A beautiful university. We stayed there for a long time and stayed at night. It is very encouraging to study. There is a lot of different space for independent and group work. There is a hostel nearby. And there is a hostel on site. There are many buffets and cafes inside. A large library. There is always access to the Internet and a computer. It's like you're not in Kazakhstan, but somewhere in another country. It takes so many steps in a day that it covers more than the daily norm. It's really very big.
There is a religious lobby, my sister studied there - she came to school, graduated in a hijab. She doesn't communicate much with any of her relatives now, her husband was also picked up by the university fraternity from the same religious ones. There are no complaints about the quality of education, but I consider it a serious omission to impose a religious ideology.
Terrible University. My daughter is a freshman. The adviser does not contact students at all. Many teachers are worthy of respect, but there is an incompetent teacher among them. Distance learning is a complete failure.
The university is cool, but there are a lot of disadvantages.1) there is a portal through which students put their lessons, but when it comes time to put the portal crashes, and when you press the confirm button it is not pressed and then when you find out that it has not been pressed and registration is already closed, they ask you for money.2) all employees except teachers are very terrible, if you want to solve any issues, then go straight to the director, because these fools will not be able to solve anything.3) everything works through connections here, but there was no such problem before, because now there are not Turks but Kazakhs on top. So think before you come here (Until they solve these problems)
I worked here for 5 years as a senior lecturer at the Department of Information Systems. During these 5 years of work, SDU has become like a second family to me. Good university, good atmosphere, great food.
Hello. As an engineering student, I will try not to be verbose. :-)
The advantages are the following:
1) Decent education.
2) The atmosphere at the university is not comparable to any university in the KZ.
3) Excellent student-teacher relationship.
4) Even on picnics, etc., no university gathers so amicably.
5) The cantin (dining room) will be your place of residence for the first two courses, and maybe even all 4 years of study.
A very good university was there in the camp, they feed very tasty , an excellent campus , the territory is just huge , what you need for interactive games ❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️
It's a great place, I study there, it's one of the best universities in Kazakhstan. In the photos of the "technopark of the university". Take it off after completing a machine learning course with an instructor from MIT.
