We arrived at the hotel without a reservation. We paid for the room on the spot in cash.
Nice place, nice room. But the plumbing is already too old.
There is a mosque very close to the hotel, so at exactly 5 a.m. you will have to wake up if you want to, the azan is very loud.
Breakfast was included, but we were on it only on the first day, we didn't go anymore.
It's not tasty. And the coffee is worse than there, I haven't tried it anywhere. That's the only thing I didn't like at all. My husband went to buy falafel, a tent next to the hotel, juice. We had our own coffee and an electric coffee maker is always with me on a trip, it came in handy here. We had breakfast like that, it was delicious for us.
The location was great, we walked to the embankment, temples, and museum, we did not use transport, there was no need.
Everything necessary was available. the location of the hotel is excellent, we walked almost everywhere. There is a cafe on site and they really cooked delicious food there. The owner of the hotel personally monitors everything and it is felt. The repair in the room was good, the plumbing was in good working order. The mattresses are comfortable, thanks a lot for that!!! There is an elevator, a swimming pool, Wi-Fi on site. They also helped us buy air tickets to Cairo (they paid for us with a card, and we paid in cash, thanks a lot for that too).
The only thing that upset us was that after ordering a taxi to the airport from the manager at the reception, we ended up with a very high price (5 times exactly higher), and only realized this later. We got so into the staff that we didn't think they could screw up so much. Hurtful.
By a stretch, 3 stars. For 1-2 nights it is normal. The room is very tired. The hotel has been waiting for renovation for 20 years already. Standard Egypt breakfasts)
