Unexpectedly, the strongest and brightest impressions! A beautiful palace, there are so many unique corners! And wonderful staff - very tasty and convenient!
I visited friends in Latvia in the spring of 2010 and they took me to the Rundal Palace. The beauty is simply indescribable, there are no people and the whole tour is for the three of us... Plus, the guide got a lover of talking, and instead of an hour and a half, the tour lasted for us I don't know how long... In general, this palace is similar to the Yekaterinburg Palace in Pushkin
The Grand Palace is in partial reconstruction. The park is almost restored. Dusty free parking. The paths are also dusty. There are golf car tours around the park. The exposition has not been fully restored, but it is a matter of time. There are no audio guides. Guided tours must be booked in advance. The palace presents furniture, paintings and household items of that time. There is a cafe in the basement where you can drink coffee with homemade cakes or eat a hearty meal.
Oh my God, it's a real beauty.. The guys who will be in Latvia will definitely visit this castle, I don't even know how to put it into words, everything is so beautiful there... And there is also a rose festival in the castle in June.. You need to drive in the morning and for the whole day, then you can go around the whole castle, or drive through the alleys with cars,,, I advise you guys not to get old.. There will be something to remember
The gorgeous castle of Duke Biron, the very favorite of Anna Ioanovna. The architect is Rastrelli. The Birons owned it first, then the Zubovs, then the Shuvalovs. Now the President of Latvia is hosting important guests here.
The park is cool, there is a place to walk.
Very beautiful. It's a pity that we couldn't get into the rose garden because of the busy schedule, but from the window of the palace the roses were magnificent 🤗
There are no sources of information in the museum. There is no audio guide. You just walk around the halls. There aren't many people. And if you've seen a couple of palaces, then none of this is new.
