A nice cozy hotel, consists of a historic building from 1903 (romantic), and buildings in the park connected by a covered walkway. Excellent location on the banks of the Vuoksi river, generous breakfasts, English-speaking friendly staff. Sauna, event halls, free parking.
A great hotel, as always, a good Scandik breakfast, a wonderful restaurant ($$), clean, cozy rooms, polite and courteous staff.
The castle itself, standing on the shore by the waterfall, is impressive (the promised ghost has not been met).
Opposite is a private Military Museum.
Near the central pedestrian street, K-market and C-market, hypermarkets (Prism, K-market and Lidl) are about 2.5 km away.
I have been staying here regularly for about 15 years. The cleanliness is impeccable, but the nutrition has been getting worse and worse in recent years. It will do for unassuming guests, but for those who know how it was, it was a complete disappointment. In the restaurant, the menu and the quality of the dishes also do not correspond to the declared stardom of the hotel. It is better to have lunch and dinner at the ROSSO restaurant nearby. The climate control panel in the rooms is very lacking. The location is the best in Imatra.
A very decent and beautiful hotel. A small but cozy Spa. Well, breakfast is above all praise. Evening and morning landscape, like in a fairy tale. Be sure to visit.
We rest at the hotel from 12-13.10. A great room, but we went to the spa center and were very disappointed: the water in the pool is cold, although it says 30 °, the Finnish sauna is only 80°, the Cleopatra Turkish sauna does NOT work, the infrared sauna does NOT work, the Jacuzzi does not correspond to body temperature (36 °). We are very sorry that we paid such a price for staying at the hotel and were not provided with high-quality services.
We lived in a new building, because in the old one (the one with the castle) the rooms are small, only for a maximum of two , and we were a family. The breakfast is classic, but for some reason there was no fish at all. Which upset me . The room was clean, the beds were large. The spa has a swimming pool, a couple of Jacuzzis, a sauna in the locker room + there is also a relaxation room. A pair of sun beds , a cot for children, 4 more warm sun beds of different sizes - like a hammam. It is normal for 7-10 people , if more , then like herring in a barrel .
The room is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is normal, the sauna is clean but cool, the pool and hot tubs are also not bad. I will be happy to come again.
The hotel is excellent, beautiful inside and out, the rooms both in the castle and in the spa building are good, new! The breakfasts are great! The spa is not bad, but the pool is very small
It's expensive, it doesn't make much sense. The spa is small, does not always work, there is a lot of walking along long underground corridors. Ventilation is weak, there are many outlets, many exits and entrances. There is no fish for breakfast. There are no fried eggs, there is coffee and juice. The appearance and the nature around are good.
The services do not match the quality. The room is cold, the water in the shower is cold. The spa services are disgusting. Everything is very bad for quite a lot of money.
