Our stay at the Shirvanshah Hotel left only the most pleasant impressions! The hotel fits perfectly into the atmosphere of the old part of Baku, which is unique in itself and full of memories from Soviet films. Every corner of the Old Town is steeped in history, and the Shirvanshah Hotel harmoniously complements this look with its stylistics inspired by the spirit of the past.
The rooms are excellent — cozy, spacious, with carefully selected interior details that create an atmosphere of antiquity, but at the same time with modern comfort. I would especially like to mention the kitchen on the top floor of the hotel: delicious dishes cooked with soul, combined with a view of the city, is a real gastronomic and visual delight. And from the veranda there is a beautiful view of the whole city.
I would like to express special gratitude to the hotel staff. Cultured, well—mannered, attentive to every guest - they made our stay truly comfortable and unforgettable.
Shirvanshah Hotel is an ideal choice for those who want not only to relax, but also to feel the atmosphere of the Old City of Baku. We will definitely come back here again and recommend this place to anyone who is planning a trip to Baku!
Nice little hotel in the old town, with a summer garden on the third floor. Very friendly and nice staff, Russian-speaking, will always help if necessary. On the 4th floor there is a restaurant, breakfast is also very good, excellent coffee is prepared on request.
The rooms are large, there are all bath accessories, if necessary, they will bring an iron with an ironing board, a hairdryer, a kettle, cups, tea and coffee are all available in the room.
Good location near the metro, all the sights of the city are within walking distance.
Thanks to the hotel, the staff and the city of Baku!
A nice hotel, located in the old city of Baku.Except that the location of the rooms is like in a maze, since they are located in different parts of the building and the elevators open from two sides, a normal challenge is to find your room when you return tired😆
A wonderful hotel. It is located in the old town. Within walking distance. Excellent breakfasts. Beautiful view from the top floor. Friendly people. The rooms are clean.
The hotel is located in the Old Town. It's just the thing for walking. It is also close to the metro station. Icheri Sheher station. The staff knows Russian. The attitude is very friendly. The restaurant with a good view is located on the 4th floor. On the second floor there is a gym sauna and a small swimming pool. It was a little chilly in the room. For a taxi, access is a bit difficult. And so we were satisfied. I recommend.
Large rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff!! Nice sauna. The old town - and that says it all, 5 minutes to many attractions, there is a shop nearby. No comments like "something doesn't work". I recommend.
Delicious and varied breakfasts!
The hotel is a bit old.
The breakfasts are very good. The location is super.
There are not enough underfloor heating or a heated towel rail in the bathroom.
It's cold in the shower.
Convenient location in the old town and close to the main attractions. There is a small font, a Finnish sauna and a hammam. They are included upon prior request for 40 minutes. The rooms are comfortable. But I didn't like the breakfasts. The porridge is very liquid and over-sweetened, you can't take it in your mouth. There is no coffee machine. The sausage is sometimes cherished. The pastries are also not delicious, there were no croissants. But the restaurant itself has a panoramic view. We went to dinner, the order on the menu is quite tasty. There is no alcohol. But they allowed me to bring wine with me.
The location is 5+, the guys at the reception are 5+. Breakfasts: every morning, a lovely woman cooked with her soul, even without much variety, but very tasty. But there has never been a cleaning in 5 days.
Just arrived, the room is dusty and dirty. Cosmetics were given out only on demand, thank God soap and brushes were given out every day after the complaint. The cleaning was bad. The audibility is terrible. The furniture in the restaurant was moved overhead several times every day, they escaped only on the street. The food is tasteless. It seems like everything is at breakfast, but it doesn't taste good. Due to the early departure, we asked for a lunchbox breakfast. They were served like beggars, had to be left at the hotel. Let them eat themselves.
The only staff at the reception is kind and that's it.... I do not recommend it for this price
The location is excellent, the breakfasts are terrible, the rooms are clean, but the noise insulation is not what, you can hear everything that happens on the street and behind the next wall.
Not a bad hotel in the old town.
The staff is friendly and friendly
The room was not ready for check-in, I had to wait
The room itself was a little tired, part of the wallpaper was torn off in the shower (dada, it's not a tile in the shower, but something similar to wallpaper rather)
The sound insulation is disgusting
A wonderful hotel - responsive, friendly staff; excellent location - in the heart of the old town; a new, fresh, stylish hotel with cozy rooms, a restaurant with sea views, a varied, delicious breakfast; a garden on the terrace overlooking the flame towers; sauna, hammam, fitness, swimming pool - everything your heart desires.
Great hotel. New. Worth the money. The restaurant offers beautiful views of Baku.
Located in the old town. That's what you need to start exploring the city.
The air conditioner works quietly and honestly.
The place is 10+, the Staff is 10+, the atmosphere is 10+.
Be sure to consider this option. We really liked it. We wanted to stand for one day, but stayed for three.
I really liked the hotel! Minimalistic combination of stone, wood and textiles. A snow-white business and towels. Delicious breakfasts and a stunning view on the terrace!
After the eviction, I left my phone in the room, I realized only halfway to the airport. Our phone was returned. Thanks!
Great hotel in the old town, the location is super! The staff is responsive, attentive, especially the girl at the reception, ready to connect with the solution of any of your questions.
The location is very convenient, the breakfasts are excellent, the staff is friendly, unobtrusive. In general, it's very good!

I give two stars only to the staff, who were always polite and ready to help
The price does not correspond absolutely. The breakfasts are about nothing, the cherished slicing (if you cut it in a day, you can cover it with a film) the desserts are tasteless, porridge with lumps, there are no croissants, the toaster seems to have survived the war ... something can be eaten of course, but for 5 stars generally disgusting breakfasts
Cleaning- they seem to come in every day, but
The carpets are dirty and in Black Hair (I'm blonde)
The garbage is not taken out, it is not cleaned, the bed linen is torn in places, traces of stains on the carpet, the bathrobes are no longer white at all.. water was always supplied - there is a plus and Wi-Fi works well
It's noisy from the street during the day, you won't rest
Nice spa, but the pool water is greasy
Shampoo and gel are like fairies.. They didn't even use it. I had to buy
The beds are separate, and it is hardly possible to connect them

terrible rooms, the air conditioner does not work, the thermometer in the room shows +29 degrees, the bed is on its word of honor, someone's hair was in the sink and shower when checking in, the rooms were smoky
The breakfasts are not edible, nor is the restaurant on the top floor. In general, a typical 2-star hostel
