I visit Ekibastuz a couple of times a year. Except for the Maxi Mall and the Miner Park, there is nowhere to go in the city. The park has a sad impression, when you come there you get back to the eighties and nineties, when this park was opened. The same carousels and rides, only rusty. The trees and shrubs are neglected, apparently they have not been sufficiently cared for, groomed and watered. The only thing that has appeared in the last 20 years is a new wide alley with benches, night lighting of the Ferris wheel and a fountain that I did not happen to see working. EVERYTHING IS VERY SAD! After all, you can plant trees of different species: cedars, firs, mountain ash, etc. And there is no need to make excuses that the climate does not allow! Everything allows it, and you yourself know that everything grows and smells good among summer residents, because they treat their piece of land with love. Everything can be grown if you had the desire. After all, blue fir trees grow near the Akimat, but it's not enough to bring beauty to the park? Is it weak to plant flowers along the alleys? If you do not have finances, you can contact the townspeople to share seedlings of trees, beautiful shrubs and seedlings of flowers. And it is better that they themselves have the opportunity to plant this tree and take care of it, and then show their children so that children also have a love for their city and park and do not have a desire to break and destroy something.
