A good salon. I've been bringing my cats here for 5-6 years now. There have never been any episodes (there have been cuts and scratches in other salons before). Animals are always calm after the procedures, so everything goes for them without stress.
Well, our Lady York is as pleased as possible and so are we. The dog has a haircut not by breed, but by convenience and it is performed taking into account all wishes 100 %
To the owners of the corgi - pay attention!
I brought my corgi Pembroke to Rock Dog for grooming (express molting). What they wanted: a combed, non-cleaning dog. What we got: without asking or specifying, we cut off the hair on the chest / abdomen!!!!! - in fact, they removed the "skirt" (they cut it very crookedly, it is immediately noticeable that they did not try to use a typewriter at all, they just walked back and forth, straight curved stripes remained) + poorly combed the wool in other places. That is, the wool continues to come out in clumps, the dog drops it on the move for the third day after the procedure. And Yes, I know perfectly well that after grooming, a little wool still climbs for a few days, but I also know for sure that it no longer climbs so much and does not fall off the dog in clumps - I have a lot of experience, I know how good it is, here it was done very badly. Such clumps with professional combing come out the very first, they can not remain. The procedure took less than 1.5 hours, after 1 hour 10 minutes they called "it will be ready soon, come pick it up" - although usually, in my experience, at the peak of molting, it takes a full 2 hours for our fluffy large dog. In short, they did not try at all, but wanted to make it faster for a tick. Perhaps that's why the wool was cut off - the skirt of the corgi after a good grooming and so "rises", becomes less fluffy and long, and causes less trouble because of dirt on walks. Cutting is not required at all.
In short, the belly was cut, tk "misunderstood". They didn't think to call back to clarify. The money for such a giant joint was returned only after calling the management (or was it the hostess, I did not understand). At first, the girl at the reception offered a discount on the trail to the claim.Once, "we do not return the money, I cannot call the management."
Well, looking at a homeless dog😅, I perceive the return of 13 thousand tenge as "so-so consolation".
Yes, and a couple of strange facts caught my eye. For the first time I saw dogs in a grooming salon waiting for their owners in a CAGE after a haircut - a couple of small dogs were whining sitting in a cage while I was dealing with mine. Maybe that's how the owners asked, I don't know, but it looked very strange to me. And I regret that I didn't think to ask if they kept mine in a cage after the procedure🤷🏾♀️
The second nuance is that in all previous grooming my dog was very affectionately greeted, they ALWAYS clarified her name, addressed her by name, and a sincere love for animals was visible. There is a completely indifferent person at the reception here. It's also a clear sign for me not to set foot here anymore.
