Great hotel. There is no beach of its own. There is a sandbar nearby. The hotel is on a low cliff. I liked the pier, which goes far out to sea. For a small tip, you will have dinner on the pier. From it, you can enter the sea by steps. This slightly compensates for the ebb. Yes, the tides are strong here, the water goes far away, but you can walk along the shelf with its inhabitants. Beautiful, well-maintained territory. Treatment of rooms against mosquitoes every day.
In general, the impressions from the rest are mixed, but now I will briefly try to explain everything. The hotel is excellent, I think that by the standards of Zanzibar it is one of the best. The view from the room was very beautiful- sea view for a small additional fee. I also want to thank the chef separately, we were told that he is from Paris. The food at Sea Cliff was especially pleasing every day! Moreover, breakfast and dinner were enough for the eyes. The pools are very beautiful, but I don't like swimming in them at all. They are perfect for Instagram photos without a doubt. We went to play tennis - the courts there are not very good. The concrete coating, painted in acid-green color, was heated even under the harsh 35 degree African to unthinkable temperatures. As a result, it was unrealistic to play tennis, and in the evening various reptiles began to crawl out, lemurs jumped out of the bushes, and flying dogs hovered over their heads. In short, you can't play tennis there. And finally, the most important thing - what we came to rest for is the beach! He is not here, there is a very strange Pier on which you need to walk for a long time and catch when there is a sea, because there are constant tides, which, among other things, are not supported by any logical routine. The sea leaves when it wants and comes the same way. And the second beach there is quite far away next to the golf courses, we went there once and did not appear there again. Horses were bathed on it (we did a photo shoot with them), the beach resembled the beach in my grandmother's village, although we even had a better one there... And the ocean was just some kind of puddle. In short, a beach holiday turned out to be nothing in fact. Overall, I rate the hotel at 7/10
Very good quality service, delicious food, beautiful pleasant and peaceful environment.
There are disadvantages and advantages.
Not a bad hotel, beautiful and clean area. Very strong tides and mediocre food in restaurants spoil the overall impression. But on this coast, and for this price, you can hardly find anything better
