In Sharjah Intl Airport , Ira was such good experience , I always transit through Sharjah AirPort, their The Lounge service was really good and atmospheric to relax !
Everything is great. Fast service, great duty free, greetfull passport control with lovely ladies working there. Enjoyed our waiting for our flight. Also great lounge which added extra points to my review
What a bestial attitude to passengers, they specially seat passengers among themselves, if you are flying with a company, you know, you will not sit next to them. But the most disgusting thing is how it is necessary to disregard passengers, so that a 6-year-old child can be planted separately from a parent. What are you thinking there? Why should a child be stressed by not being able to fly next to a parent. Why the norms are not observed that the child should sit next to the parent. The staff of the aircraft does not solve this problem, it is clearly calculated that one of the passengers would change places with you, feeling sorry for the child.
About food, this is a separate story, the food is spicy, if it can still be called food, they give sandwiches (from which the mouth burns with pepper), which look like dog food, or you can order doshirak from them, excellent food for adults and children, for the purchase of gastritis. Even a glass of water was not given, buy it.
It is very interesting, if an Arab flies this airline, will he also be put away from the child?like the other passengers?
It's a small airport, clean and tidy.
There are not many brands represented in duty free, everything is basic (cosmetics, perfume, coffee, alcohol, cigarettes and even electronic devices).
Please note that to get to some gates, you need to re-inspect your hand luggage and belongings, and there is a queue, so just in case, do not delay until the last boarding gate.
There are various coffee shops and a food court. In a coffee shop, coffee is +-600₽, food is slightly more expensive. I liked that they sell sliced fruits, very convenient (25aed).
Sockets are located near the seats in the waiting area, and in some cafes they are attached to the table on request.
A small but fairly modern airport. The employees work very well, the escort in the transit area is well organized. The inspection is quick. There are quite a lot of chairs in the waiting area, there are cafes, buffets, duty free. The bathrooms are very clean. There is a playground for children in the transit area, but if the transfer is less than 6 hours, then they will not let you out of the airport (they do not recommend leaving))
A cozy and compact airport. Navigation is good, there are food outlets, but only tea/coffee and something sweet. There are shops in the duty-free zone. There are constant queues at the passport control area upon arrival, and quick registration via smart terminals on departure. Baggage check-in and baggage handling also takes a lot of time, only if you have not checked in online. The staff is good-natured, the whole area is clean enough. There is a problem with charging the phone, because triple plugs are needed. Otherwise, everything is very good.
A very comfortable, spacious, clean, air-conditioned airport. We've been in transit here almost all day. There are many toilets (and they are very clean - they clean all day long), there are prayer rooms for Muslims. There are many cafes for every taste, with reasonable prices. There is a pharmacy, currency exchange, etc. Comfortable and large waiting areas. There are consultants who can help you figure out a difficult situation.
Minus one - there are no storage rooms! We wanted to go out into the city for a walk, we had a transfer at 8 o'clock. But they didn't dare to walk in the heat with heavy backpacks. This is a big disadvantage. Otherwise, the airport is beautiful.
Positive:
1. Clean, normal enough, everything is repaired
2. There are many staff members who provide assistance on various issues, the indexes are in Russian
3. Quick registration and passing of controls
4. Quick tax refund procedure, however, I had to go through different windows and ask))
Minuses:
1. It's cold, take at least an extra jacket.
2. There are few cafes with normal food
3. There are not enough waiting areas for so many people.
4. Very small and uninteresting duty-free
5. You accidentally forgot a 0.5 liter bottle of water in your backpack from the city. They didn't notice it at the controls.... They discovered it themselves after landing.
Bottom line: as a base for the low-cost airline, which we actually flew, everything is fine.
I often fly through/to Sharjah airport. The airport itself is small, but very convenient, especially if you fly by transfer, you can easily make connections in 50 minutes between flights. The airport is kept clean, there are enough toilets, there are fountains with drinking water, sockets for charging gadgets, there are even special chairs where you can sleep between long docks. The airport staff is responsive and always ready to help. I like the fact that you don't have to run 5 kilometers from one end to the other when transferring, everything is nearby.
Customs clearance, exit to the city, baggage collection, everything is quite fast, and exit from the airport immediately to the taxi parking and bus stop, everything is thought out. Flight check-in, screening, customs clearance, everything is also very fast. There's not much duty-free service in the waiting room, but everything is basic. There is a food court. Prices, as at any airport, are slightly higher than in the city.
There are always a large number of people on transfers from different parts of the world, but somehow everything is harmonious and does not interfere.
A small airport in Sharjah. Home to the airline AirArabia. It is convenient if you arrive on vacation in Sharjah or Ajman. There is nothing special at the airport. Places are not very clean and there are a lot of people (mostly people from India, Pakistan and Southeast Asia). You can see very colorful characters. Perhaps they look at us (fair-skinned blondes) the same way we look at burning Pakistanis :))). There is not much place to eat before departure. Except for Costa Coffee, where all the food is in single packages. I recommend it.
The airport is not bad, the questions are more about Air Arabia.
It's cool in the building. There are special staff who advise/guide, all friendly.
There is little alcohol in duty free... Well, or rather average like that.
Basic duty free before the inspection, after that - just some small things.
Due to the fact that everyone is naked, the search is quick. The water was not taken away.
There are enough toilets, but some of them don't mean anything at all: you follow the sign like that, and there's a misunderstanding about two cubicles.
The food zone is sparse, but you can have a snack, the queues are only at McDonald's. This is also before the inspection.
The waiting areas are right next to each other, but I didn't notice any excitement.
A small airport, pretty clean, there are smoking areas, there are drinking fountains, INEXPENSIVE bottled water, a food court with friendly staff, there is no place to charge the phone (more precisely, there is but you need to find a WORKING outlet) the airport staff is rude, they just don't let you stand for 2 minutes, they drive you to places to wait (I'm so there and there was , but heavy hand luggage )
Spacious. Clean. There are many staff who are ready to help (unfortunately, they speak little Russian), and pointers. The toilets are clean, as they are everywhere in the Emirates, and well equipped. Fairly fast and trouble-free customs and border control.
It is located close to the city (we took a taxi to the hotel in Sharjah and back in no more than 30 minutes). Taxi screams near the exit. The nearest one has Lexus cars and drivers in suits and white shirts. Their prices are 3-4 times more expensive than the Toyotas located 20 meters behind it
A huge airport. There are a lot of different shops in it, a huge duty-free and a large selection on the food court. There is something to do while waiting for a long transfer. Toilets at every turn) But there are not enough sun beds, I had to fight for a place))))
There are a lot of people, but if you look closely, you can see very beautiful moments (in one of the photos, the ceiling vault of the airport).
There is a wonderful airport, everything is perfectly organized, flows are correctly directed, there are prayer places, places of ablution, everything is clean, polite staff. There are many lounges where you can wait for your flight.
There are many duty-free boutiques, everything is correct during the inspection
A very modern airport.
Everything is comfortable and conveniently located. You can purchase SIM cards for local calls, as well as everything you need for a flight!
We passed through passport control pretty quickly, and our suitcases were already waiting for us when we left.
The airport is compact, everything would be faster with our check-in and baggage collection, and, importantly, our knowledge of English (at the hello-bye level))), it would be much faster. It took us 50 minutes to understand the check-in desk, and after all the operations, the luggage was already waiting for us with an airport employee))). In general, everything is comfortable, except for the Russian-speaking staff, but this is not necessary).
We were at this airport for a transfer
An excellent modern airport, the staff helped several times with navigation, and when they started to be late, they escorted them straight to the plane.
We passed the border check very quickly and promptly.
Shops start right after the border zone and you can also buy a SIM card.
Convenient transport interchange and you can take a bus to the city.
I also want to express my special gratitude to the business lounge, a large assortment of food and drinks.
Overall, we were very impressed with this airport.
