We decided with my wife to spend the weekend in nature, in silence and solitude. We decided to go to the Berezinsky Nature Reserve. Only one room in the Serguch hotel complex was available for the coming weekend. The room was a premium double room, breakfast was included. The cost is 252 bel rubles (in the region of 7000 Russian rubles) per day. Of course it's expensive, but we really wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle, so we decided- well, not every day, and even in a premium room! And here we are! At the reception, we were met by a good-natured girl who explained everything to us, showed us breakfast, which was no different from the usual homemade one, and offered to pay 10 BEL extra. rub and take an improved breakfast. We agreed. The room turned out to be quite good, with two rooms, a bathroom, in general, it seems like the first impression is not bad. Well, then it's a complete disappointment... There is a zoo and a couple of museums on the territory of the complex, in my opinion nature and honey. We decided to visit the zoo, but since it was hot that day, we couldn't see anyone except a bear, a rabbit, a couple of pigs, birds in a cage and a swan. We did not go to museums, as we visited them a few years ago. That's all! And there's nothing else to do here. There is no infrastructure for independent recreation, except gazebos. Cycling and hiking trails only with a guide, or on the territory of the reserve. But there is nothing to see here. Maybe a sawmill, but who is interested in it... Therefore, we got into the car and drove to the nearest hotel complex "Smoothly". I will not describe the territory of this complex, I will only say that we really liked it there! But let's go back to Serguch. We decided to have lunch at the restaurant. Outwardly, everything is decent, but the menu turned out to be very meager. Salads, mashed potatoes, buckwheat porridge, shingles and something else. We took a salad and the shingles paid 42 bel.rub (1200 RUB), and realized that we definitely do not want to have dinner here. By the way, the so-called "improved " breakfast did not impress us either. Now about the room! I have already written that the room is large and it is clear that the renovation was done here recently. The bedroom has an air conditioner, but after two hours of operation, condensate began to drip from the air conditioner onto the floor. I haven't seen this before, so I had to turn it off... The sockets in the bedroom are located behind the bedside tables. In order to turn on the chargers, I had to move them away. There are no sockets in the bathroom, and we didn't find them in the hallway either. There is a huge kitchen in the living room, but it is unclear for what purpose! There is no gas stove or hob. There is not a single outlet on the kitchen panel, and the set of dishes is minimal. There is a refrigerator near the kitchen, there is no outlet near the refrigerator. From the middle of the room, where the nearest outlet is located, an extension cord is stretched, which lies on the kitchen countertop and includes a refrigerator and an electric kettle. Moreover, it is even visually visible that this fire safety extension cord is not suitable for these purposes. The sofa was not laid out in the room. As a result, we were dissatisfied with the rest in this complex. We believe that if you take such money, you must provide a person with decent conditions for recreation. Yes, someone was relaxing in the gazebo with a drink and it was good for him! I agree, you can do that, but then the room should cost 50-70 bel rubles, and anyone who wants to drink vodka in nature will be happy to come to you. And if you want to develop this area in terms of tourism, then you need to seriously think about infrastructure and service! And another unpleasant thing... When we were served breakfast, there was a chip on the tea mug, which we noticed a girl who, as we understood, alone performed the function of both a cook and a waitress... So the answer finished us off- "I had nothing else to serve!" I have no more words, as well as the desire to come there...
The food is delicious. The portions are large, the products are fresh. Inexpensive. The service is sincere, friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is nothing even to say about nature - a nature reserve.
At the hotel for the second time. Not bad, clean, well maintained. The room has everything you need. Only the air conditioner didn't work. The hotel has a restaurant where you can book breakfast, lunch and dinner. They cook well, but it's not worth the price. But since there are no other establishments nearby, you don't have to choose. Breakfast is included in the price, you can choose from 4 options, each of which is usually a salad and a main course, plus tea. Coffee for a fee. The portion is small. So if you like to have a hearty breakfast, then you need to order something else.
There is a bar where you can buy liqueurs and other spirits. In the evenings, after 22, music plays here and vacationers gather. Also, locals often relax in the bar, who do not always behave adequately.
There is a zoo next to the hotel. If it's hot outside, I don't advise you to go there, since all the animals will hide in the shade and you just look at the empty enclosures.
As for the excursions, they are not particularly interesting. They say there is a good guide, but we have never come across him. We went to the ecotrope with a young guide, who just made a march through the territory, providing his race with basic information. By the end of the tour, everyone was walking by themselves, walking just around the territory. Be sure to take something from mosquitoes, there are a lot of them.
