An incredibly chic hotel in a wonderful location. I visited Side for the first time and the impression is only the most positive. The hotel is located almost in the very hype of the shopping area. A large number of shops to choose from. Clothes, supermarkets, various souvenirs.
By the hotel itself. The check-in was absolutely without problems, and a very cheerful hotel employee helped bring things to the room. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Cleaning is stable every day.
In the kitchen: the variety of food and drinks is off the charts, everything is edible. Lots of meat and fish. The only thing was that the watermelon and melon were as empty and tasteless as possible. But this is my subjective opinion. Overall, the kitchen is gorgeous.
By sea: the sea is literally a maximum of 5 minutes on foot. It is better to go to the sea early, as it is quite difficult to find sun beds closer to lunch. There is a bar on the beach, and you can also stay on the beach for lunch if you don't want to walk to the hotel at lunchtime.
In the evening, there are various shows and dances on the hotel grounds. It's hard to get bored.
A 5-10-minute minibus ride from the hotel is the ancient city of Side
The second coastline, the gentle entrance to the sea, the sandy beach is clean, delicious and varied food, special thanks to the chef for the baklava. The staff is not Russian-speaking, as most tourists from Europe are mainly from Germany. Two pools.
Basically everything is fine, but there are a few nuances:
1. The hotel was originally designed for vacationers from Germany, which has a pretty strong effect on the menu of all meals. I advise you to first familiarize yourself with the tastes of, at first glance, obvious dishes, because they sometimes do not correspond to Russian versions.
2. Vacationers smoke on the veranda when eating. My wife and I are non-smokers, but the smell of cigarettes, unfortunately, did not leave us.
3. The doors between the rooms and the corridor have rather poor sound insulation. If you like to go to bed before 2-3 o'clock in the morning. Then be prepared to hear the cheerful conversations of your neighbors going to the next room or meeting people outside your door. We had a couple of times that people didn't seem to want to leave and chatted for 40 minutes under the door.
4. The bar, which is open for free from morning to evening, sometimes accumulates a fairly large queue, so sometimes it makes sense to go to the store across the street, buy everything that comes to mind and go hang out in the room. The store is called A101 (this is a local store with adequate prices) and there is also a slightly more expensive store nearby - Carrefour.
5. The rooms are quite small, sometimes there are shabby pieces of furniture, but not critical. The cleaning is good, the staff is very pleasant.
A great beach, lunch on the beach is tastier than at the hotel, if you don't mind burgers, of course. There are good pools on site, but they are on the sunny side, you should not expect that in great heat you will be able to swim in the shade. The hotel is located in a fairly quiet place. The TV in the room works well in broadcast mode from the phone, you can watch movies without trying to look for some adequate TV channels, which are almost not there..
