Maybe the food here is normal, but the attitude of the staff leaves much to be desired. Maybe the manager will pay attention and something will change. What's the point: we wanted to arrange delivery from staraya Gagra (the distance from our hotel to the cafe is 3km). For the first time we visited the Shater restaurant in Gagra on the embankment next to the observation wheel. I will not describe it for a long time, I will say right away that this is the only place where the worst meat in Abkhazia was brought to us. Mutton is impossible to chew, chicken wings are generally smelly. Everything is hard-fried, in a word, it's anything but meat. It's good that a local cat was walking in the restaurant, to which we fed all the meat. One of the advantages is excellent chacha. But there is no kitchen. Draw your own conclusions

We have been vacationing in Gagra for the third year, we found out about the institution that year, it's a pity, really, at the end of the vacation. Very nice staff, excellent selection of dishes👍🏻we tried cocktails all over Gagra, but the best ones are only here 👍🏻good location, sea view, in the evening you can watch incredible sunsets 🌅 I definitely recommend it! It's great that there is such a restaurant in Gagra 🫶🏻

For an institution of this level, at least a big minus, there was no large flow of people, there were empty tables, waiting for their order, why does anyone except the waiter come to the table at all and why do we have to explain that we are waiting for an order, and not just sitting, and in general, why can't you just sit when you already Did you eat what you ordered?

Very tasty. We tried almost all the menus. Surprisingly, there is the most delicious Adjarian khachapuri in all of Gagra. The children ate pizza, rustic potatoes, milkshakes and ice cream. Everything is fresh, the music is chill. Thanks a lot to the waiter Alexey, from the first day he told us everything and recommended a cool DJ in the evenings, even if you don't want to dance, you can listen to it.

We had breakfast and dinner at this cafe during our vacation in Gagra. Very tasty and hearty breakfasts, excellent Oriental coffee, the service was also pleasant! We tried almost all the hot dishes😅 And in the evenings, a DJ works there, mixes tracks just bombically, we had a great time! Rested body and soul! There are more such places in Abkhazia! And special thanks to the waiter Alexey - he always fulfilled all requests and orders quickly!

We had a rest in Gagra in August 2022 at the Bella Hotel, it is located across the street from Shater. We had lunch 5 or 6 times, it was always delicious! Fast service, but sometimes harsh. I liked tapas, salad with falafel, Thai and salad with pickled salmon, Adjarian khachapuri (Boat). Very tasty kebabs 👍👍👍The trout is inedible. Delicious cocktails. The atmosphere is super, very beautiful both day and evening)). The only wish is to add local wines, Ashta Lasha, for example, because it is impossible to drink those local wines that are on the menu.

We were on 07/15.23. We arrived at 20:00, we did not book a table in advance, there were practically no seats available, so it's better to take care of this in advance. At first they were put in a bad place, but due to the lateness of other guests, they were transferred to the best, right by the embankment.
For food: We ordered spaghetti Tent, French fries, rolls and homemade lemonade. The spaghetti was from Tom yam, so it turned out to be very spicy, be careful with that. The potatoes are excellent, the rolls baked in the region of 500 rubles for 8 pieces are delicious, quite large. Homemade berry lemonade is also great.
According to the staff: there are a lot of waiters, so even with a full landing, all the dishes were brought quickly. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. We waited for the dishes for a maximum of 10 minutes, there are no problems here.
Music: terribly loud. We were sitting in the far corner of the restaurant, but even there she prevented us from enjoying dinner and we couldn't hear the person opposite at the table. He's yelling at the whole embankment. The music is club music, there is a DJ, light music, a spacious dance floor.
The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and stylish. In the evening, cozy lanterns are turned on in the trees. In addition to the usual tables, there is also an ottoman with small tables.
The location is gorgeous, right by the waterfront.
In general, we were satisfied with the evening, we recommend it.

I don't know why he has such high marks-because this is an ordinary coastal cafe, open type, without fans and irrigation with water, even about mobile air conditioners, I'm generally silent... I stood there for a couple of minutes, and I couldn't even study the menu - it was very hot. It's still a pleasure to sit in an institution sweating...(it was the beginning of July)
Therefore, I can't say anything about the menu, the lack of comfort has done its job.
I can't imagine how the staff works there in such conditions...
