Overall, the hotel is good, but there are disadvantages.
The food is not of the Rixos level! As I understand it, the dishes are more designed for local guests, national, a lot of salt and seasonings. But on the 3rd day we found something that we more or less liked (delicious pastries, normal soups, desserts). Jars are brought for children on request, but as one might guess it is not clear. I asked the manager on the first day to cook my son a dairy-free gluten-free porridge for breakfast, they did nothing the next day. Only after a conversation with the manager of the restaurant, the request was fulfilled.
The junior staff at the restaurant is not the most welcoming.
It was May 1-7, the weather was bad. The water park was not working, the rides were not all working and no one could tell when everything would work. Outside, the large pool was cold (although it was promised to be heated). The small pool was with hot water, but it is 16+, it is not allowed with children.
In the spa, the large pool is cool, you need to make it warmer for children, the tiny one for kids did not work all the time. It is not allowed to go to saunas and hamams with children!
Children's club is accepted only from the age of 4.
We came with 2 children, the youngest is 3 years old. And we didn't know what to do with them there, if 1.5 carousels are working in the park, the water slides are turned off, the pools are cold, you can't go to the sauna and you can't leave in the club. At the same time, the cost was 234t for 6 nights.
On the plus side: if the weather is warm and everything works, I can assume that it's great there. Beautiful, well-groomed, clean. The outdoor pool looks attractive (not used). The park is cool, but we took advantage of 20%.
The senior staff - all the managers are very friendly, I also liked the waiters at the hotel bar.

Yes, the level of the hotel claims to be 5*.
There are many advantages. For beverage lovers, these are original drinks for almost every taste: chivas 12, maccalan 12, Martel vs, Hennessy vs, Martini asti. But there is no brutus... Not in any bar at all.
Pools... They are heated, the water is very warm. The adult pool needs to be repaired, the tiles fall off and in places you can step on the fragments. There are no special complaints about the rest of the pools, except that they are of the type from 10, therefore, already at 9:30 in the "adult" pool there may be crowds of frolicking and diving children.
The Infinity pool becomes completely full at 10:30... At the end of August, maybe because the water is not as warm as in the pools - there are not many people on the beach. Although the water is great for me.
Restaurant. It's difficult here. If you come to breakfast early in the morning, everything is fine... But lunch and dinner become rush hour... Not only is it sometimes a problem to find a clean table, but it is also a problem to wait for the waiter to order drinks.. and then wait for 15 minutes when they are brought. It's easier to stand in line at the bar and get drinks.
The food itself is quite good, there is enough choice, but sometimes you have to wait for what is over to be brought.
Room cleaning... My opinion is bad... Or so we were unlucky. They are cleaned very late (in our case, almost always after 16) and very poorly... Other people's hair on the hallway floor in our room had not been cleaned for a week, several times we did not leave towels and had to wait for them to be brought after the reception call.
Otherwise, it is a great alternative to Turkey. The sun, the sea, the beach, the pool and the amusement park (although not as big as Port Aventura, but not 2 slides as in some hotels in Turkey)
With small children, it's generally great here, a shallow warm pool and not a deep sea.
And for adults without children, there is a relaxation pool where you can spend the day in peace and quiet.

A wonderful country! The wonderful city of Aktau! Incredibly responsive and friendly people! We took a taxi, called from the hotel (you can take the bus, but it runs according to schedule). The hotel is lovely. We ordered the transfer in advance, because we were flown by 5 people, 2 adults and 3 children (9L,5L and 10months). The transfer was waiting for us upon arrival, the driver met us. I drove fast, but carefully))) We arrived around 11 o'clock, and they check in from 14 o'clock, but with small children it is inconvenient. This is probably the only disadvantage. But we were immediately put on bracelets and we could move around the hotel. All-inclusive meals and imported alcohol included. There is one large heated swimming pool with sea water on site. There is a Jacuzzi pool, but there is an age limit of 16+ like. There is a water park with 2 kid zones, 1 teenage and 1 with huge slides, children can also go with their parents, dive into a shallow pool (about 120-140 cm deep, convenient if a person does not know how to swim). There is also a heated swimming pool in the water park and the waves are turned on by time.There are attractions. Not only hotel guests, but also residents of the city come to the water park and attractions, but there is no crowd. Rescuers are on duty every 5-10 meters, whistling non-stop (that is, they are vigilant)))) The rooms are stylish, the cleaning is timely. The kid was provided with a playpen bed, although he had to ask the administrator 5 times. There are a lot of bars on the territory. The food is varied, if you have been to Turkey, it is no different. The sea is cooler than the Mediterranean and Black and not calm, but we were comfortable. The beach is sandy, there are a lot of shells, but we didn't come across any sharp ones, the children were happy to be punished in the sand.After leaving, my daughter forgot a teddy bear, without which she cannot sleep. They called the hotel and asked to send it (for a fee), it was about 5 days ago, they said they would send it, but for now it's quiet. For couples without children, there is a separate swimming pool, where entry is prohibited until 18, so as not to make noise. The food is very diverse for every taste. Evening shows every day. The hotel does not reach 5 stars. Among the advantages are swimming pools, attractions. The sea is shallow, but we were lucky to be warm (we entered on August 06, departure on August 13). The food is quite varied, but on the second day of my stay, I got poisoned. I called a doctor, who could not be found, although I was told that the medical center was on the 1st floor. Today, on August 11, the electricity was turned off for 3 hours, there were no clear answers when it was turned on from the reception.

We had a rest in this wonderful hotel from 06/26 to 07/29/12. We are very happy with our rest! Of course, there is no sea, nothing more interesting than our Gulf of Finland, but the hotel itself and the staff simply charmed us! The Infinity pool is the main jewel of the hotel! The purest sea water at a comfortable temperature! But in general, we were constantly at the Relaxation Pool, where children are not allowed. Our kids constantly went to the rixy kids and they really liked it there, and we quietly enjoyed a measured rest by the adult pool. Our room was not large, one-room and we planned to change it to a more spacious two-room, but in the end we comfortably accommodated four people in the original one. The food is very tasty and varied. I didn't get tired of it in two weeks. Lots of vegetables, meat, seafood and excellent desserts (baklava will be in my dreams for a long time). The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great SPA. There are all kinds of entertainment on the beach (we rode a jet ski, boots, played volleyball). The fitness area is just super with great trainers. There are two a la carte restaurants, which are not bad. It is better to make an appointment with them immediately on the day of arrival, the reservation is quite tight. There is no interesting excursion around the hotel, but we liked the city of Aktau itself, such a flashback in the USSR)) The city is clean, full of very pleasant and helpful people. You can change rubles without problems, the normal exchange rate in Aktau shopping mall in a bank near KFC (a reduced rate will be indicated on the scoreboard, but the bank's employees offer you a very good one).

Nice big new hotel. The rooms are quite spacious. My family of two adults and two children comfortably cleaned the standard room. In addition to the large bed, there are two wide sofas in the room, where not only a child but also an adult can comfortably fit. For stays of more than 7 nights, you will be upgraded to a room with a garden view and a sea view. If there are rooms available. We were given a room with a sea view, there was such an opportunity. Food: the quality of the food is good, but rather monotonous, compared to the other five in Cyprus and the UAE. There is always chicken, beef, turkey, fish. Soups, salads. Lovers of strong drinks will like it here: Chivas and McCallin 12 year olds, Martel. The quality of alcoholic beverages is excellent. But juices are nectars, the maximum was apple "juice" with a juice content of 50%. Elite alcohol and such "juices" are not clear. Although the hotel is family-run, there are many children. And there's a big kids' club for them here. However, they can sit with children under 3 years old, but only until 12:00 and for an additional fee (2000 tenge per hour). Older children can be left there unaccompanied by an adult. A HUGE plus: free and free access to the nearby park and water park. Water slides, rides, Ferris wheel - everything is free, there are few visitors, so you don't have to wait in line for the attraction. The sea is clear, but slightly cool (June). Fortunately, the pool has the same seawater and heated. Another huge plus: the hotel manager is always in sight, will help solve a difficult problem, if it arises at all. I gave it 4 stars for the following reasons:
1. Monotonous food
2. Long-term waiter service (to order drinks, either you go to the counter yourself, or you order through a waiter who has to be caught, and sometimes they completely forget about the order they made. But they are working in this direction, and the head periodically inserts pistons. The result is visible: they are getting faster). There are few waiters when the restaurant is fully loaded: waiters bring orders, they also clean and prepare tables. There are clearly not enough hands for everything.
3. This hotel accepts children's camps. On certain days, there are a lot of kids in the pool, just a huge bunch. There are none in the restaurant, but they occupy 20% of the pool, so you have to go to the opposite edge of the pool. But you can find places!!!
4. The hotel is positioned as a non-smoker, but this is not the case. They should have designated smoking areas.
Bottom line: there are a lot more pros than cons. A good analogue to Turkish hotels. I recommend the hotel to visit!
