On the second floor, in the far row closer to the cheeses, our beloved family, husband and wife, are selling. Two years later we returned to them, they recognized us) the most delicious churchkhela, wine, honey. Nothing is being sold and everything is very fresh. The hostess calls everyone "brother", "sister", not otherwise. 🥹🥰
It's all good. People are decent. I forgot the gift bag on the STREET and returned an hour later everything is in order, security was returned on the street!!!!
We bought a churchkhela. There were worms in it at home!!!! It's just terrible!!!
They threw everything away!!!
Considering that everything is open, flies can probably leave larvae wherever you want!
Be vigilant!!!
The prices are the same as in the city. There's not much point in going. Problems with parking, etc.. True, there is a large selection of products and greenery.. Lots of sweets and nuts!
To take spices in the depths of the market from Faina. A wonderful woman, speaks excellent Russian, gives a lot of tips on choosing spices, and just everyday advice!
An ordinary market, the price tag is the same as in the city, there is no point in going there specifically if you do not live in Georgia permanently. We bought good wine, they sell a lot of fresh spices and vegetables. Not a very convenient location. In general, the usual market
It is far from the coastal zone of new Batumi. It is not a fact that the prices are lower than in the place. The choice of vegetables is large, change the money for earlier, because the course on the market is not the best!
Carefully count and see what you take. The bazaar is like everywhere else. See what the locals buy and from whom. There is a bazaar in the surrounding streets. Greens and cheese were taken there. The price is different for locals and tourists.
How they sell all the same things from the 90s. Wine in half bottles, tea, seasonings, herbs, nuts. Prices are cheerful, at intersections closer to the sea, prices are lower.
This is a market, not a hypermarket :) a couple of tips:
1. Learn Georgian numerals and listen to what price they give to the locals - so they will give you at this price.
2. Try everything, pick up the products yourself too
3. Trading life hack: just walk along the row and ask everyone for the price. All the merchants see you and on the fifth or sixth they will start offering a discount themselves :)
4. Go not only to the pavilion, but also across the street - there are much better and cheaper vegetables.
Well, show up regularly - you will be noticed and will be offered better.
And tourists will certainly be sold, as in any bazaar in the world :)
The market is big, but when they see that the Russian prices are increased many times!!! Be careful with the purchase of wine products, you can get poisoned.
The market is 3 points higher. There is no bargaining when buying a product. The price is fixed, for non-locals. I do not recommend buying cheese. The date of manufacture cannot be determined. The product is stale.
An ordinary market, a large selection, meat (chickens) and cheeses on the second floor, the quality of the products is excellent. The prices don't differ much from the stores
Hamsa, carrots, potatoes, tangerines, tomatoes, persimmons, apples, cauliflower, peppers, onions. Everything is around 20kg. The price for all 27 GEL ($10). The date is 3.12.2023, the air temperature is 19 degrees. The fabulous city of Batumi!

I bought churchkhela there, it is very tasty, the children are delighted... Children are 38 and 36 years old😁
A terrible market, one of the worst in the whole Caucasus and Georgia and Armenia. Inflated prices, a very small selection of vegetables and fruits, not even fresh is sold everywhere ... even in Pyatigorsk the market is better, not to mention the Disertian market of Tbilisi…
A good, small market, if you respectfully communicate with sellers and then the answer will be the same, I do not advise you to buy anything at the entrance. It will be cheaper inside.
