The hotel is great! Rest with a bang, exceeded all expectations! We arrived late and had dinner. There were nuances with the check-in, everything was resolved very quickly. The staff is friendly and helpful, if something is needed, they immediately respond and make adjustments. Food for 5+, relaxing with a child, no problems at all! The rooms are clean, towels are changed regularly. The beach at the hotel is shallow, we go to the next one (but this is one whole), you can use the pool and all parties and shows are held there. Therefore, there is no music in the hotel until late at night, peace and grace.

We went to this hotel for a honeymoon in the period from 08/10/24-08/21/24. The staff was polite, the balcony was on the construction site, two 1.5 beds instead of a double bed. There is garbage everywhere on the street, there is not much place to walk. The room was tired, the bed linen was changed a maximum of 2 times, the towels will not be changed until you throw them almost on the floor. The food is not bad in principle, a variety for every taste, meat on coals in the evening every other day, drinks are not bad either. You can't really swim in the lagoon of the hotel, the water is up to your waist, only if near the net. So it's better to go to the neighboring beach, there is always some garbage floating near the shore. In the sea, as well as in the pool, you can't swim after 18:00 either, because they kick you out. A 4-star hotel does not pull from the word at all. Keep documents and money under lock and key, because they can be stolen, on the day before departure after 20:00 someone from the staff came to our room and stole money, they noticed the loss only at the airport, dollars and Russian. Valuables should be kept under lock and key. There are beggars on the street who will ask you for money. The beach is sandy, sun loungers will be difficult to find. The staff speaks 50% broken Russian.

We are currently having a rest at this hotel with our adult daughter)
The rest is ruined from the very first minutes. Right at the reception, the question is - do you need a standard or a sea view? We agreed with the sea view at an additional cost of $ 10 per day, went to look at the room, and from the balcony there is a beautiful view of the roof with garbage and remnants of building materials. We refused and decided to go to a standard room, we had to wait a couple more hours, as the room was being prepared. We went into the "prepared" room, the bed linen with dirty spots and all in short black hair immediately caught our eye, we naturally asked to change the bed linen. They brought gray and wrinkled underwear, but without hair ... like clean)
We didn't spoil our vacation any further and agreed to a gray one. But the breakthrough of the sewer system was the culmination of everything! An engineer was called, and we've been waiting for a couple of hours.
And that's all before New Year's Eve! The tours cost us 250 thousand rubles, for that kind of money there is a better service in Hurghada. We never swear or argue, as seasoned lovers of Egypt have stocked up not only with Alenki and good-natured smiles, but also with money for additional payments ... but alas!
The beach is dirty, there is a lot of green, fetid mud, the staff smiles sweetly, but they don't understand anything in Russian and don't do anything! You can't relax quietly on the beach, they always offer you something, even if you fall asleep, they'll wake you up.
I understand that they offer something everywhere in Egypt, but not so intrusively.
In general, my daughter and I decided to put up with it and not notice anything so as not to spoil our holiday, but it's better not to come to this hotel!

The freshest real review of the royal star
We were from 04.12 to 13.12
The flight was postponed 3 times as a result, instead of arriving at 9:35, we arrived at 6 a.m., at the hotel reception we were told that at 10 they would give us a bracelet and a number, but for now walk around the territory. Okay, we thought, and went to explore, it was frankly cold in the morning , so we quickly completed the walk and returned to the lobby.
Wi-Fi works sooo lousy and only in the lobby, but you can buy a paid one that supposedly will catch even in the room (have not tried) .
And now it's 10:00, we approach the reception and they tell us that the bracelets will be given out, and the room is only at 14:00…
You can imagine the degree of our indignation, a day on the road, flight delays and postponements, waiting for a room, and all this in vain ... the first day was 1000% ruined
The hotel is adjacent to another one called Empire. Most of the Activities (charging, dancing, shows) take place on their territory, there is no separation of hotels, it just creates the feeling that this is one big hotel.
As for the sea …
Royal Beach is long, but shallow, to reach the depth you need to walk 50 meters.
After settling in, life began to play with new colors.
The next morning was already more like a vacation. We went down for breakfast and immediately got in line for an omelette and coffee. Everyone wakes up and goes out for breakfast just at 9:00, the next few days we managed to finish breakfast at 9:00 and take towels to the beach.
One day we lay on royal beach, but no one swam there because of the bad bottom and the shallows, and the rest of the days we went to empire beach, but keep in mind that there are many more people there, so you need to take a place very early.
There are no questions about nutrition at all, The food is delicious, but without frills. Chicken , fish , beef , 3 types of rice , potatoes, grilled vegetables, 20 types of bread and everything is delicious and fresh.
The royal simply does not have animation, 3 dull animators walk, they shouted stretching time once and that's it, nothing happens in the evening either, all the movement is on the neighboring beach. Volleyball, water aerobics, exercise, zumba, everything is there.
As entertainment, we went on a free tour (leather, oils, souvenirs and a pharmacy).
One day we just lay on empire beach- a square head, manicure /pedicure /photo shoot / massage / pigtails and everything else are scurrying everywhere, international polyphony from all sides, so after lunch we ran to royal beach in peace and quiet.
A representative of the daily sun company, a guy named Mohamed, is sitting at the hotel, offering all kinds of excursions.
We chose a trip to Aswan and Abu Simbel, this is a two-day tour with an overnight stay in Aswan. We agreed on the price for $ 420, but you agree on the program in advance and ask the name of the hotel where you will spend the night! Otherwise, you will have to pay extra for everything.
Keep in mind that the hotel is located on the outskirts, and if you go outside the territory, you will have nothing to do, 6/7 souvenir shops, 2/3 cafes and a 15-minute walk from the alleged shopping center, but apart from Defacto, there is nothing to see.
At the end of the vacation, we were waiting for another disappointment in the hotel staff.
The day before departure, having not found information about the departure at the counter, they came up with the question of where to find this information. In the morning, they began to feed breakfast "come in half an hour, come in the evening, come tomorrow morning, and you generally have a flight at what time", naturally we wrote to the hotel guide and she threw off the information. On the day of departure, out of pure spite, we approached the reception and asked about the time, unfortunately no one told us anything until our departure.
Will I return to this hotel again? - I'm not coming back.
Recommend it? - also unlikely , although it all depends on the price

The hotel and the rest are good, but its location, the green area is very important, since there are no others in the higher class, the food is fresh, there are fish, meat, chicken, pastries, kebabs,grilled chicken with waxes, soups are a masterpiece very tasty such where I have not tried,there are not enough fruits,I drank drinks only the coffee was delicious and the original coke was not bottled, it was pointless to find fault with the Arab people for cleaning or some moments, they were not used to being neat in culture yet, the pool was good, I liked it, the attitude was excellent to me, I communicated well with everyone, others had a different way, it was good for winteringThe staff is well done working for days.

The hotel is for adults, very calm, there are almost no children. There are no slides , no noisy animations . Animators come from a nearby hotel just to do exercises. There are very few Russians, mostly 50+ Europeans. If you're going to hang out, you're not here! There are comments on the placement , but everything is solved in 5 minutes. The staff is attentive and helpful. The food is at the highest level. Drinks without complaints . The Wi-Fi in the lobby is weak. There are enough sun beds for everyone , the pool is well heated . In general, we are satisfied with the rest.

Great hotel! The food is above all praise. Lots of beef, fish, vegetables, pizza, French fries, pasta station.
There is little entertainment! It probably won't be the same with small children.
But we didn't need it, we rested body and soul.
Friendly staff, sea view!
Swimming is a pleasure, there are no corals, and nasty fish)))

I do not recommend it. The check-in was asked for $ 20 and they will immediately check in , and the worst room is $ 50 or wait until you are not ready. The bed has never been changed, the towels were changed after a fight, the bathroom has only liquid soap. There is little choice in the dining room. The beach is clean but the towels are not changed, they are outraged. And the highlight next to the hotel is the club and music from 11.00 pm to 02.00 at night it is not possible to sleep (unless there are a lot of 🍻) I DON'T RECOMMEND IT

Nice hotel. We were there in October 2021. The food is normal. delicious and varied pastries. We haven't tried alcohol. My husband drank beer, I liked it. We went to a nearby hotel to swim in the sea. There were no problems, the owner was alone. The animation is average, in the evenings. We took excursions: Bathyscaphe- to see the underwater world of the Red Sea and went to Luxor. I am delighted with the latter. Recommend.

I was there in September 2021. The food there is excellent, though monotonous, from fruits - melon, dates, pomegranate. Often the second course is potatoes, rice, beans, spaghetti, there are no juices, only powdered Yupi or an Invite. There are a lot of Arabs in the hotel and they are considered first-class people, and the rest are second-class... The first is poured alcohol into normal dishes, and the other into plastic cups… Of the alcohol, only beer, the rest is a mess. Its beach is shallow, at low tide it looks like a large puddle, the neighboring one is nothing, relatively normal. Admission is free. It looks like it has never been cleaned, there are a lot of beer cans, tires, household garbage, bags at the bottom.
The hotel is located on the outskirts and there is nowhere to go in the evening. There is no animation, dancing in the pool in the morning and around the pool in the evening. The leading Russian language knows almost nothing, only English and German. A swimming pool and a game of billiards are all the entertainment. Locals swim in this pool in their clothes. I wouldn't go there a second time - it's boring there in the evening. There are no good shops nearby. I do not recommend it, only if at a low price ...
When returning from Egypt, they arranged a security check at the Hurghada airport. I have never met anyone who was searched in the real sense 3 times. Like convicts before being sent by stage - well, at least they didn't demand to undress and turn out their pockets - until the local inspectors thought of it...

Great hotel! Animation guys, well done! The check-in was really not pleasant, we arrived at 3 a.m. and began to settle in a big gap at 11 a.m. There were a lot of rooms to choose from. We chose a great room. The food is delicious. Since the middle of the holiday, the range of food has increased. The hotel was 18+ at the time of the rest, and the absence of golding kids was very pleasing. The sea is simply AMAZING!
