I've been there twice, changed the currency. The only place for this in Gagra (according to the locals). I didn't hear any "hello", "please", or "goodbye" from the staff, although I greeted them, said thank you and said goodbye. On both of my visits, the cashiers chased me from one window to another. I tried to find out from a specialist a question about bank cards, to which the answer was "I don't know" and no explanations or attempts to clarify from someone more knowledgeable.

Disgusting and incompetent attitude of the staff. The guard at the entrance is generally a boor, almost pushed him out the door, without even letting him ask the staff for information. There is a printout on the door indicating the amount for the national currency, which can be bought as a souvenir. In fact, this amount has been increased almost 10 times. I do not recommend this place to visit

The ATM only serves mir cards. Separately, I want to say about the girl operators. They explained where you can withdraw money from MasterCard and visa, which is not profitable in the bank itself, they charge 3% for withdrawal, and the ATM 1%. They distributed Wi-Fi from their phone to make online manipulations.

It so happened that we came to Abkhazia for a vacation with a small amount of cash, of course they ran out and we had to look for where to withdraw them. The card issued by Sberbank of Russia turned out to be defective, more than one terminal of a store or other institution in Abkhazia did not read the card chip, the magnetic stripe also did not work. As a result, having money on the card, we could neither pay off nor withdraw cash. NFS does not work anywhere in Abkhazia. The last hope was Sberbank, but even here it was a bummer, the bank operator said that he could not help in any way. As a result, having money in the account, my wife and I found ourselves without money. Supermarkets became inaccessible to us, we bought everything on the market by transferring from phone to phone or the seller's card.

Thanks a lot to the entire staff of this branch of Sberbank! This 2022, at the end of the summer, my wife and I were vacationing in Gagra, we are from Novosibirsk, and it so happened that in the heat we went to the ATM of this branch of Sberbank. I felt sick near the ATM, I got a heat stroke. I was dragged by the arms into the bank's premises, where the entire friendly staff of the bank took part in my rescue, so to speak. Someone was fanning, someone was running for water, someone was massaging his neck, someone was watering his head. The guards also took an active part, and an ambulance was called for me, which arrived in just three minutes. There was also a doctor in the ambulance-a professional in his field-he immediately understood what was the matter, measured my blood pressure, which was only 60/40, immediately gave me an injection, and demanded to urgently bring a stretcher for me to transport me to the hospital. I, a 107 kg man, was put on a stretcher right in the bank branch, and the doctor, the guard, and someone else from the visitors took me out into the street in the most careful way, and loaded into an ambulance, which took me and my wife, literally instantly to the local hospital, where I received the rest of the medical care. And this despite the fact that we didn't even have any documents with us. In the hospital, too, everything was done quickly and very quickly with me, all the restorative procedures were carried out, a therapist, a neurologist were called, an ECG was done, blood was taken for analysis, and another injection was given to raise the pressure. In general, they brought me back to life, and after three hours they let me go home, first making sure that I feel good. What am I talking about all this? Yes, because I have not seen such a sensual, respectful, caring attitude towards a person anywhere in my life, and I have lived for quite a few years-52 years. Here in Novosibirsk, no one would even look at me that I lost consciousness. They would have thought that some drunk was lying around, and everyone would have passed by, but here!!!! God! It's good that there are such sympathetic and sympathetic people somewhere else in this world!!! Thank you Abkhazia! Thank you Gagra!!! Thanks a lot to everyone who took part in my rescue! The ATM helped out a lot when additional cash was needed during the vacation. There are no queues. The money is available. The WORLD maps are serviced, no problem. The commission is only 1%, although many here wrote that it was more. A photo of the receipt, for non-believers, is attached.
