Positive:
A new hotel. Nice interior. Beautiful view of the sea and the sunset. The spa area is good. There is everything for children's entertainment: a water park, attractions, a children's club and animation.
Minuses:
Disgusting food and restaurant. Absolutely not the Rixos level. Monotonous, solid roast meat and mackerel. Fatty mayonnaise salads. Soups made from a maggi cube and ready-made mixtures. I came across raw meat in mantas and samsa. The dishes are decorated with fish tails, and the pilaf with eggs. By the third day, I was sick of going to this dining room. Sticky tables, dirty dishes. It is almost impossible to get drinks from the waiters, visitors prefer to serve themselves on their own so as not to wait indefinitely. At the same time, it is worth leaving a child at the table with the food that has just been brought - they will take away all the full plates right from under his nose! I've seen this situation several times and it was with our table too.
But the most unpleasant impression is the noise level! There is a bar in the courtyard of the U-shaped hotel, where live music is played daily in the evenings from 21:00 to 23:30 (sometimes 00:00). Bass and sound at maximum! It is impossible to fall asleep even completely with the window closed. And after 23:30 the noise continues, the disco on the beach begins! It's a little quieter now, but only with the window closed. You have to sleep with an air conditioner, which is not pleasant and not useful. Who is this endless rave for?! If the contingent of the hotel is full of families with young children?! The sensations are like a sophisticated torture by incessant noise both day and night. Yes, music is on site in the afternoon in the morning.
The staff is mostly indifferent to the problems of the residents. From the very first day, I notified the reception every day that our refrigerator was not working. It's been 10 days, and it still doesn't work. For all the time, the master came once and never fixed it.

A very decent hotel. Taking into account the sharply increased price to Turkey, we found a suitable option and did not lose. The hotel is very clean, the way the workers try and clean everything is impressive, not every rixos is as clean as here. Wonderful warm pools, the Infinity pool is just amazing - we didn't want to climb out. The sea is quite decent, clean, the bottom is transparent-sand, small shells. A little silt. It is very warm (many people write that it is cold, maybe we are lucky or who write that it is cold, they do not climb out of the Maldives :)), but small, although it is a plus for us with children on the contrary. Beautiful sunsets. The weather at the end of June is beautiful, it's hot in the afternoon, but it's not criminal and comfortable, there's a breeze in the evenings, you need a jumper. It gets dark late, sunset at 21.00 and this is a rarity for resorts. A wonderful water park for all ages and an amusement park. The spa is normal, everything is there, a good masseuse Olga, strong hands-who needs not just stroking, but a good massage, sign up for her. The food in the restaurant is without frills, a lot of chicken, few meat dishes, but there are themed evenings (we tried camel milk for the first time at the evening of Kazakh cuisine). There are also alyakart restaurants, there were in the meat. The atmosphere was pleasant, there was live music, we admired the sunset on the veranda. The hotel has good bars and a good selection of imported alcoholic beverages (12 year old whiskey, aperol...), various shows and parties in the evenings, I liked the beach party. A great rixy club, a lot of activities for children - we didn't have time to get to everything. There are many different sports activities. I also want to mention the manager of guest relay-Nursaul. Remotely helped to solve all issues. We will be happy to come back again.

A good hotel, I liked everything, except for one unacceptable disadvantage. The main advantage is the relaxation pool 16 plus in age, you can lie down in a calm environment. Good spa, good food, although the timing of dinner is not particularly clear to me, finishing dinner at 21:00 is not right in my opinion. There are many advantages, they are all described in any guide to this hotel, I will not list them, I'd rather write about the main disadvantage, because of which I categorically do not recommend visiting this hotel- instead of the declared alcohol, they pour a fig knows what, or the position that is stated, but diluted with water. On the lobby bar, this can somehow be solved by arranging a showdown, but on the beach they pour some kind of brew bottled with elite alcohol, in all bottles with dispensers such as absolute, Jack Daniels, or chivas, this very plastic dispenser is torn out with pliers, so that it would be convenient to pour anything there except what is stated. Cocktails are generally water, 5 degrees. For the first time in my life I come across this, in the beginning I thought it was bartenders, but then it became clear that this was the position of managers. We weren't the only ones who noticed this, I heard a lot of fights at the bar about alcoholic beverages. If you do not pull the declared alcoholic beverages, please remove the fifth star from the rating and change the alcohol, but it is not allowed to dilute it. And so in general, except for this nuance, there are no questions to the hotel, everything is fresh, the staff is polite, there is an aquapark and a lunapark. For people who don't drink on vacation at all, it's a great option. The alcohol situation is relevant at the end of May 2024.

The hotel is above all praise. It is located 20 km from Aktau's throat. It includes a living room complex +a water park+an amusement park! Upon arrival, you can get a fast track bracelet for quick access to the slides, but not the water park. And one visit to the restaurant. There is a children's club Rixy, where tutors are engaged with children, who will feed them, take them for a swim and will not let the children go without their parents! The food is varied, in the evening you can have dinner with wine, and during the day you can use the bars near the sea and pools. Make no mistake about the sea - it's not the Mediterranean or the Black Sea. People mostly relax around the main saltwater pool.

The hotel is great, we had a family vacation with children, it's just a paradise for children, a park with attractions and a water park is just super for all ages. The food is very good, healthy and delicious. The staff is working perfectly, everything is rustling, washing, cleaning, everywhere is clean and beautiful. Good animation for children, I haven't seen it for adults, but there is a schedule for what and where it takes place. The sea can be different and clear as a tear and cloudy with algae and warm and cold, it all depends on the current. We were not very lucky with the weather, the wind was cold, and rain is very rare in Kazakhstan, even leaving the heated pool is very cold. We went to the closed one a couple of times. Children under 12 years old are not allowed in the sauna.

A wonderful hotel, we are currently relaxing in it.. It is more focused on families with children, everything is provided for children. I would especially like to note the work of lifeguards at the pools, they really look after the children. The food is decent, you will always find food to your taste. The staff is friendly and helpful. A magnificent water park, an excellent amusement park, a swimming pool with waves. I liked the steak house, excellent rib eye. Of the minuses, the lack of pickles and smoked fish for breakfast is purely for me (due to kidney problems, salty food can sometimes be eaten only for breakfast). We will definitely come back here.

Excellent infrastructure. There is a cool water park and an amusement park nearby. A magnificent pool, just huge. Nice beach.
The animation is on top. The children were not bored for a moment. The club, contests, crafts, tennis lessons, and a bunch of other things.
The staff is mostly polite and helpful.
The only thing that doesn't match the Rixos level is the food. She is quite normal, at the level of a strong average Turkish five, but not at the level of a VIP hotel. Perhaps because I had only been to Rixos premium before, and expectations were too high.
We went for 200 thousand rubles for a week with five people (three children). I definitely recommend it for this money!

We are pleasantly surprised by the hotel.
We came here purposefully instead of Turkey (the price tag is biting this year), and we did not regret it.
Comfort, service, room quality - all at the level of a good pharmacy in Turkey.
Yes, there is still something to work on, but in terms of price/quality ratio, we did not regret it.
Very decent restaurants in Ala Kard, we liked everything.
We came here with two children. The water park is great, there is no such thing in Samara 😂
Great volleyball! Teams are always gathering.
We were pleasantly surprised to see Vladimir Bystrov and the football academy.
Our eldest son is engaged in the Wings of the Soviets and he really enjoyed the training.

We were in August 2023. The hotel is lovely, the pools are good. I especially liked the Infinity with salt water. Despite the fact that most vacationers tried to swim there and sunbathe at his place, it was always possible to find a sunbed and the pool itself is large enough so that people do not interfere with each other. But with the tables in the balo restaurant, not everything is so rosy. We often had to look for a free table, although we rested together with our spouse. The food is average. Very tasty pastries, but meat and fish are not enough for an amateur. In the middle of the vacation, we were severely poisoned, we think about the seafood that we ate for dinner. However, the paramedic at the hotel did not consider it poisoning, said that it was because we do not know how to combine products. I have not heard of such unsuccessful combinations to vomit from them for a day... however, the sorbent was also issued by the region, in principle this is enough. It's a long way from the city. It takes about 40 minutes to drive, so we haven't been anywhere except the hotel itself. The hotel has a water park and an amusement park. Unfortunately, during the week (9 nights) of their stay, the famous blue slide in the amusement park, which is the most basic in all their commercials, worked for only one day and then not all. They never got there. The rest of the rides are average. But perhaps the residents of St. Petersburg just raised the bar:)
There are not so many slides in the water park, not all work (although it is also not clear, the workers of the slides control several at once and do not let the bulk, but teenagers approached me, apparently local, talked to the workers and they were allowed to, allegedly, non-working slides). I really liked the river. It's nice to ride a lap on it in the sun. I recommend it to everyone.
The hotel has daily children's animation, a large children's center, in principle, everything has been done for children (in my opinion), at some time it seemed that there were more children in the hotel than adults (large families come), so I would advise for a holiday with children. There is a swimming pool for adults where children are not allowed, it is very quiet and peaceful there, but the water in it is heated, which is a little unpleasant in the heat. But when it's cooler, it's great.
In principle, we were satisfied with the rest, there were not pleasant moments, but they are everywhere. I recommend the hotel

The constant queues at the bar are out of season, as there are not enough people. There is always something missing, then water, then beer
Children are not allowed in the only sufficiently warm pool on the street, I understand this approach when it is warm outside, but in the cold the solution is questionable.
The food is just terrible, not only is there no choice, but also not of high quality, cabbage in all its forms and chicken backs are waiting for you. There's not a lot of entertainment either.
At this price, it is better to choose Turkey, who can.

Minus the kitchen. If you compare it with other hotels in the chain, then this is a wild horror. Compared to hotels, the level is lower than the norm. You will not see any delights in short, the choice of dishes is very limited. The bias for meat, seafood will not be seen here. And to be honest, I cook meat better at home. It's about the chefs, the Chef urgently needs to be changed!!!! There is no live music in the lobby, but the atmosphere is pleasant. The rooms are a little shabby, and there are already dozens outside the hotel, despite the fact that it is only 3 years old. Hookahs are normal. It is not expensive for Rixos, as everywhere else, about $ 40. The show program is standard, they sing well. But you won't see stars and dance shows like in Turkey. In general, you will find something to do in the evening. The SPA is not even bad, it works until 23:00, the gym is excellent and there are yoga classes for children and adults. Saps are free. The rooms are standard, not bad. In general, the hotel is for 4, as for me, there is something to work on.
P. S. For the first time, we did not make a compliment from the hotel in the form of a sea view from the room, although we are regular customers of the Rixos network.
There is no sports bar, and football is very rarely shown in the lobby.

A good hotel for its price, you can go once while everything is new. There is no super fun, but there is enough water park and attractions for a week, there is nowhere to go yourself, you can take a taxi to Aktau once. There is no super delicious food in the main restaurant, but there is enough variety for a week with the Ala-kart restaurant, although everything is fatty - even rice, on the third day I already went on a diet (porridge, soups, creon). The ice cream is bad, the desserts on average are also so-so - always protein cream. The alcohol is good, the bars and bartenders are nice. There is bottled water everywhere and always. The rooms are good, cleaning is daily, linen is provided every 3-4 days, but towels have to be begged for the whole family; a bathrobe, slippers and a hairdryer have not been brought. Russians and Kazakhs mostly rest, a few Turks and even fewer others. Everyone speaks Russian and Kazakh (which is very similar to Tatar). There were unpleasant incidents on national grounds, once even the guards intervened between the women in the children's room. I hope it's from a lot of love.

The hotel itself is modern, beautiful, but not well maintained everywhere (battered furniture with chips, blockages in the sewer, poor ventilation in the bathrooms, "walking" tiles on the floor in the rooms). For food, a uniform set with small choices, about like in January-February in Turkey, changes if only for a holiday or a local arrival. Citizens of Kazakhstan can come by on Friday and Saturday with families (from grandparents to the youngest family members), on a "weekend tour", I must say right away that they behave like wild, there is an unpleasant smell in public places, garbage, if Russians are not given soda in a jar and are not allowed into the main restaurant with a cocktail - this rule does not apply to Kazakhs, they can do anything. If you expect to swim like us and the sea is not worth it, the bottom is muddy, knee-deep, the only more or less descent from the pier. The adult pool is heated, the main thing is that there are no children ... it turns out that not everyone can read the rules, whether Kazakhs or Russians. On September 30, the summer season was closed - the large swimming pool, which is the hallmark of the hotel, was turned off, it became unheated, and the beach bar was closed. Plus the cleaning of the pools, the sunbeds are washed every day, the pool is cleaned. In the reviews I saw a description of how to make a pool with sea water, I did not believe it, as it turned out - in vain, really every day, after closing (and the pool closes at 18.00) a guy climbs into the water and throws salt. What else surprised me. If you want to get-hand over towels, keep track of the time, sweep the issue of one throughout the territory, and employees do not just honor labor legislation, but re-perform - arrival at 17.45 it is not a fact that someone will take a towel from you, the employee has already gone home. When we stopped at the hotel, the hotel staff warned that the bathrobe should be worn only in the room, but as it turned out, this does not apply to locals, who even walk around the hotel, near the pools, not only in bathrobes, but also in slippers from the room. I was struck by the presence of unpleasant odors in the spa, which was unexpected, given the stated 5 stars. The wave pool is open only from 12 to 18 o'clock, while locals who came to the amusement park also enter the territory, while the waves are not constant, they are turned on once an hour and only for 20 minutes. The pool itself is not heated. Restaurants on site are difficult to sign up, as they are visited by locals, although when they arrived there were a lot of empty tables. Well, the cherry on the cake. When we read the reviews, having already arrived at the hotel, we saw that at 12.00 they were evicted, cut off the bracelets, forbidding the use of the hotel's infrastructure, we did not believe it, but as it turned out, if you want to stay, pay, 4 hours 40 thousand local currency, 6 hours - 60 thousand, 8 - 80 thousand. If there is no local currency, they will change it at the most unfavorable rate, not like at the airport or in the city. If, like us, there is a flight delay, there is a way out, having given the number, they can cut off the main bracelet for you, but give you a white bracelet that is valid until 18.00, you can safely have lunch and use the hotel bar, although without a room. Will I go to this hotel again - definitely not, will I advise someone - no, the only thing I will advise is to take a tour from Sunday to Friday, so as not to get at the same time with the locals.
