely not be in the bill.
The clothes were ruined, the wine can't be washed.

The kitchen is 3 out of 5.
The sauce in the crispy eggplant salad was too salty, the deep-frying on the eggplants themselves was uneven.
"Dolma 3 sisters" is an interesting dish, but the minced meat inside is more like liver.
Service: the waiter accidentally knocked over a glass of pomegranate wine on the table. Splashes of wine stained the three of us' clothes.
Except for "sorry" 3 times, nothing.
The bill included a 10% service fee and a glass of wine.
In Russia, these positions would definitely not be included in the bill.
The prices are very high for a "restaurant" of this level.
I strongly do not recommend this institution!!!

Very tasty cuisine. They have everything cheap for a tourist area, huge portions. There are always tables, it's nice and cool inside, the decor looks like an old Baku, the waiters are very helpful, everything is fast, you don't wait at all.

I recently had dinner at the Nergiz restaurant on Nizami Street in Baku, and it was a wonderful experience. We decided to try meat dishes, and everything was great! The dishes were perfectly cooked, with rich taste and beautiful serving. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting, which added to the pleasant impressions of the dinner. The service was attentive and we didn't have to worry about anything. If you are in Baku and looking for a place with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere, the Nergiz restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We ordered:
fish soup from sturgeon - there was almost no fish, the broth was not saturated, only water;
pilaf is separately cooked rice with meat added to it, it was definitely not pilaf.
The room is basement, as if you are sitting in a cave, even the Internet does not work.

A scene from the movie Amphibian Man was filmed here.
The portions are large, I had to take half of them with me to the hotel.
We ordered pilaf Nargiz, eggplant salad, dolma, gyurza, various snacks. Everything is very tasty.
The prices are average, we thought it would be much more expensive.
For example, pilaf is 15 manats. It's not expensive for such a portion and taste.
I definitely recommend it!
