It was quite clean, cozy and tidy in the room. We stayed in January and it was warm (underfloor heating). The reception is open around the clock. The hotel is located in the old district of the city with narrow authentic streets, which gave a special flavor to our walks.
The only thing that upset me was the sound insulation: NONE at ALL. We didn't get a good night's sleep because of the constant voices, conversations in the courtyard, and the rumble of other guests' suitcases leaving in the middle of the night. That's what I'm shooting the star for.
Great hotel! Clean, comfortable. The breakfast is delicious in a nice oriental-style cellar. The staff is at the highest level. The price for the hotel is not expensive. We lived three times for several days, everything was fine!!!!!!
The hotel is known as El'EMIR Registan, and there are old plaques with this name on the way to it. And on one Russian booking it is called Registan Elemir.
I'll add some photos of the surroundings.
Positive:
- Beautifully decorated outdoor courtyard with a small pool in the center
- Helpful and courteous staff. We arrived ahead of check-in time, but since our room was free, we were checked in early without extra charge, and we did not have to walk in the heat with suitcases, waiting for the allotted time
- 15 minutes on foot to Registan Square
- An outlet near each bed
- There is a set of amenities expected from this class of hotels
Cons (about the specific room in which I happened to stay):
- There are no hooks for towels or clothes in the room for four people. There is only one ring-shaped hanger in the bathroom. As a result, towels dry where you put them
- There is no mat in the bathroom
- On the first day, the water in the shower suddenly disappeared right during washing. The problem was quickly fixed by the staff
- The sink is so small, and the tap water is so strong that it splashes out of the sink. You'll splatter your clothes more than once until you get used to opening the faucet at low power
- The water in the toilet tank takes a very long time to collect
- The trash can in the toilet is very small and flimsy, with an uncomfortable lid
- The mirror above the sink is either too small or too low - you have to squat or bend down to see yourself
Not for visiting in winter, there is no heating, only electricity, air conditioning and a heater, I booked in the booking but canceled, also everything drips into the courtyard where ice forms later, it is very cold, the rooms are small
Everything was great, the only downside is the slightly stiff mattress. Maybe a little naughty Wi-Fi. The location is quite good, not far from the sights.
I liked the hotel. In the center of Samarkand within walking distance from famous attractions. The hotel itself is quiet and cozy. The rooms are clean. The ratio of price and quality. I recommend.
Very convenient location of the hotel, within walking distance of all historical monuments. The hotel is clean, good plumbing. The owner treated us carefully, suggested where it was better to go. I recommend the hotel!!
It is also the El Emir Hotel. The TV does not work, the water does not go out in the bathroom. The pool is in the courtyard, but the water is muddy, you should not try to refresh yourself there. They tried to leave without breakfast, which was included in the price. I had to prove that breakfast was paid for.
A good hostel. Close to the sights – especially the main Registan Square, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Siab market. The staff is polite, we stayed for three days. There was a bathroom in the room, air conditioning. There was a small swimming pool in the courtyard, it cools down very cool after the heat. The only drawback is that the Wi–Fi does not reach the room, only in the courtyard.
In general, not very much like the whole of Samarkand. Terrible sevis

The creakiest beds in the world!!! The drain in the shower does not work, after you wash, water flows from under the shower. There is no sound insulation, every rustle can be heard in the rooms. The dining room is in the basement. The administrator does not respond to requests to fix it. Close to all the attractions.Nearby, about 8-10 minutes on foot, there is a restaurant with the most delicious and inexpensive cuisine, Restaurant Stari Grad (on maps MAPS.ME )
There is no naming, no clear driving directions either, they could not get registration for two days, they barely got the remote control from the TV on the second day. Something like that....
excellent hams clean tidy places to rest places not far from the city there are good services

A three-star hotel. Not comfortable beds. It's not very clean. The staff is not very friendly. Interesting layout. The child liked to run up the stairs
