Before visiting this place, I strongly recommend reading an expanded history of the estate. We had minimal knowledge about this place and we are very sorry.... the estate is simply huge (after visiting, we started reading the story). And alas, we didn't see much (((. The history of the manor is very interesting and after reading it and turning on the imagination, the walk can drag on for hours))))
The Obrina Palace and Park Ensemble. He belonged to the Obrinsky family, then the Kashchits. It was built in the style of late classicism with features of pseudo-Gothic. The palace itself consisted of three three–storey brick buildings - a palace and two outbuildings . Only minor ruins have been preserved from the huge palace....The ruins of several outbuildings have also been preserved....offices, sheds, stables and cheese factories. And at a distance from the complex, the ruins of a chapel-tomb have been preserved.
Dedicated to lovers of abandoned farmsteads and courtyards. A beautiful and unusual place. Who will visit - look for another tomb, unfortunately we missed it, because I found out about it later
5 stars for the fact that it was a really beautiful manor. According to what remains, it is possible to judge the scale of the buildings. This place needs to be cultivated, otherwise we will lose what we have.
The places are beautiful and the nature and the manor (what is left of it), but without proper care... There may be difficulties with the entrance, you need to make your way through the thickets
Coordinates of the chapel-tomb: 53.547227, 26.328208
We went to Ratov and on the way back we noticed an obviously ancient building near the road. We Googled the place and found out that there are remnants of the estate nearby. Of course, it is noticeably overgrown and only the barn is more or less preserved, but it is impressive to imagine a place based on old photos.
The place is striking in its beauty, but it took almost an hour to find the chapel-tomb. The approach to it is completely overgrown with trees, another couple of years and nature will destroy what our barbarian ancestors could not destroy
A nice local woman gave us an unexpected tour. It is a pity that the estate will dissolve soon. The trees remaining from the old park are enormously large. If you are not afraid to walk and jump over the stream, go to the tomb, a very interesting design.
A fairly large area with an abandoned manor and distillery, ruins of walls. Among the disadvantages are the lack of signs and information, poor access.
