One of the monasteries that must be visited is the Shio-Mgvim Monastery. It is located in a picturesque gorge. An active monastery, a wonderful place of grace where you can worship the grave of St. Shio Mgvimsky.

I was impressed by the beauty of the place!!! If you are in Mtskheta, it is definitely worth a visit... A simple but very beautiful Temple, well-maintained territory, very few casual tourists

Shio Mgvimeli, one of the 13 Syrian fathers, founders of the Orthodox Church of Georgia. Along with David of Garej and others. Georgia deeply honors the holy faith. Worthy of all respect !!!
