It's an interesting place, but only when there's nowhere else to go. I recommend visiting Fort Ajman. Very informative.

If there is nothing to do, then you can go in, kill an hour and a half of time. But I didn't find anything interesting there. Although taking into account the limited number of interesting activities in Sharjah, this is one of the main tourist attractions.
P.S. Students and people over 65 (at the reception I must say that you are a "senior") admission is free.
