By the way, the locals love this place and spend their free time here playing board games. There are many shops and cafes. Great views. Everything is very Georgian. In my Uralian opinion, this cannot be called a bathhouse: there is no steam, it is humid, it is warm enough. I gave 10lari for a visit to the sauna and a scarab massage, and 20lari for a liter of tea!!!! These aunties are awesome! Don't get fooled by their suggestions. I was in the Colorful Baths, also known as the Orbelian bath. This is the most notable institution, which looks like an Uzbek madrasah. It is lined with blue tiles, and to the left of the entrance there is a plaque with a quote from Pushkin. Guides often say that Pushkin washed here.
Once inside, you can immediately book your room and visit time using a large electronic schedule or ask the administrator to do it for you. Do not hesitate for a long time, there are many people who want to visit, and there are few rooms.
I must say right away that this is the most expensive bathhouse, but also the newest and most beautiful. You won't get the expected effect at one time — you won't get younger and you won't heal your knees. But you will get an idea of what a real sulfur bath is.
At first, we had a very hot bath. We couldn't go in there for a long time, because our heart was telling us and tapping that it was dangerous. I recommend setting the temperature right away to avoid such situations.
Do not spare money for peeling (scrubbing), otherwise your visit to the bathhouse will be like if you dipped into a hot pot. Sheets, slippers and towels are not included in the price, but they can be purchased for an additional fee. I cleaned the star for the boiling water in the bathroom and for the half hour that we waited for it to cool down. It is necessary to warn about this!

The room had a relaxation area, a Finnish sauna, a massage and scrubbing area and, in fact, the pool itself with sulfur water. There is also sulfur water from the taps in the shower (there is no fresh water). Оооооо!!!! Это моё самое любимое место в старом Тбилиси. Всем, кто собирается посетить Грузию я настоятельно рекомендую посетить это место. Причём, с выбором нужно будет постараться. Я лично посещал серные бани, в которые ходят местные, не для туристов. Горячая серная вода, савдэповский стиль- всё это приводит к необычным ощущениям. Хочу отметить чай, который подавали в чайничке с зелёным лимоном, похожем на лайм. Этот вкус чая сложно забыть.

Место, обязательное к посещению, одна из важнейших фишек Тбилиси! После реконструкции эти серные бани , и до того бывшие феноменом города в самом его историческом центре, составят достойную конкуренцию известнейшим баням мира (хотя ценник и вырос в несколько раз за последние несколько лет). Здесь и культурный опыт, и невероятная релаксация. Обязательно рекомендую скраб-массаж (оплачивается отдельно). После окончания сессии можно выпить чайку и перекусить. Еще надо иметь в виду , что в районе несколько разных бань (лично я была в бане, построенной узбекскими князьями с характерным экстерьером, где, кстати, бывал Пушкин - очень атмосферная! ), можно походить и выбрать, какая понравится больше

Есть несколько вариантов релаксации: общий душ и вип. Я посетила общую за 6 лари. Несколько открытых отсеков с душем, потолок в мозаике. Вроде бы ничего особенного. Но получаешь удовольствие от понимания исторической самобытности места, ну и, конечно, от волшебного действия воды с лёгким запахом сероводорода! После душа получила такое расслабление, что еле переставляла ноги до дома))) рекомендую делать контрасты по температуре воды: холодную, теплую, горячую! При желании за доп.плату можно нанять банщицу/банщика своего пола.
