An excellent restaurant of national Latvian cuisine with excellent service and a chic atmosphere. I liked everything! It 's just a little hard to find 🙂
Very! The halls of a real feudal castle, with all the entourage, are beautiful and stylish! And the kitchen! without any comment, delicious food, also in the medieval style.
An extraordinary restaurant. Amazing atmosphere, unusually delicious dishes, pleasant service. I really liked everything. The most delicious mulled wine I've ever tasted. We recommend it to everyone!!!
A chic medieval-style restaurant. You get into the Middle Ages from the doorstep. Doors of 10 cm boards with an observation window, barrels next to the cart, shields, swords. Comfortable chairs from the Middle Ages, massive tables, candles on the tables, flares on the walls. The waitresses and receptionists seemed to have escaped from the extras of the film about Richard the lionheart. Interesting recipes of dishes and each dish with its own story. Try veal cheeks, very tender meat. In krynka, they bring bread for each baked at home with seeds. Very tasty dark beer at € 4 for 0.5 liters. Fast service. The check for two is about 40 €. There are a lot of tourists. The restaurant has 3 halls. Payment in cash and by card.
An amazing atmosphere of goodwill. Everything is very impressive (the setting). Excellent menu, all the dishes are delicious. My family and I really liked it. This place in Riga is a must-visit. A colorful and unforgettable experience.
An exceptionally "atmospheric" place in the center of Riga, reproduces the flavor of a medieval cellar and the food corresponding to the era, pretty innkeepers and table setting complement the effect. But, with regard to food, some surprises may appear,😉carefully read the menu: the set of products and dishes recreates the characteristic cuisine of the XIII century, the combination and composition of ingredients may be unusual😯, and the price is not a tavern!
Have a memorable evening!🛡🗡👑🎪🎠
They praised the honey beer and the knuckle, but in fact neither of them was happy. Soups and desserts are also nothing special. I didn't like the service very much. It's quite expensive. Of the advantages, of course, are the surroundings and interior of this place, but these factors alone are not enough... You can visit if you have not been to similar places somewhere else (in Tallinn, for example), otherwise there is very little positive.
If you want to plunge into the Middle Ages, you are at the right place.Once in a basement, stylized room, you become cut off from this world.....Delicious food, delicious beer, waiters in fancy dress ... and at the entrance you will be greeted with a song and will also perform a song personally for you and with you 🙏🏻🎼😘The aftertaste remains incredible 🙏🏻✨✨✨
An atmospheric place with an interesting and fast food serving. It is always filled to the end, you will have to queue right on the stairs, the waiters are quite tired of the load. There is live music. About 20 euros per person to eat to the full.
The most favorite restaurant in Europe. Children 9 and 10 years old, they could not sit down - they went to look at everything, the son forced them to put away their phones) Delicious, reasonable prices, the atmosphere is perfect, the service is normal. 150 seats, but it's better to sign up.
Welcome to the Middle Ages! Twilight uneven light from candles, sooty walls and vaulted ceilings, rough furniture - here you are in the 14th-15th centuries! The dishes are appropriate, but with a claim from the "royal table". Almost every dish has its own little story. After visiting such places, you want to read some historical novel, or at least watch something from the life of knights on TV...
We came in a good mood. With children. Some other children were running around the restaurant, and we were reprimanded in a rude, unpleasant manner. Something like "watch out for your kids." Of course, we were not going to flow around quietly and replied that the children were not ours and that we did not need to make remarks in such a tone. As a result, they refused to serve us. It just didn't fit for half an hour. The receptionist said there was nothing he could do about it.
This is the first time we have encountered such an attitude. Whether it's the show-offs of the restaurant, or the arrogance of the waiters, or the dislike of children - in any case, we don't set foot there anymore. And now we won't recommend it to anyone.
In general, it is very good. The food is delicious. We didn't see a particularly friendly staff - apparently, the lighting doesn't allow it, but the fact that the kitchen pleased us is definitely a solid five. The menu is very limited, but enough to choose from. Like it
An interesting medieval entourage, authentic serving of dishes.
At the same time, beer is sour, and pork knuckle for 20 euros is 20 percent meat, the rest is bone and fat. Once it is necessary to visit it because of the interior, the second time it is better to choose another place
For those who come to Riga, it will be a great omission not to visit this restaurant. Delicious beer. The dishes have an unexpected side dish)). The staff is very pleasant.
The restaurant has an atmosphere from the Middle Ages, very well done. Even the waiters are dressed appropriately. The kitchen is very good. A hearty dinner with alcohol for two 50 €. I recommend.
Very tasty food, great decoration, fast service and very friendly waiters. Everything is stylized. I recommend you to visit, there are not very many such places.
The food is not tasty and expensive. The interior of the Middle Ages is stylish .It's very dark and gloomy-but it's an image. On the menu, the dish reads tastier than it actually is.Desserts are generally not very edible
The main thing here is not to overdo it, there is a chance of full immersion in the Middle Ages. A great place, everything is delicious and inexpensive!
A very good restaurant, an original serving of dishes, an interesting interior, as if you were in the Middle Ages.Delicious food, the price tag is about 50 euros for two
Harsh pop music. With electric lighting, a three-meter "well" and refined sugar on the tables. The kitchen is the same.
The beer is not bad, but you need to get to Tallinn for a real entourage)
