We had a rest in October, we liked the hotel. It is located near historical sites. Towels are changed every day, beach towels are at the reception. The staff is friendly. There is even a heated floor in the bathroom. The food for us is varied and delicious. Then we rested in another hotel, that's where the horror is. The only disadvantages are the lack of mosquito nets (the windows faced the mountains and could not be opened because of the bugs) and there is no sign of the name of the hotel (at first, the minibus almost took us to Novaya Gagra, and then they sent us towards Abbaty).

A nice hotel. Pros: convenient location, clean, cleaning every day, beach towels are provided, the food is good, without frills. There are plenty of places on the beach under umbrellas.
Cons: you can add coolers or sell 5 liters of water in the bar, because it's a long way to walk to the store. +add more lemonades (poor selection). Breakfast is monotonous, there is no shower gel, plates, slippers in the room.
In general, for such a price, the option is excellent. Thanks to the staff.

It's a great place. Everything is clean, the condition of the hotel is excellent, the plumbing is new. Free parking. The beach is across the street, there are plenty of sun loungers. A small disadvantage is the lack of a swimming pool. But the sea is nearby and it is the purest, so it is not a problem. And the playground can be slightly upgraded and enlarged.
The food is at a good level, there is always a choice. You will definitely not stay hungry. Polite staff. I recommend.

Quite a good hotel, I booked a comfort room with a sea view, two air conditioners, a bathtub, two large TVs...There is everything for relaxation. The hotel is located in Staraya Gagra almost on the seashore, two restaurants on the shore...The food is excellent, there is a bar in the dining room, the staff? I won't say a single bad word. Score 5... Special respect to the administrator Elizabeth and her assistants (This is such a young but strict mom) All outrages that this is a type of "Scoop" are rejected by me.... Quite a decent vacation (how to do it for yourself and you will rest) I rented a car with a left-hand drive (it is very difficult to find) I drove almost the whole of Abkhazia... we rested from 07.10-14.10. the sea is within walking distance, the sea is clean and at that time it was warm. the hotel is not big, there are no mosquito nets on the windows, there was a carelessness to open the window and stink bugs flew into the room 20 pcs. the food is too monotonous, already on the 5th day everything got tired. breakfasts are 2 types of milk porridges, scrambled eggs, boiled egg, bacon and fried sausages, pancakes and cheesecake and so on for 8 days. breakfast is a buffet, but dinner and lunch are served in the dining room. you can't take 2 cutlets, only one is allowed.

An excellent location, incredible proximity to the sea, the view from the windows of the sea, which constantly changes colors, adds emotions. Staff who know how to be inconspicuous and unobtrusive (and this is very important, especially those who go to the seaside park will understand why :)), but the level of service is excellent. Daily cleaning, change of towels, excellent buffet food on the average check (without red fish and caviar, but always everything is fresh and delicious: breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausages, vegetables, porridge, cheese, sausage, butter, bread, rolls, tea/coffee, jams, honey, sauces and incredibly delicious cherry compote), lunch (soup, okroshka, roast or stew, macaroni with cheese and without, mashed potatoes or fries, vegetable salads or "under a fur coat", chicken schnitzel or nuggets or pangasius), etc. - do not stay hungry! Of the disadvantages, I can only name (if you just want to "find fault" - very soft pillows) and slightly convex trays, from which the plate tries to "jump off" and a few meters of unpaved road from the street to the parking lot). But all this is nothing compared to the price of accommodation, service and location of the hotel. I will be happy to stay in it again!

The comfort room liked everything, I will describe the disadvantages: one of the pillows was tired, the soap dish and holders in the bathroom are electric when water flows, the water pressure is very low, or there may be practically no hot water. The view of the mountains is conditional - it's quiet at night, but the window is tiny, about 60cm wide, cars drive from the sea all day. The air conditioner is not powerful, but it copes. Nice bed linen and good towels. Every day. cleaning is a change of wet towels, garbage removal and a vacuum cleaner in the hallway, the bed is twice in 9 days, the bathroom should be cleaned more carefully. The carpet on the floor, which was not cleaned during the entire stay, the bathroom of room 228 requires a good cleaning from plaque. The dining room menu is simple, but everything is edible, sometimes cold food. Once I came across spoiled pancakes with meat, I gave this information to the kitchen staff, but I don't know if they took them off the table. Either there is no hood or it is not turned on, after the dining room, all clothes are saturated with odors. Communication with all the employees was pleasant, everyone says hello at least, this is especially commendable to the kitchen staff at the distribution, they are strong, we even got tired of doing it in a week)) The beach is not particularly beautiful, there are enough sun beds, but many are broken, umbrellas could still be put on, shoes are definitely needed. There were no power or water outages, which is good after reading many reviews! A clean and pleasantly smelling bed, thick curtains, contributing to the smooth onset of morning! The price includes breakfast - slightly cooked, but hearty and delicious: to choose from: 2 types of cereals, 2 types of porridge (oatmeal, rice/buckwheat), omelette and scrambled eggs, sausages, pastries (pies with potatoes/cabbage/ cheese/jam, pancakes/pancakes/casserole), bread, butter, vegetable, cheese and sausage cuts, fruits of two or three types (apples/pears, oranges and melon), water, compote, mocholo, tea, coffee, awesome honey! Spacious parking, separated from the highway. Polite, unobtrusive staff who maintain a comfortable stay and a clean room. I did not like · Nets on the windows so that you can sleep peacefully without the possibility of inviting flying guests (midges, mosquitoes and other fauna), shoe spoons (metal - for durability). It would not hurt to have a wardrobe so that you can hang long things, which is especially important for ladies. Make the number of blankets equal to the number of people in the room and replace the pillows with larger ones and suitable for sleeping. Upgrade the park of sun loungers, because many look "tired" and have mechanical damage. !!!Not the fault of the hotel, but wishes for the whole of Old Gagra: to increase the number of shops with a good assortment within walking distance of no more than 5-7 minutes. The price/quality ratio is overestimated, but it's not just the hotel, but the lack of competition due to the foreign policy situation.
I would put 4.5 if it were possible, but I put 5 stars in advance for development.

The hotel has its own beach. The sea is clean, fenced with buoys. The beach is sandy and pebbly. Beach towels are provided every day.
The disadvantages include the fact that the sea is located across the roadway. And the Abkhazians, with their driving style, complicate the way a little.

The best place on earth! I have been vacationing here since 2006, I come every year, or even twice. Very good repair, high quality plumbing. Room service twice a day, my favorite master of cleanliness is Ilona, a very good person, a close friend of our family🤍
Always delicious lunches and breakfasts. Right in front of the Mahito grill bar with incredible burgers, we recommend it to everyone!!!

I do not understand how this hotel gets a rating in principle even higher than 4 * ... We rested in August this year. We will definitely not return to this hotel anymore and will not advise anyone. Let's start with the attitude of the administration towards the guests - BOORISH. These comrades are not customer-oriented at all. We are not at all arrogant and picky guests, and still we had to face the "chief administrator" - a rare boor. It turned out how, on the day of arrival, the son sat on the bed in the room and the legs just broke. At night, this bed was taken out and replaced with a cot. Accordingly, when taking the bed out of the room, it was probably noisy, which the girlfriend of the "receptionist", who lived next door, complained about and they decided that the breakdown of the bed was our fault and we had to pay for it. If I can attach a video, I'll attach them with their miracle beds, which are even scary to sit on. It was us who faced such a nuisance on the very first day. Also, if you just go back to the hotel itself, the building is quite old and scary-looking, there are not even cabinets in the rooms to simply hang things, the carpet on the floor is dirty, and of course, the beds and sofas are in poor condition. Here are the service staff - sociable, adequate. The food in the dining room is monotonous, but it seems tolerable. On the third day of their stay, the children were already tired of eating there. Also, the territory is not equipped at all. They made a small corner, supposedly a playground - but this is also a pathetic semblance of everything. There is nothing for children to do there… Another point, a big and fat minus - the excursions that are conducted "from the hotel" do not correspond at all to what is stated in their brochures. You're going on these excursions just for nothing!!! Don't get fooled if you ever have to stay at this hotel. Let's go on one excursion - to the lake.The Ritz was more or less adequate, and then there were not all the stops that are stated in their brochures. And when we went on the trail.the tour- Boxwood grove + milling farm - was just shocked. They paid for just a ride in an old Mercedes Sprinter. The guide was the driver himself, who was not competent in this matter at all!!! He does not speak clearly, he talked all the way about military operations that were not related to the tour at all, he spoke poorly in Russian.... In general, I do not recommend this vacation spot to anyone.

Large Parking , convenient location, the room was taken in the area of 4tr (for this money, there is little to be found in this location).
I am writing about the standard room, which is on the ground floor, in other rooms it may be different somehow.
If you travel somewhere further and stay for 1-2 nights, then the norms (with reservations):
Cons: the room is small (approx. 10m. sq.), there is no wardrobe, there is not much place to hang towels / put things in the bathroom.
Pros: polite and pleasant staff, fresh room, bed with a normal mattress, confidently working Wi-Fi.
PS there is an interesting place on the ground floor... You walk through the hotel to the rooms on the ground floor and find yourself in a location with strange doors...It was as if he had entered a parallel world- a shabby hospital corridor... Then the normal repair begins again and the doors of the rooms.

It doesn't look like a new hotel at all. Everything is clean inside, in mirrored tiles with large halls and rooms. The beds are comfortable, but very soft, and the Ikea chairs are very tired. The carpet feels like it's damp. Unpleasant. In the mornings, and sometimes in the evenings, a train sweeps right past the wall. There are few view rooms. The food is average. According to the menu.
A cafe nearby is above all praise, the price tag is European, the food is local. The hookah has gone bad. The staff is always excellent.

This is the worst place I've ever spent the night!!!!! The first thing that caught my eye was the terrible disassembled doors, as if you were spending the night in a crazy hospital, as soon as you enter the room, the smell of mold is terrible!!!! The breakfasts are shit, midges are flying everywhere and the buffet is quite meager, we didn't even stay there for the night as soon as we checked out from the back of the building, it's all in mold, well, get out at least something. The room itself is dirty, the whole floor was in some colors and the walls with collapsed plaster, there are no bars on the windows on the 1st floor, people it doesn't cost 8 thousand. Per day!!

The price does not match the quality at all! Constant interruptions with light and water. Water can be turned off up to 4 times a day, electricity can be turned off almost every hour. There are not enough towels for the beach at the reception, although I'm sorry, a 2+1 studio room costs 8 thousand rubles for a minute.
