We were in the workshop on 26.03.25
Everything is beautiful, delicious, and interesting. But if you want to buy hot dishes, such as glasses or bowls, think carefully. The masters say that the dishes can withstand boiling water and a dishwasher, you can't just put them on a direct fire. But! We bought a bowl, poured moderately hot tea at home, and the glaze immediately crunched and cracked. In general, it is suitable for cold drinks, as a vase or decoration too (MB. we were just unlucky or consumer goods are on sale). I recommend checking on the spot, ask to pour boiling water from the kettle)
Exhibition and sale of very high-quality colorful ceramics. Which is made using a unique technology. All the secrets of the craft will be revealed to you in the workshop, which is located in the courtyard. The hospitable hosts will show you everything, tell you and feed you tasty and hearty.
It's a very interesting place. We didn't regret coming here. There is pottery, embroidery, and carpet weaving. They showed me everything, told me, and fed me a delicious lunch. We bought the dishes from them. Really, high-quality. We use it with pleasure
An atmospheric place. It was very pleasant and really interesting to be here. I liked that the prices in the store are fixed, there is no need to ask about each product and bargain.
A wonderful place, a very welcoming family. They told me everything, showed me, and fed me.
The children enjoyed spinning clay on a potter's wheel, and I hope the secrets of pilaf will allow them to get closer to the Samarkand masterpiece.
We visited this place on August 21, 2024. We were pleasantly greeted by the host Obidzhan. There were two craftsmen at the workplaces, whom we observed making dishes from clay on a pottery machine and coloring dishes.
Next, they were taken to the next hall, where the glaze is prepared. Four ingredients are mixed, poured into millstones, water is poured there, the donkey turns, the ingredients turn into dust in the water.... etc
...In the end, we were taken to a hall where you can view and choose (buy) products. In our case, there comes a funny moment. The prices were set in our understanding in Soums, but it turned out to be in dollars. And we, like in some cartoon, put everything back in place in reverse slow motion.
Obidjan conceded well. Anyway, we bought some nice products in memory of a good place, about Uzbekistan, about Bukhara.
Yes! We were also treated to hot tea, which was by the way. Actually, everything was sincere and pleasant.
Ceramic products of amazing beauty. Here they will tell you the secrets of manufacturing and show you how this process goes. They will invite you into the house and feed you. Very hospitable people.
An excellent master class was conducted by excellent craftsmen. The grandson was delighted with sculpting vases and coloring saucers, as well as visiting the household farm where a donkey named "Gulchatai" is kept, which participates in the grinding of dyes for ceramics
We not only visited the tour, ate a wonderful Gijduvan shish kebab, but also attended a master class, made a bowl and a candy bowl ourselves. The entire production cycle takes several days, so when asked to send us OUR dishes, the guys said that they have experience sending them! Hurray!
A few days ago we received our creations: how beautifully the master painted them!!!! Admiring!
Thank you for your hospitality and reverent attitude to the history of your craft!
A wonderful place, the family has been engaged in ceramics for 8 generations, the products are unique, very beautiful and at the same time at an adequate price. When we arrived, they gave us a tour, told us everything, and treated us to delicious hot tortillas. Thanks!
Everything is fine! Even great! History. We need to know our stories, our ancestors..................................................................................................................................

perhaps for the sake of visiting this workshop, it is really worth taking the time and going. At first, we were amazed by the host, who immediately after we arrived, began his tour, as if he had been waiting for us all day. then we were surprised that the production technology has not changed for 7 generations. well, in the end, the most important assistant, Masha the donkey. which works in the production of glaze. She has an ideal schedule of 29 days off and 1 working day.
A wonderful museum and very hospitable hosts. And, by the way, amazing products. If you are there, do not skimp on purchases. The prices are of course the same as Bukhara, but the choice here is wonderful.
