A great place for family holidays in summer, for athletes in winter. 2 levels of cable car ascent , the height is more than 3000 above sea level. It is very beautiful on the top where there is always snow and fog at any time periodically. There are a lot of foreigners. Everyone who came to Almaty is worth a visit. 5++

You can get there by bus and by car. There is a lot of parking space, but for a fee. There is a help desk, a shop and many ticket offices for buying tickets for the cable car.

There are ticket offices at the bottom of the Medeo, where you can buy tickets for skiing, ski passes and for hikers. If you go to the end, to the pass, it is better to take a ticket here at once, and not in two steps, on the Cimbulak 😁👌

we went with a friend for the weekend, who is a disabled person of group 1, at the ticket office they sold us a ticket for her also for the full price, they said that the benefits do not apply. We were very disappointed, because in principle, I believe that benefits should apply to people with disabilities, regardless of time and day. Also, the complex itself, as well as the restaurants, did not have a toilet and facilities for the disabled.

Ticket offices open with a long delay, which causes long queues, in particular for pensioners. In my case, the cards required reinitialization, since the existing printed WTP numbers did not match the internal actual ones, possibly after the introduction of QR codes on the cards and possible failures in the database. Anyway, I couldn't make an online payment for 3 cards that our Family has been using for a long time (he writes that there are no such numbers in the database). In general, we had to stand in a long queue for the cashier to initialize and print out new WTP numbers, and this despite the fact that only one cashier is working. To do this, I had to go to the Medeo ticket office. The question is: that it is impossible to organize an Administrative point in the city to resolve disputes (there is no question about online payment). Feedback regarding the operation of the ticket offices.

I really liked the cable car, but the prices bite terribly! I didn't like that the booths at the entrance move abruptly, it's dangerous with kids. There are plenty of photographers. The prices are expensive and the quality of the photo does not shine except for the mail if you ask for it, because when printing the image is distorted, but this is because of the printer, it's funny when they save on it. I won't take any more photos there.
