They hand over broken equipment under the guise of a new one. The scooter that was handed over to us stalled right at the garage — but the owners convinced us that "everything will pass." "Everything", of course, did not pass, and the bike, after it had to be started at every traffic light, finally died somewhere on a shallow road on the second day of the trip. We were lucky enough to roll him down the hill to a semi-abandoned village and get help there. Judging by all the symptoms, the bike is worn out, and it has problems with the fuel system. It turned out to the pile that he had an old battery that did not charge more than half — and he died very quickly from constant restarts.
The reaction of the owners: THE BIKE IS BRAND NEW, IN PERFECT CONDITION, YOU DEFINITELY BROKE IT, NOW YOU PAY US MONEY. The usual Russian divorce, nothing new, alas. The Russian girl Elena, who for some reason introduces herself as Veronica, actually gives up.
We are trying to get money out of them through the police. Don't go there. In six years of renting bikes in different countries, this is the first time that everything is so bad.
I was satisfied with the cooperation!
I promptly rented a scooter, had a cool ride (Yerevan was supposedly created for riding a moped)
And it was nice to talk to the owner!
I went alone, Sevanavank - Dilijan - Haghartsin. It's quite comfortable. The speed of 60-80 makes it possible to look around and enjoy nature. Unfortunately, the scooter was not in the best condition, but there were no problems during the trip. The overall rating of the service is good. And there are no alternatives.
A good and fast scooter, 125 cubic meters reached the foot of Aragats in an hour and a half, together and up the mountain I drove about 70-80, on the way back at least 80 and in 40 minutes.
The owners are responsive and pleasant people
Of the disadvantages, except that the very tiny trunk of the scooter itself, which fits almost only a helmet
We came to Yerevan with my wife for a few days. We found this place on the Internet. I really liked the bike, the city on two wheels appeared in front of us in an even more cozy way. Thank you so much to Kristina! I recommend it!
Kristina is a pleasant and polite person, works according to a well-thought-out honest contract, the scooter is fresh and pulls even in the mountains. We managed to reach the Amberd fortress (about 2500 meters above sea level) and the Geghard monastery without any problems.
If you go to the mountains in the sun, do not forget to smear the uncovered parts of the body with cream, you burn much faster in the mountains. When refueling, ask the tankers to be VERY CAREFUL, because they constantly pour gasoline on the scooter.
Kristina also provides a helmet and windproof glasses, necessary things.
5 out of 5.
Everything is just great!
Firstly, it is impossible to find a scooter in Yerevan at all, and even more so more than 50cc. And here we took a 125cc SYM with large wheels and a spacious seat for two, which allowed my husband and me to make a big week-long trip to the sights of Armenia. Yes, the average speed is low - about 60 km. per hour. But the roads of Armenia are not very good in places and you don't want to fly along them. And you want to take a leisurely look at the gorgeous views along the way.
Secondly, many thanks to the owner of the scooters, Kristina. She is from Russia herself and everything is clear and in order. A contract is being drawn up for the rental of a scooter. The equipment itself is well maintained and does not fail. The latter is very important, because 700 km away. Traveling we met ONE!! a motorcycle, and a scooter in small towns was looked at as a miracle, almost with their mouths open. Locals do not understand this type of transport from the word at all.
We are overwhelmed with impressions of the trip and many thanks to Kristina for allowing it to take place!
