An ancient, beautiful temple. Services and various necessary rituals are held. Everything inside is amazing, the beautiful work of architects and icon painters. A wide variety of icons and places for prayer services. Convenient access, located in the city center.
One of the oldest Orthodox churches in Almaty. Magnificent architecture, interior decoration in an incomparable religious style.
Everything emphasizes the holy spirit and energy.
When visiting the temple, you feel calm and peaceful.
Near the main entrance there is a specialized store where you can buy various religious literature, icons, candles and other goods.
Also, everyone can visit the temple and plunge into the history of traditions and cultures of multinational Kazakhstan.
I also recommend it for visiting by foreign guests.
My favorite temple.
Kind, warm, native, calm and beautiful.
Amazing people serve in it. Visiting the temple gives you a feeling of peace and complete happiness.
Behind the main temple, the office of the charity foundation "Mercy", gladly and gratefully accept help for those in need. Any one !!! Things, products.
There is a very pleasant and friendly priest in St. Nicholas Cathedral. He will always listen and give advice.
Everyone is welcome here!!!
I was at the Epiphany for the first time, I really liked it,
Convenient location relative to my area of residence, helpful and kind people, including the staff. Everything was conveniently located, and the tent for changing clothes, and the font itself.
Favorite cathedral of Almaty. There is grace in him. There are many shrines, including the relics of St. Peter. Nicholas. Good services and meaningful sermons.
One of my favorite and native temples. Everything is always fine. It is always a pleasure to come to this Cathedral. A very good church shop. Excellent assortment. The prices are not high. Very pleasant and polite shop workers.
A spiritual place. It is very cozy and pleasant. Pure and sincere. Nice enough to visit. I recommend a visit to an Orthodox, baptized person. One of the oldest temples in the city
A historical and holy place! Here the soul finds peace. Back in the 70s, my grandfathers baptized me in this church. It rightfully occupies a worthy place in the history of our city!
I really liked the place, the large parish, the territory with a refectory, a shop, a chapel. Good fathers, a prayer-filled and solemn church, an interesting interior space is organized: a separate right limit for confession and a left limit for funeral services.
A beautiful temple with a very beautiful and well-maintained territory!
I was lucky to be there at the time of the lilac blossom! Everything was drowned in her flowers and scent around the temple!
St. Nicholas Cathedral itself is very beautiful
It preserves the relics of St. Nicholas of Almaty.
Most of all, I was surprised and impressed that every icon or relic has the necessary prayer! It can't help but be gratifying! Very convenient.
There is a Sunday school, a chapel with holy water and an icon shop on the territory next to the Cathedral, where they will explain and help you with the correct preparation of notes
A beautiful temple built in 1908, it is 116 years old
I have been visiting this temple for many years. It's very good in it. There is a small kindergarten with a bench, its own Sunday school
The cathedral of 1908, has survived several eras. When it was built, the area was called Kuchuguri, it was the outskirts. Now it's the center. The main shrine is the relics of St. Peter. Nicholas of Alma-Ata, who restored this temple in the post-war years after it was returned to the faithful
A place of power. You need to come alone, or with children. To say thank you for everything you have, and ask only for the good, and strive for good deeds yourself. To understand how many people are looking for happiness, and to understand how much you have. I wish you all - God bless you.
I like everything, but the choir singing on Sundays and Holidays is excessively concert-like and less conducive to prayer. But this is purely my subjective opinion
A historical place. I think my great-grandmother used to come here. The icon shop is well organized. The ministers of the church answer all questions without problems, if you do not have a scarf or scarf with you, you can take it at the entrance to the temple.
The most spiritual temple of Almaty. Very clean atmosphere. And there are no crowds of tourists, like at the central cathedral. It's fashionable to sit next to each other in the park.
A spiritual temple. A chamber atmosphere at Divine Services, especially when the service is held in a small church. For some reason, it is in this temple that my Soul and I feel good.
I recommend
A magnificent Temple. Good, kind priests. As you enter the Temple, there is a room on the left, everything you need and how you need to be kindly explained. The women in the Church Shop are also very responsive, they will tell you everything and explain everything. I really like going to it.
I am very glad that I visited St. Nicholas of Almaty. I was on my way to him from faraway Ukraine. The temple is beautiful and cozy, a wonderful choir and choristers, a well-groomed territory, a large separate Sunday School building surprised.
The first time I was in Almaty , the cathedral was a very beautiful place , very good territory , convenient Parking , the cathedral itself is very beautiful ! Favorable energy
The beautiful cathedral, when we were there, was being renovated, but this did not prevent us from enjoying the atmosphere, everything is shining, there are relics of St. Panteleimon, the icon of St. Raisa, I really liked it
