If you are passing through these places, be sure to set aside a couple of hours to explore the ancient city. Good restoration, you will be impressed. Don't forget that the city consists of two parts. The second part is 1..1.5km from the main one

It was great to visit and see the Ancient City of Sardes, the capital of the Lydian state, known as an important settlement center during the Roman and Byzantine periods, as well as historical structures dating back more than 5000 years and the place where money was first printed under state guarantee.
