Great port! Practically in the center of Istanbul. Nearby are Topkapi and the whole old town with its flavor. The Egyptian bazaar is within walking distance, with sweets, gold, teas and other things and small things. If the spirit of adventurism is present, you can wander endlessly through the shopping streets in search of something that only you need. Turks are trading, but not in the same way as before, and the difficult economic situation is weighing on the oriental flavor.
Small, cozy. It is equipped with a nearby infrastructure - a restaurant on the one hand, public toilets on the other (according to the Istanbul 5 lira map), clean everywhere. They work perfectly at the border. Near the park, near the train station and metro
The port is in close proximity to all the attractions. Gulhane Park starts right across the street, passing through it you get to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Cathedral. If you go to the right along the embankment, you can come to the Galata Bridge, to the Egyptian Bazaar, to the exchangers, to the pier from which river trams depart along the Bosphorus. It is also very pleasant to be in the port itself- peace and quiet, places of rest. You can look at Istanbul, at the bridges, enjoy the sun and the Bosphorus.
The port is simple and hassle-free, with world-famous attractions nearby, as well as a park with the Topkapi Palace complex. Cruise ships stop right here, conveniently, close, and you won't get lost.
A very convenient port in the center of Istanbul in the Golden Horn Bay. Many attractions can be reached on foot - Topkapi, Basilica and Feodosiya Cistern, Gulhane Park and others. There is also a railway station nearby. Beautiful view of Galata.
A huge plus is the location next to Gulhane Park. The main attractions are within easy reach from here. Of course, there are no shopping malls and restaurants. But, by and large, this is not required from the port.
The port is in close proximity to the main attractions of Istanbul, within walking distance of Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet Mosque, Suleymaniye, Galata Bridge
While moored, I thought it was somewhere far from the center. And then it turns out to be the best place to explore the city. The famous Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Market, Blue and St. Sophia Mosques, etc. are within walking distance.
The port is conveniently located. There is a place to walk nearby. And enjoy the spirit of Istanbul. You can buy wonderful coffee, and the sweets are amazing. I didn't regret it. There is a public transport stop nearby. You can go to the other side of the Bosphorus. And I want to note the very friendly attitude of the locals. Not a single negative. Maybe I was lucky!?!
Excellent location, you can walk to the Galata Bridge along Kennedy Street in 5 minutes, and to the main attractions in 20 minutes through an underground passage, go directly past the Egyptian market ( paying attention to the signs) For those who travel on a liner, the location is simply amazing .
Istanbul cool LLC)I really liked the old town, all these narrow streets, merchants on every corner)the atmosphere is cool)the port also liked Soaz's exit to the city) I crossed the road and soaz got into the park)great
Very close to Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, the old town - within walking distance, even if you are not mobile enough, you can walk. There is an embankment and a park nearby. Nicely.
Super, from the port you can easily walk through the park to all the ancient sights, even without much knowledge of the city, take the T1 tram and drive through the Bosphorus
Very beautiful! Even the air has an unforgettable special delicious smell. I liked everything. A wonderful country! Wonderful people! In my heart forever💖💖💖
You won't see any beautiful glass building here. But in general, it is convenient, the port is in the city, there is a transport hub nearby and the opportunity to leave. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, and what else does a tired traveler need? :)) and relatively close to the old center of Istanbul.
Very convenient location of the port for walking when leaving the cruise ship. Gulhane Park and Topkapi are right across the street. About 40 minutes walk to Galata Tower and Istiklal along the embankment.
A convenient port, in fact, everything is well organized, small vessels constantly ply. In Turkey, water transport is in high demand, so the port works great.
Close to the city. Do not take any excursions, it takes 15 minutes to get to the Egyptian Market, and there the Blue Mosque and St. Sophia Cathedral, and the Basilica cistern are 20 minutes away.
It's beautiful, but not like at home) The flags of Turkey are striking.. they are everywhere: small, big, huge, on houses, spires, on clubs.. everywhere. Which is what I wish for us)

Probably the most convenient port (pier), got off the ship and immediately finds himself in the city. Very close to a large square, you can use a tram, a tourist bus, rides along the big ring, across the bridge from Asia to Europe. You won't see much, but you can walk back, about 8km, and take a closer look around.
I can't call it a port, it's just a place where it's very dirty and there are just people there who pretend to work. No conditions, just a frame that you go through and no one cares about you
A dirty port, without any infrastructure, unkempt. An ordinary marina. But there are many attractions nearby within walking distance. Taxis reluctantly come here, stop in front of the Galata Bridge and continue on foot. Taxis are very expensive near the port, it is better to move away from it a little.
I really liked the park right opposite the exit from the pier - there is a place to eat, a lot of shade from trees, wide enough sidewalks so as not to interfere with other passers-by
A super place, even if there is a construction site around, but it's just a stone's throw from the old center! All the sights of Istanbul can be bypassed and seen in a day, if there are enough legs)))
