The bazaar is a brave thing if you go alone. Bargain! The price should be divided by 3, or even more, and if they are not inferior, turn around and leave! Catch up)
The best bazaar in Uzbekistan in terms of aesthetics and organization, but in five years prices have risen to a level higher than Chorsu bazaar in Tashkent
Compared to Chorsu in Tashkent, I liked the Siab market in Samarkand more. Chorsu is bigger, but uncomfortable, dirty. They took spices, dried melon, fresh fruits, in particular lemons with thin skins. For souvenirs of Samarkand halva in boxes (20 tons each). But what I liked the most was the pomegranate juice that is squeezed in front of you. The normal price is 10 t. sum. (although at first, 20 may be voiced). In other places, including Tashkent, it is more expensive.
You can buy sweets, they are all in one place, to the left of the main entrance. There are spices; if you go deeper, then there is an ordinary market. Souvenirs to the right of the entrance along the fence, where you can bargain, sellers are interested. Then there is also a row with souvenirs and plates, but the sellers did not even come there when I entered the store. You can buy pomegranate juice, 10 thousand. For a bottle. There are several cafes and a tea house.

A very expensive attraction for tourists and apparently for European ones. You can buy nuts and spices for small things. Locals say they go to the bazaar outside the city.
A very good bazaar, everything is there, inexpensive. We ate delicious pilaf, bought a beautiful banana and it was very expensive. Good people trade, they are very responsive and kind.
Siab Bazaar is the largest and oldest bazaar in Samarkand! Of course, it is famous for Samarkand tortillas and sweets. It was here that I bought nuts - incredibly delicious! Just keep in mind, prices here are twice as high as in Tashkent!
There is a large selection of products. I like to go there for groceries and always smell fresh. You can find everything from a needle to a thread.

Take care of your pocket from beggars! No matter how you bargain, sellers will not be offended, so you can safely ask to double the price tag. A wide variety of oriental sweets and spices. I recommend it as a place to buy souvenirs, and as an interesting trading experience. The main thing is not to overdo the bargaining and remain polite.
I was not impressed. Israel, Turkey, Bahrain look more interesting. It's like in Armenia, only the prices are higher, for some reason. (Before the auction). Bidding is 2 times.
A great bazaar, you can buy something, or just take a walk, the assortment is excellent, from socks to meat, toys, groceries, things, small things for the house and even household appliances. Good location, you can walk to historical monuments.
