the pearl of Armenia - large lake wiich seems to be even a sea.evry hour has its beauty .for long stay visit I prefer eastern cost speacially Avan Marag Tsapatagh Tufenkyan hotel
The views are simply wonderful!
There are booths where you can change clothes (Soviet design)
There is a cafe, all of the same type, the prices, in my opinion, are high, we took assorted fish (trout, lula, sturgeon (probably local)) , also beef lula 2 servings, all together we got 44,000 drams.
The restrooms are clean and free.
You can rent individual houses, I can't tell you the cost, we didn't specify it.
We visited monasteries. We took a lot of cool photos with a view of Sevan, you definitely need to take guided tours, there is a very rich history here. A must-visit place of power
The pearl of Armenia. A very beautiful lake with beautiful surroundings. I was on the Sevan Peninsula, where there are churches on the top of the hill. There is a wonderful view of the lake from there
A great place to meet the sunrise or sunset!!!What clean air, and how soothing, The energy of the temple is very positive! But there are a lot of beggars, it's very annoying.
The lake is very beautiful and very cold, we couldn't swim in August, the water seemed too cold. But as a place to relax from the sweltering Yerean heat, it is wonderful. Chaotic sloppy buildings on the coast, a huge number of abandoned buildings and an abundance of garbage create a depressing impression.
We were in October, the strongest wind was blowing, but that made the lake no less beautiful. There is nothing much to do outside the season, just look at the lake and another temple. Souvenirs and cafes are everywhere as usual. We went to eat from the main place deep into the territory, 10 minutes on foot, a free-standing cafe and a wine shop. A cafe with good quality and taste of food and an acceptable price tag.
Great place, very beautiful views. You can take a boat ride on the lake and climb the observation deck to the temple.
The impression was spoiled only by a cheater in the parking lot, he demanded 2000 drams for candles, otherwise "they won't let you in", while this person had nothing to do with parking, but it became scary for the safety of the car and had to pay. Of course, no one asked for candles anywhere, don't fall for it)
One of the most beautiful places on earth 🌸
The view is simply mesmerizing, clear clear water, there are many places around where you can eat delicious food)
Very beautiful nature. The lake is blue and clean...but it's cold (for me). People swim and sunbathe. There is a large selection of silver products on the market. As such, there are very few cafes and restaurants, two or three.
I advise you to definitely go here 👍
Sooo beautiful! I recommend going when visiting Armenia. We took a local bus, it turned out to be very budget-friendly. The lake is cool, so you can swim. Carefully (!) - the beach is rocky, the coast and near the shore are all covered in stones. It hurt without slippers, it was uncomfortable in slippers))
A good lake, except for a bad entry into the water, rocks, and in places it is stranded for a very long time, floating jet skis are a little annoying, otherwise everything is fine, locker rooms are made, restaurants, sun beds are available, I can not vouch for all the beaches of this lake, but the Garden Inn hotel has everything as described above. Fishing from the shore, it seems to me, there is no fishing, only from a boat.
A very significant place to visit in Armenia. A very large freshwater lake. I recommend you to visit, beautiful nature.

If this is your first time in Armenia, then you should definitely go to Sevan with a good guide. For Sevan is not only about its beauty and power. These are incredible stories about the peninsula that was once an island, about the Sevan whitefish and sea buckthorn forests, about one of the 16 unusual khachkars, about the monastery, about the Battle of Sevan and Ashot the Iron, about Princess Mariam... In general, amazing discoveries for you.
We were traveling from Yerevan to Tbilisi, on the right along the way there is a lake. The water is cold, few people swim. There are many viewing platforms, there is a place to stay. The color of the water is extraordinary!
Sevan is a magical lake, or as we Armenians call it: our sea! It attracts, it falls in love and does not want to let go.. After you visit at least once, you will dream of coming here again and again..
It's a great place, very beautiful, and the water in the lake is just mesmerizing! A great place to relax - sunbathe, swim, go for a ride, I liked everything, I advise you!
The minimum set of amenities. We changed clothes on the shore, we had to figure out how to put on / take off a swimsuit. There are umbrellas, but they are very small. I constantly had to move the chaise longue to stay in the shade. The entrance to the water is inconvenient, large sharp cobblestones. There is a jetty with jet skis nearby. It is very unpleasant when they drive off almost over their heads and dock among the swimmers.

Sevan is always good and beautiful, from which side and in what weather you do not approach it. It's always a little chilly, so it's always better to have a sweater or windbreaker in stock, except in July and August, and it's not a fact that it will be superfluous.
