I stayed in Santa Sofia for 4 nights, the hotel is very well located, this is a huge plus! breakfast is the same every day, boiled eggs, omelet, cheese of 4 types, sausage of 2 types, olives, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, jams, yogurt, chocolate paste, bun, chopped sausages, butter, coffee, tea and some couple of types of not tasty cookies. We lived in the most economical room on the ground floor, I do not recommend booking it, there is no air at all, the smell of dampness, the room is very cramped, when I booked, I thought it was okay to spend the night, but no! I advise you to take a room with a window. We lived from January 29 to February 2, the room is warm, but if you decide to wash something, there is nowhere to hang and the linen does not dry. The room has a kettle, refrigerator, shampoo, shower gel and soap, as well as disposable slippers. The staff is very friendly. You can have tea and coffee at any time, it's free, and there is also water in the cooler. I definitely recommend a hotel, but choose a normal room.
The best staff, definitely. Many thanks to all of them! The maids clean like at home - clean and fresh. Friendly waiters, and receptionists are always ready to help. We liked the beautiful interiors and the cuisine more than in other cafes in the area. Everything is fine, everything is working. We will go there again, we will not look for other hotels.
A wonderful hotel, courteous staff, delicious breakfasts, convenient location, everything is nearby, the sea is nearby, a supermarket 24 hours in front of the hotel it has everything you need
The hotel has a restaurant, excellent cuisine, there are dishes with a very bright instogram serving, in room 203 we left a pleasant surprise on the closet, who will find write 😊👍👍👍
I recommend the hotel from the bottom of my heart
9 days were spent in full care of
our comfort
Cleaning every day
Change of bed linen and towels
Soap shampoos shower gels toilet paper are all provided every day. There is a hair dryer.
The air conditioner also works for heat,
There is Wi-Fi
There is a metro nearby, 6 min walk
Very cool
At night, if you do not sleep, you can go down to the Hall they will treat you to tea or coffee, they will talk to you through an interpreter if there are questions, they will always answer.
In general, a cool hotel and the staff in it, ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I advise everyone.
Norm is a guest. You can spend the night a couple of times. Especially at current prices. It's clean. And there's even a canteen inside. There are several attractions within walking distance. The rest is on the beach or take a little walk if the weather permits
In the very center for a little money. But the rooms could use a renovation. Air conditioning, TV (there are several Russian channels). Bed linen, towels (every day) are changed, everything is clean/neat / starched - there are no questions about this. A Russian-speaking administrator. Within walking distance of everything you need, a store in the form of Russian networkers, a grand bazaar, a tram stop. Not to mention the sights.
Not the best hotel. We booked at the end of January, found it based on reviews, the first reviews did not match reality. We made a reservation for an economy room, it turns out that they have an economy room in the basement on the 1st floor, if you can call it a floor. We were given a double bed, I was with a friend. It was unbearable to be in the room, the ventilation was very poor, and there was no ventilation. For an additional fee of € 25, we were given a room on the 1st floor, it was very cold in the room, despite the fact that the air conditioner was running for heating. The breakfasts are very meager, as much as I'm not picky, but for that kind of money, the breakfast was bad. I highly do not recommend this hotel.
I'll start with the pros: excellent location, Russian-speaking staff, good food in the hotel's bistro, good maids.
Everything else is a fat minus. The rooms in the basement are pleasant only in appearance. During the daytime everything is fine, at night there is a suffocating smell of sewage, the clinking of dishes in the kitchen and the staff happily screaming all night long. In the morning, some kind of animal moves under the ceiling of the basement, tapping its claws on the surface of the ceiling. I'm guessing it's a rat.
I must pay tribute that after my request I was immediately moved to the first floor, there is no smell here, and the staff is no longer so audible, they are yelling, but somehow in the distance. I'll bet two anyway. I think this is objective,
A wonderful small hotel in the historical center of the city. Friendly staff, many of them are Russian speakers. A good breakfast. Unforgettable walks through the streets of Istanbul will remain forever in your memory! I want to come back, but only when the greenery blooms and it will always be sunny!
A mini-hotel in the center of the old city of Istanbul. Everything was fine with us, breakfast is on the 1st floor. The location of the hotel itself is very convenient!!
A nice cozy hotel in the historical center of Istanbul. Very pleasant and polite staff, mostly everyone speaks Russian, which is very pleasant in a foreign country. They take care of the safety of visitors , which is very nice !
Great hotel.friendly staff.the Russian-speaking administrator helped us in all matters.wonderful hosts.all the sights are within walking distance.the restaurant at the hotel is wonderful, the waiter of the World has always helped with the selection of dishes, very friendly and attentive to the guests, very tasty and the prices are reasonable.we enjoyed everything very much, next time we are lucky enough to visit Istanbul, we will return to Santa Sophia.
A 2-3 star hotel. There was a kettle in the room without cups or glasses. Cleaning is on an average level. There were not enough towels all the time. But! The location of the hotel in the very historical center covers the disadvantages.
The cunning, cunning staff at the reception, the maids were generally rude, broke into the room with cleaning, even though there was a "do not disturb" sign, they still dared to make a remark to me that the sign was not hanging like that. ... in general, three times they directly broke into me during the week. The guests are settled in the basement in the basement without windows, it happened to me, then I heard from other guests that they were also treated like that. In the morning, I just called the travel agency where I bought the ticket and complained. ...at the reception, they tried to cheat on the price of a hammam, they asked for $ 70 without a check and guarantees .....in general, I definitely do not advise
Very interesting design inside the hotel, wonderful paintings. The staff is friendly and speaks Russian very well. I really liked the breakfast. A wide range of buffets. It is located close to the tram tracks. Close to all the attractions. I highly recommend it.
Quite a good hotel, good location, near Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Sulemania Mosque and shopping street. Good breakfasts. The reception understands Russian, there is a Turkmen Ali, who is very happy to help and serve.

I would say a lovely Istanbul hotel. The staff is very friendly. The room is clean, beautiful, cleaned every day, towels were changed every other day. Breakfast is simple and monotonous, but I did not lose weight, although I ate very little except breakfast. The location couldn't be better. In the evening we walked at the Racetrack, it's 10 minutes. walking distance from the hotel. All the sights and shops are nearby.I had a guided tour. They informed us in advance about the start time of the tour, they stopped by on time, the guides spoke excellent Russian. It was good that there were tables next to the hotel where you could chat and enjoy tea, which was offered free of charge by the staff. No one asked for tips. All smiling and pleasant people. The hotel is located in the very center of Byzantium, behind a wall. I am very happy with where I lived.
There is no central heating, only air conditioning. In winter, the room is damp and cold, mold and condensation on the walls.
The rooms need renovation, everything is very old.
The hotel is very well located, near the tram stop, 10 minutes walk to the historical center.
Nice hotel, very conveniently located, next to the tram line. You can go to any part of the city.

The room cleaning is disgusting, one towel for two. There is no decanter and glasses in the room, the linen has not been changed for 8 nights. The mini fridge didn't work. The temperature was above zero. I do not recommend this hotel for friends
