Quite cozy, clean. The staff is polite and helpful. I liked the breakfasts , everything is fresh and delicious . The presence of a mosque nearby did not bother, it was almost inaudible in the room. The location is excellent, there are many attractions very close by as it turned out. The rooms are tiny, but they will do to sleep and rest. The room is cleaned daily. I was confused by the smell of sewage , we asked other guests , they also had it , I think the problem is not the room , but the hotel .

The hotel is located in the historical part of Istanbul Sultan Ahmet. Advantages: location, the main attractions are within walking distance, 7-10 minutes on foot. Perhaps that's it...
now about the disadvantages. Audibility, you can hear everything that happens outside and inside, the walls are made of cardboard. The furniture is sparse, there is nowhere to hang outerwear, there are few hangers, and the closet is small. Breakfast is meager, there is not much to eat except eggs, bread, coffee and tea.
In summary, I would like to say that most of the hotels in the city center are such, the proximity of attractions, an abundance of restaurants and cafes, and the presence of shops compensate for the inconvenience. However, this hotel does not even have 3 stars. The staff is friendly, even the money was changed at my request, the cleaning was done, the garbage was taken out. It could have been better for that money. The city itself compensated for all the inconveniences)))

Excellent hotel, good location, right next to Sultanahmet Mosque. And close to all historical places. The hotel is clean and quiet. Someone writes that it's noisy and the doors are slamming, maybe it's in the building where the reception is located, I don't know where I stayed. In the other building, where the dining room has an elevator and no noise. The food is very decent, for such a level of hotels. This is not all inclusive for you)) breakfast buffet. Yes, it's the same thing every day, but it's delicious!!! The staff is friendly and tries to resolve all issues. There will be difficulties without knowing English! Only the cleaners from Uzbekistan speak Russian, and that's not very good. There is only English and Turkish at the reception))

1. The hotel is located in the historical part of the city. Many attractions are within walking distance.
2. The hotel building itself looks quite decent from the outside. The building itself is 70 years old "by sight".
3. It is quite cozy inside. There are two "wings" in the building.
4. The staff is polite, sociable, speak English.
5. The numbers, I would say 4 with a minus. The brow is neat, but the wallpaper is wrinkled, there is mold in the bathroom. I did not observe any problems with water, my colleague did not have cold water in the room.
6. Windows of the old English system: you pull up, pressing away from yourself, otherwise they will fall out. In the middle there are two pivoting stops for locking the window. The "guides" are repaired with a piece of paper.
7. Breakfast is good. It's not Angelo, but it's not bad. Filling is a sufficient minimum. There are three names from the hot list. The first is an omelet. It's standard, delicious. The second and third are as lucky as you are. Sometimes there are delicious fried "buns", sometimes not so much. Vegetables and greens are excellent. Two types of cheeses, I haven't tried sausage - maybe it's for the best.
Coffee machine with buttons. Under no circumstances should you select button - 2. That coffee is terrible. The last button - chocolate - is quite normal.
Juices are diluted as much as possible
Bottom line: if the price is inexpensive, I recommend the hotel.

There is not even a toothpaste when checking in, take it with you. Unfortunately, this is the first time I've encountered this. The first time they give you free water, then you have to pay. Tea bags are placed on the table, but there is no replenishment in the future, and when you ask to bring it to the room, they will pretend that they wrote it down and bring it, and for 2 days there has been no reaction.
Of the advantages, towels are really changed every day, the breakfasts are delicious, and the location is convenient

Of the advantages: it's clean enough here, the cleaners are really trying. We came here to a standard room. There is an economy here, in no case do not take it!!! The rooms themselves are cozy. Very good staff, speak English well. Breakfasts are interesting for Istanbul even! In 7 days, it was repeated only once, but in general everything is different. Interesting. And of course the location is a fantastic place!!! You almost go straight to Sultanahmet))
Well, now the cons)))):
The most important minus (for me personally) this is audibility. Here absolutely everything can be heard from the room… Any sneeze, fart sorry, just everything!!! Those who have a light sleep really don't belong here. My significant other is sleeping peacefully, and doesn't hear anything at all, but I'm just torn by how much everything is heard... also, such guests are strange, at 3 am where they go out, then at 5 am they come back, maybe there are some parties that I didn't know about, but calmly you won't fall asleep here for sure.
What else, the size of the rooms! Shock content , the number of squares is 12 maximum!!! It's stupid for two people to even have nowhere to put things, they are too small these numbers!!! And for what else I want to take off the star, we had two pressed beds in our bedroom. And not one double bed!!!)) it's just a shame. How it is possible to do this in the 21st century is not clear at all. And as we understood it everywhere, there are no double beds from the word at all and just shift the beds and cover with one blanket ... in general, the hotel is really for those who just spend the night! Well, or who is not whimsical at all. I don't know if it's necessary to take a higher class of rooms, then it will be better. Because in general, the hotel itself is good, but the rooms and audibility are tin))

The location of the hotel is EXCELLENT, the historical part of the city (near the blue Mosque), the breakfasts are good. BUT there is one thing, the rooms are very untidy (lamps are torn off, dirty windows, dust on the walls), the rooms are poorly cleaned, the inner garden where there are tables and chairs (people have breakfast there, drink coffee, tea) looks like an abandoned vegetable garden and a warehouse for everything unnecessary. We went for the beauty of Istanbul, its atmosphere, we came to the hotel only to take a shower and sleep.

We returned just recently, the location is excellent, the transformer is there and back, but the staff and the cleaner are just tin, they practically did not clean, and if they did, then so-so, they had to finish it for her. Breakfast is the same every day, there is no variety.
The audibility is terrible, people are even more terrible, because someone is sleeping, and someone is walking, when they come home, doors start slamming, laughing, laughing, just horror, they do not react to the remark.

Friends. The worst hotel I've ever seen. I am here now. The fourth day. Treating the client like a bag of money. They do not react , absolutely not to any elementary remarks. A non-working safe, a TV remote control, and these are just the flowers. The most IMPORTANT problem is NOISE!! The audibility of the walls!!! The rumbling of doors, the screaming staff at night, The fourth day there is no restful sleep. The neighbor can be heard, there is a stomp from above, outside the door or! At night they closed the front doors and went to sleep . At six in the morning, someone came and hammered on the door until everyone was woken up. And so it is every day, believe me. Complete disregard, so that they don't scream, so that they put up ads that visitors are resting....

We returned a week ago. We took two rooms with breakfast. 1. The location is actually red square, house 1, but it is quite quiet. 2. Transfer both there and back, to different airports, is expensive, but completed on time and without problems. 3. They are quite clean and spacious enough both for living and for sitting with a large group. There is a bathroom with a shower, towels are changed every day, there is paper, liquid soap was used, but shampoo and gel were not risked. The conduits and plumbing are used, but workable. 4. Breakfast, which, according to reviews, is so-so... Well, yes, there are no eggs with lard, well, somehow you guys got stuffed... 3 hot dishes, a couple of complex salads, not counting vegetables, other components of a continental breakfast, several types of sweets, coffee on the border with burda, but where did you see better in hotels? I didn't have a chance. In general, it is slightly authentic, and quite tasty, and very satisfying. 5. Staff. The reception is excellent, the canteen is excellent, we just haven't met with the cleaner. They left early, came late. There is a kettle, a fridge. There is a waffle. For me, everything is fine, but maybe my wife and friends and I are not too demanding...
