Wonderful theater, wonderful performances. It feels like you're transported back to Shakespeare's time as soon as you get inside. I am very pleased that they are making all the necessary efforts to keep the Globe in a state quite close to how it looked hundreds of years ago. Globe is not like the theaters we are used to with embroidered curtains, mosaics on the ceilings (there is no ceiling above the "ground floor" in the Globe, in principle), stucco and other attributes of chic theaters of later eras. But that's the beauty of it.
