A wonderful point of attraction. Prices are lower than in Tashkent. Bowls made of baked clay can be bought for 25-30 thousand soums. If you go with a local, it will be even cheaper. Spices are just a bomb
It is interesting to walk around the oriental bazaar, a large selection of fruits, nuts and spices. The prices are slightly inflated, but if you bargain, they easily discount. An excellent and inexpensive cafe with national cuisine next to the clothing market near the bus stop.
The bazaar is magnificent! It is always good to come to a place where locals shop, and not to a place designed for tourists. Of course, I'm not at all sure that we were told the real prices. It seems that everyone understands trading very well here) But even in this case, counting on "ours", we realized that we were paying much less than at home.
It's a colorful place, I like to visit markets in different countries, it's definitely worth a visit.
Souvenirs are cheaper here than in other places, you can bargain
As in all markets, they fool from the bottom of their hearts, they lie without hesitation, they pester. Separately, they are annoying - gypsies are beggars, and money changers are clingers.
An elderly man with magnets and adult nut sellers are the only ones who are pleasant to deal with
It was late in the evening, after the official closing. The market is working. This is a plus. But unfortunately, there are no dairy products on the market that we came for.
A small market, there is everything you need, products, things, souvenirs and national items are also available, there are appliances and dishes, in general everything is there.
The market is good, there is a large selection of fruits, vegetables, sweets, halva, spices, spices. You can buy saffron, but it's better to ask for Iranian. You can bargain. If you are a tourist, it is better to go around the entire market and find a place where the local population buys food. These are the best products.
The classic market. There are a lot of classic local souvenirs and just products. It won't work for a long walk, but it's very possible to see or buy a beautiful set of dried fruits or dishes once. The choice is huge, more than anywhere else seen.
This is an amazingly atmospheric place. The layout of fruits and vegetables, the amount of spices and dried fruits is simply amazing. Be sure to visit. Be sure to bargain.
Very colorful, authentic atmosphere, and if you do not pay attention to the mountains of Chinese consumer goods, exotic lovers will always find something interesting. I bought a cool Uzbek tambourine for my child. I will not mention the price - it is ridiculous in comparison with the same instrument in a music store.
The oldest bazaar in the region. A huge selection of ceramics and spices. In the center there is an old teahouse with inexpensive and delicious cuisine. Be sure to visit and do not forget to bargain!

The Oriental Bazaar is a unique place. They speak Russian, friendly vendors, fruits, vegetables, spices for every taste. Bargaining is appropriate)) but they didn't find any oriental sweets, just ordinary halva. But the green tea is delicious.
You will see the flavor of the oriental bazaar, spices, textiles, a scattering of nuts, dishes, sweets ..... bargain to the last, of course cleanliness leaves much to be desired)
For the local flavor only here! This bazaar is saturated with the atmosphere of the East! There is everything here: from fragrant herbs, freshly baked tortillas, fruits and vegetables to souvenirs of very good quality!
A great place for tourists to buy Samarkand sweets (halva, pashmak, nougat, etc.). Clothes and souvenirs are two/three times more expensive than in Tashkent
A good bazaar. There is something more expensive, and something in some places is cheaper. We need to go and compare prices. And we also need to bargain. A huge selection of everything.
Traditional bazaar, food for locals, everything else (dried fruits, souvenirs, nuts) for tourists. Excellent fruits, local tortillas. It is better to buy sweets not on the shelves, but in stores around the perimeter of the market.
I recommend a visit. The flavor of the East, the abundance and riot of flavors and colors. If you are already used to the capital's shopping malls, then it's like diving into another world. It is very interesting and delicious.
I dreamed of visiting here and read a lot about this place.. Unfortunately, at +36 I could not appreciate this place, because it became very bad from the noise and smells. I had to retreat quickly so as not to fall there from a warm blow. But I definitely recommend it, you will definitely appreciate the color of the city and the sincerity of the sellers
Recommend.to bargain to the last. Considering that this bazaar is located next to a tourist destination, the prices there are overpriced. If you walk around the city, the same things can be found much cheaper
An expensive market, but if you come 2 hours before closing time, you can snatch the product with a good discount (life hack)! The main thing is to know what you are going for 😉
The place is beautiful all around, but the market is just tin. Just like most people there. They grab me by the arms, they run like gypsies. Prices are off the ceiling. I wanted to buy the fact, so past the price, it was said to drink here and return the bottle. Maybe this is normal for Samarkand, but for the Russian Federation it is a return to the 90s.
The classics of Samarkand, of course you need to visit. There is still a flavor, prices are cheaper than in Russian cities, I will not say that you need to bring all this with you, but it is colorful
Even if you don't like markets, it's worth visiting as a tourist attraction. Half of the city seems to have settled here. Bargain until you're blue in the face. You can have a snack and relax in the teahouse
A great market. A huge selection of various products. There are actually 2 markets: food and clothing. Sellers are adequate and friendly, but you need to be able to bargain. The Oriental market in all its glory.
A place of a wonderful combination of colors and smells!
You can buy everything from skullcaps to tortillas, by the way, I recommend buying them here, they are hot and delicious!
Buy grapes from local grandmothers, enjoy its sweet and juicy taste.
Be sure to buy some spices, their aroma will surprise you.
Finally it happened and we got to the real oriental market - Siab bazaar.
It's a miracle!
You will not find such a variety of fresh fruits, berries, sweets, nuts, spices, tea and other things anywhere else!
Everything is inexpensive, and if you bargain for nothing at all, especially after Sunday lunch.
There you can eat excellent pilaf and samsa directly from the tandoor. Kebabs are killer, especially from mutton, juicy, tender and beautiful.
I can't write: I'm salivating and I want to go there.
You can get there by taxi or open electric cars, inexpensive and fast.
We have to go!

A great place to feel the atmosphere of the oriental bazaar. There is a certain authenticity. You can buy cheap little things as souvenirs, Uzbek robes.
We did not regret that we went
One of the best markets in the city! Siab Bazaar is one of the largest and oldest bazaars in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. The area of the bazaar exceeds seven hectares. Siab Bazaar is one of the most visited places in the city by tourists.

The Oriental market in its classical representation. They sell groceries, household goods, clothes, spices, nuts. Prices for some goods (nuts) are two times lower than in Russia, but you can still bargain.
A clean market, which was very surprising!! The place is just a delight. Everything is here. We were at the end of April. There are already fresh strawberries, blackberries, potatoes, cucumbers. Seasonings are an awesome choice. And nuts . I liked sesame oil. We were with an accompanying guide. Zokir helped us with the choice, but also with the prices. Although it's not expensive anyway))
A huge bazaar in the very center of Samarkand. Together with the adjacent pavilions, this is a retail space where you can buy absolutely everything - from clothes to bicycles. It is necessary to bargain seriously, but the agreements are respected. There are a lot of professional beggars, you need to be careful. The products are fresh, the goods are shown honestly, the seller himself enjoys the bidding process. Not only useful, but also a very atmospheric place.
