It's a very nice, spacious place. A beautiful combination of restored and preserved buildings. Simple, elegant. You can only feel the place if you know at least a little about the former owners, which will greatly help the museum on the territory.
It's a pity that it was too late for the restoration. Judging by the historical data, it was an interesting complex. Saturated Istria. We enjoyed walking through the restored buildings. The exhibits are mostly replicas, but you can still recreate the atmosphere of that period. We wish you to complete the restoration work and open the museum in full.
A beautiful complex. When the restoration is completed and the work with the park is completed, I hope it will be great! I advise you to visit. It's a good museum, albeit a small one. Friendly staff. But aaa always lacks a travel service. The only cafe in the city center, but they only feed tourists from buses. But the number of tourists in their own cars is large. But there's nowhere to eat!
The palace complex consists of two restored buildings with expositions. When there were 26.04.25, there were several halls dedicated to Boots. The administration of the complex is trying to restore it, but it is clear what efforts it costs them. A very large part of the complex is still in a state of conservation. For general information about life in Belarus in pre-revolutionary times, it is worth coming and taking a look. I liked the tour. A repeat visit is only planned by chance or after a complete restoration.
One of the main attractions of Ruzhana and Belarus in general. The large territory of the museum, architecture combined with beautiful nature. A fairly large collection of museum exhibits is located in several halls of two buildings. Very friendly and competent guides who tell interesting stories and will definitely answer additional questions. There is a good parking lot next to the museum.
An excellent complex, again with its rich history. It's a pity that many things will be frozen as they are, without restoration. Classrooms, interiors, exhibits. We enjoyed visiting the museum.
I was here on an excursion, as always, it was interesting to learn about the people who lived here with the guide. I liked the museum, it's small, but with a lot of expansions. I wish I could restore everything else.
An interesting place. Now you can see the ruins and restored elements of the palace ensemble. A large green courtyard, I was very pleased that there are no trampled paths. The site is undergoing restoration, but this does not prevent you from exploring the palace, thinking about its former greatness and imagining what will happen in the future...
Great. It looks great. When traveling in Brest region, it is definitely recommended to visit. They are still being restored. The exposition is off-topic, but the scale is impressive!
A very interesting place where you can take a beautiful photo. We were in November 2024, restoration work was underway. There is free parking. It is recommended to visit.
It's great that everything is being restored in the fully restored 2 buildings of a very interesting museum. There is also an old functioning church in Rushany with a very beautiful exterior and interior decoration. Since September, it seems that organ concerts will be held there, in any case, the schedule is already there
Restoration is being done, I hope it will be completed, from the fact that everything has already been restored, I highly recommend visiting the museum halls. There is something to see. And also be sure to stop by the city, there are very interesting wooden sculptures there
It's not the first time we've been here. A very interesting place, which every year, thanks to the reconstruction program, becomes more beautiful and informative. You can explore the complex yourself by visiting the museum and walking around the territory, but, of course, it is more interesting to listen to the guide. After all, they know many secrets and secrets of the history of the palace.
I really liked the complex. Restoration is carried out with love, everything that can still be restored is being restored. Even in its ruined form, the building makes a strong impression. Original exhibits reflecting the corresponding era have been collected. The guides are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It will be interesting to come here again when the theater opens.
We came with our family from St. Petersburg to visit our relatives, Belarus is beautiful as always, my mother was born in the village of Mogilevtsy in 1949, four years after the war, but by the will of fate, after graduating from secondary school, she was sent to her uncle in Kazakhstan, to Karaganda, where she stayed and I was born and I grew up in Karaganda, but at the age of 47 I ended up in St. Petersburg (in 2016). The road to the village leads through Lyskovo and Ruzhany, when you pass through the cities of Belarus there are steles with the dates of the founding of the cities, many under 1000 years old. Sapieha Castle is impressive, there is a special contrast between the restored part and the destroyed one. The western part of Belarus was under Poland until 1939 and Polish lords lived in these castles until the last, almost all were destroyed during the war, but the state restored them and now you can admire the castles of Nesvizh, Kosovsky, Mirsky, Ruzhansky. In the town of Kamenets, 50 km from Brest, the Belaya Vezha border tower has been preserved. For that time, it was just a monumental structure, like a skyscraper for a modern person. Belarus is beautiful, the people are amazing, the language is such that when they talk to you, it's like they're singing. All the best to this land and the people living on it.
Atmospheric! Clear! Beautiful! I was running headfirst against the wall. And it takes time to understand THAT Time.... Beauty! Belarus!!! The border of the vile Europe and the Russian World! The country is Kind and a reserve of wonderful people! They were reborn from the ashes of Khatyn! They swept the country and brought purity to the land and to the souls! Thanks!!!
It was beautiful, dignified, and on the last Wednesday of the month it turned out that admission was free, an unexpectedly pleasant bonus. Of course, the ruins and the place itself were impressed. There is something to see and definitely worth a visit. You will learn a lot of interesting things and love Belarus even more🔥
It's a pretty interesting place. It is impressive that part of the palace has been restored, and part has been left in a ruined state. Many people like destruction. The staff is friendly. The side part is painted in a pungent green color, a strange choice. Pastel would be more appropriate, in my opinion. I took off one star because something was missing. There is something to compare it with.
A beautiful place, like everything in Belarus! It is under restoration, some fragments have been restored! A must for dedication! Thanks to Alexander Grigoryevich for his work and care in preserving the history of his beloved republic!!!
How wonderful that the reconstruction of this wonderful building has begun, until it completely collapsed. This is very important! The entrance to the museum is inexpensive, and the guide is very erudite. You can walk around the territory for free. Excellent view of the surrounding area. I really want to see how this palace will look in its final form.
Today we visited Sapieha Castle in Ruzhany with an excursion. While in Minsk, take your time, be sure to visit this landmark. It was not completely restored. But what has been restored is amazing. The castle was built in 1784-1786. A mixture of Baroque and classical styles. The ruins of the unrepaired part will leave an indelible impression. It is easier to get from Minsk as part of an excursion group by bus.
The scale of historical buildings is impressive. The atmosphere of the place is as impressive as possible. The ruins are steeped in history and very impressive.
It is a beautiful place, it is very good that this facility is being restored.
The entrance ensemble is very beautiful. Of course, the renovators have a lot of work to do to restore the palace, so they decided to visit it again after a while.
We were in May of the 25th year. We got there at the time of the restoration. I managed to see the time connection). I am sure that after the restoration it will be beautiful, like the Puslovskys. In the meantime, be sure to stop by and take a look. I didn't even expect that there would be so many impressions.
Overall, it's good.
A place for the future. There's still a lot of work to do.
In the future, with proper restoration, a mini Versailles, of Belarusian cut.
The building complex is still in operation, but the main part of it is still under restoration. In 3-4 years, it will probably be great here, but for now I don't see the point in wasting time on a trip to Ruzhany...
Plus - a wonderful, atmospheric place.
It is very beautiful, there is something to see and where to walk.
Minus- there is simply nowhere to eat.
On weekends, most often the restaurant in the castle itself and the "cafe on the swamp" is closed for special service. Ie, if you want to have a delicious meal and sit over a cup of coffee, admire the views of the estate, the castle and the beautiful lake will not work ......
Sorry.
The manor was seen by chance. Restoration is underway, half of the ensemble is done. The ruins impressed with their thick walls. I liked the settlement where the estate (Ruzhany) is located-it's clean and beautiful. The houses have portraits of princes and kings instead of window frames.
The palace complex itself is still under restoration, but part of it has already been restored and tours are being conducted. The guide is simply in love with the palace and its history. It's a pleasure to listen. And there is something to see.
The rich history of the family of princes from the Sapieha family who lived in the palace is impressive. A small part of the palace, the entrance group, has been restored. A quiet and peaceful place, you can take a leisurely walk, visit the museum and touch the history.
A good place with a historical architectural complex. It can be seen that restoration work has been carried out .
It so happened that when visiting this complex, the museum had a day off. Therefore, the view was only from the outside.
It is clear that there are not enough funds to fully restore the complex.
A pleasant museum. There are quite a lot of interesting authentic exhibits with a small area of premises. I was especially struck by the wooden coat of arms, which hung on the frame without any covering for a couple of hundred years, and has been preserved!
A wonderful place with a beautiful history. By all means book a guided tour - the sweetest and most educated people who know and love the history of their native land
A historical place in the process of restoration. One of the several buildings has been completely renovated and tours are conducted in it. Great, well done! They spare neither money nor effort! Keep it up ! I recommend you to visit.
The museum complex was impressive. Part of the palace and park ensemble has not yet been restored, and this is very interesting in contrast. The museum exposition is small, but quite decent.
I liked the museum! An interesting selection of historical materials about Ruzhany, the castle and its owners Sapieha. I hope for further expansion of the exposition and the publication of a book about the castle and the Ruzhans.
Many thanks to the residents of the district, they spend huge amounts of money from their budget to restore this facility. A significant place for the whole republic in all plans. Health and prosperity to the residents of the district!
The location will appeal to fans of abandonments and mysteries. It will also be interesting and unusual for a beautiful shooting and photo shoot .
Restoration work is underway.
An atmospheric place, especially the part of the complex that has not undergone reconstruction. There is a museum that is definitely worth a visit for a full perception of this historical site.
Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done. But, what has been done is impressive. It turns out to be a contrasting palace complex. On the right is a restored part, and on the left is a dilapidated one. There is a wonderful tourist project in the future.
In fact, there is nothing to see, a dilapidated palace, but the significance of the trip increases with a visit to this place with an excursion, so history lovers will have something to learn!
Stop your run, traveler, come in and see how fleeting the river of time is ...
And if you plunge into history, it becomes clear that the pride of the owner of the castle, Sapieha, led only to ruin, oblivion and desolation ...
A must-visit!!!
Beautiful ruins. The town itself is also pleasant. Restoration work is underway at this facility, but the idea is not yet clear: either everything will be updated, or they will leave part of it as it was, like comparing two eras. As for me, it would be better to restore everything, otherwise it will fall apart to the end. There is nothing wrong with "new models". Yes, it's time and money, but it will still be better and more attractive as a result.
