In the second week, as the staff found out, the composition of the breakfast changed, only one version of porridge remained, fruits and nuts were removed. There was no baking. Peas, olives and vegetables were removed (almost all vegetables were removed, I saw only tomatoes and cucumbers, and then not every day). If you close your eyes to breakfast, then this is a great place.

Thanks for the hot water and the good maid work with the replacement of consumables. But the view, yes, it's great, but it's probably better not to come here next time for it.

I visit Almaty on business trips. The Shera Hotel is located within walking distance from the office, so I chose it as a standard place to stay. It is also located near the main street of Al-Farabi and the Dostyk Plaza shopping center.
The last time I was in Almaty was from October 17-20, 22, before that (due to the pandemic) in 2019. The once beloved hotel has "passed" very much. Repairs have not been done for a long time, part of the lobby area was sublet, the kitchen was badly damaged.
In the shower, the tiles on the floor were laid with a clear violation of the levels, the water does not drain. To fix the flaw a little, we put one slab on the floor, which acts as a ramp. But it doesn't help for long, the water quickly fills the shower stall. Superior room, 11th floor.
I ordered regular tea with honey and dinner in the room. Dinner is not very fresh. The burger could be "tapped", the bread and filling were so dry. Tea is not saturated (tea is a popular national drink in Kazakhstan), honey seems to be diluted with water.
