A very nice hotel 16+. We had a vacation with friends in November 2024, snatched cool weather for the whole week.. The sea, the sun - what else do you need for happiness? Delicious cocktails, a varied menu, a pleasant sauna in the hotel. I chose this hotel because of the price-quality ratio and precisely the location - we did not lose. There are many supermarkets in the area, the historical center is not far away, even we walked to Novamall.. Well, the cherry on the cake - at an early check-out, the receptionist herself said the day before that they would prepare a lunch box. What I promised - I wrote a review and give the highest rating. Yes, we were out of season, yes, there weren't many people... But that's exactly what I planned myself - I always celebrate my birthday on a trip!

Everything is fine, I liked the hotel!
There is a kettle in the room, tea and coffee. The bar also serves all kinds of drinks made from local alcohol and tea and coffee too.
The food is good at the hotel, everyone eats with a bang!
There is a girl at the reception who speaks excellent Russian.
Live music only on Saturday nights.
The hotel does not have enough music at dinner or at lunch in general when you eat. The hotel was packed in October, but the staff quickly cleans up and there are enough tables for everyone, there are no queues for food, as happens in huge hotels.
To the beach 20 minutes on foot, everything is nearby) there is a dolmush (bus) to the beach it is always full of people.
Of the minuses, the sand on the beach could have been sifted, this is done very easily and the beach would have become even better.
There is no alcohol on the beach! That's a good thing.
It is always very convenient to take water near the bar!

Nice cozy city hotel! We are coming for the second time, if we have the opportunity, we will definitely come again. Yes, the beach is not very close, but at the same time the shuttle runs several times a day, and if desired, you can walk in 20 minutes. Food may not be in a large assortment, but everything that is present is very tasty and very satisfying. There are always two types of meat, fish, side dishes, salads and very tasty pastries. Vegetables and seasonal fruits are also mandatory. The location of the hotel in the city center means that walking to the sights and shops does not cause any inconvenience. If you need to go to the neighboring Manavgat, Dolmusha bus stop is within walking distance. There is also a McDonald's and everyone's favorite Waikiki near the hotel. If you need groceries for a snack, then there is a Migros and a 101 store nearby. The atmosphere is pleasant, there are very soft sofas and armchairs on the veranda. The staff is very polite and correct. And yes, the 16+ concept is suitable for a leisurely vacation.

We had a rest from October 11 to 20, only delight!!! There were some minor problems when settling in, but everything was quickly resolved, compensated, Alina is just great!!! The room stock is modern, high-quality cleaning, food at a solid five, the staff is friendly, during this time we became friends, even accompanied us in a family way, with kind words, wishes and friendly hugs!!! I want to come back here, thank you!!! It was important for me that the hotel is located in the historical part of Side, it is worth a lot, that you feel like you are in those epoch x, you will visit once and you are drawn here, the sea is clean, the ancient city, clean old streets, fascinating coves are all for relaxation!!! We vacationed in October as a couple. A good hotel, fairly new, new furniture in the rooms, everything works. Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar. Shower gel, shampoo, soap are replenished regularly. The food is varied, the service is good, the staff is friendly. It's a 20-minute walk to the sea, there's a bus, I didn't like the schedule, so we walked. Overall, the impression is good.

This hotel has only one disadvantage - it is the distance from the sea. The bus runs infrequently. It is a 20-minute walk away.
The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms were obviously designed by designers, so everything is stylish.
It is designed for 200 people. The hotel is 16+, but in fact much more+) A lot of people are from Germany, as in the whole Side, so the German language prevails in the city.
The big advantage of the hotel is its location in the city center, which makes it possible to take evening and morning walks and visit shops within walking distance. There is a city beach with many cafes and a beautiful view of the sea.
The food is without frills, but the food is delicious. It was nice that there were no people around who were picking up so much food that it fell off the plates. Everything was cultured and intelligent.
Our room was offered cleaning every day. The staff was polite and pleasant.

A gorgeous hotel. At the time of June 2024, tourists from Poland and Germany prevailed. There are few Russians. The hotel has its own beach. The beach is great! The sea is wonderful! The purest water, sand. No rocks or algae on the beach or in the water at a distance of hundreds of meters from the shore! Free sun beds and umbrellas! But there is a problem: the beach is about 2-3 kilometers from the hotel. A free Dolmush (bus) goes there 2 times a day. As a rule, it is packed full. If you do not use the bus, then walk under the scorching heat: first along the highway, and then completely through a deserted dusty road of 800 meters. mopeds will periodically rush past, raising dust in a column. Why not make a road? Unclear. But this is probably the only disadvantage. The food in the hotel itself is excellent. Free beer, wine, etc. Buffet. Lots of greens, vegetables. Delicious cakes. There are French fries, sausage of all kinds, cheese, in general, everything you need!) The room is spacious and quiet. The road is nearby, but it is inaudible. Within walking distance of all the delights of the old ancient city, Greek ruins and a very nice town reminiscent of Italy: narrow streets. It is very interesting to walk there both day and night.

I really liked this hotel:
- the most aesthetically pleasing new in its price range
- quite a variety of meals, and there are 5 of them (there are also tacos, shawarma, burgers, etc.)
- friendly and pleasant staff
- located next to the shopping center
- near the old town and the beautiful promenade
, this resort has the most German and Polish speakers (it was also a plus for us), they took us to the beach 4 or 5 times in my opinion, they clean every other day, live music plays on Saturdays.
We were satisfied with everything, we will come again!

It is located in the center of Side, it is difficult to walk to the sea in the heat for 30 minutes, there is a time transfer. The hotel itself is well renovated, but the cleaning is poorly monitored. They moved into a room where there was no cleaning at all from the word, she asked me to persistently clean, the cleaner came with me and started vacuuming, I did not bother her and left, coming 2 hours later, the room was still not cleaned! Only the plumbing was wiped (in the refrigerator, as the products from the old tenants were lying, they wanted to throw everything away, the floors were not washed and not with propolis, or, during the week of stay, they never did cleaning, although they left a sign. There are few sun beds by the pool, if you don't have time, then you lie on the grass) the show program is live music 1 time a week. The food is also not very good, everything is the same, and even if there was a chicken, apparently the tenants ate it quickly) but there were always fruits. If you are planning a vacation by the sea, then you can spend the night and have something to eat.

I would like to leave as unbiased a review as possible, and frankly, I can't put my hand above three stars. Mostly due to the lack of sound insulation in the rooms of the second building (our room 2307).
It took a very long time to choose a hotel. The requirements were as follows: all-inclusive meals (with current prices in shops and cafes in Turkey, there is no point in eating outside the hotel), a fresh hotel with normal repairs, no animation, and of course the budget. I must say right away that the ticket eventually cost a quarter more than what I expected, but the choice fell on the Side Square Hotel precisely because, in general, it suited all points, and I no longer had the strength to look for something suitable for the third week in a row. All that was cheaper was roulette - you won't be lucky. By the way, as I understand it, this is a common story for a Turkish holiday. Because I went there for the second time, and it was very difficult to choose a more or less decent hotel with less than 5 stars again.
So, the specifics:
The condition of the hotel is new, but there are traces of exploitation almost everywhere. Apparently, the quality of finishing works and materials affects. The design of all areas in the hotel is pleasant and interesting.
Room - I must say right away, we lived in the second building, room 2307. It is considered a standard, but differs from the standards in the first building indicated in the photo by tour operators. By the way, there were standard rooms in the same building with a much larger area.
Among the disadvantages, a small area, a shared balcony, windows to windows with neighbors, the presence of mold and fungi on the grout between the tiles in the bathroom, a broken shower head, a complete lack of sound insulation. You will hear your neighbor snoring, talking or watching TV behind the wall. We were lucky, and our demands to the neighbors, transmitted through the reception and the representative of Anex, were heard, and people were forced, though not immediately, to stop watching TV and began to talk much quieter. We behaved accordingly in the same way, so as not to disturb anyone. Another disadvantage will be a refrigerator powered by a common network. That is, they took out the card and left, the refrigerator turned off. The air conditioner is there and it worked, but it had traces of dust and dirt inside, so we did not use it. There is no ventilation in the room itself. At least I didn't find ventilation ducts on the walls either in the bathroom or in the toilet. Cleaning for three. Infrequent and superficial. The linen has not been changed once in 11 days. The towels were changed once, a week before the end of the holiday.
Among the advantages: a good design, a comfortable mattress, fresh furniture, plumbing (except for the shower head), a sufficient amount of household chemicals. That's about it.
Nutrition: Nutrition is generally good. There were a lot of fruits - pears (very tasty), plums, oranges, bananas, grapes, melon a couple of times in 11 days. Lots of cheeses, greens, sauces. Everything else is generally standard as in most hotels in Turkey, while of good quality. Meat was given every day, fish 2 times during the entire period (they fried a very tasty dorado). The big disadvantage was the lack of porridge at breakfast. Beef tongue is one of the most delicious meat dishes. He was beautiful. Unfortunately, almost all the chicken dishes were very tough, apparently the chicken itself was over-frozen.
Of the disadvantages, the following can be noted: For example, scrambled eggs or scramble, which I prefer to eat for breakfast, started cooking a little later than the actual start of breakfast and not in advance, and had to wait. On average, these positions were prepared by 7:50-8:00. Tableware. The reviews say that it is dirty, but these are just traces of exploitation, since the dishes are made of such a material that is very much overwritten. Another disadvantage was the deep-fried oil. It was obviously changed very rarely, and by the middle of the rest, my stomach was already twisting because of it. But if you do not eat fries, onion rings or meat patties for an afternoon meal, which are cooked in it, this problem will bypass you. Alcohol - the beer is delicious but almost alcohol-free, the rest is local alcohol, which I prefer to stay away from.
Service - settled without problems. We arrived at 7 a.m., at 9:30 a.m. we were already in the room. There are no complaints about the staff. A big plus is the Russian-speaking administrator Alina. Thank her very much.
The beach is immediately understandable, it is a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel. There is a shuttle service (Dalmus), but most often it is packed, and it is not very convenient in time (especially back), so in 70% of cases we walked. The sun beds are cool, but there are quite a few damaged ones. There are fewer sun beds than the total number of hotel guests. It happened that not everyone present had enough. Umbrellas made of natural materials are also cool and look photogenic. The beach bar is rather a useless function - well, if only you take some water from the refrigerator. The sand is dirty - there are cigarette butts and algae. Negative emotions remained from the employee of the bar on the beach: she offered a drink that she prepared from what she took in the morning at breakfast at the hotel (mint, lemon), and once, in a very brazen manner, turned on the whole beach from the translator what she wanted to tell us when we asked for such a drink for the second time in a week day: "They say it is not included in the concept, and she makes it of her own free will, and it is paid." We clarified at the hotel reception, of course this is not the case, but there was no desire to use the services of the beach bar anymore. It became clear that in this way she just wanted a tip. The entrance to the water is very long - you will walk 100 meters to the beginning of the depth. I don't like that. It may be good for someone.
The location is very good, which in general was also a decisive factor. The center of Side, the old town is a 10-minute walk away, to the New Mall where there are normal branded stores, not Chinese consumer goods, 5 minutes by minibus, to the center of Manavgat 15. The bus stop is nearby. Nearby there are grocery stores Migros and A-101, currency exchange.
In the hotel itself, visitors in 70% of cases are European pensioners (Germans, Poles, Balts), 30percent are Russians. We had a rest in October.
P.S. In general, about the assessment. Since the bar for 4* hotels is quite high for me (and the standard for me is one rather modest 4* Cypriot hotel in Ayai Napa), then according to this standard, the Side Square Hotel is of course 3*. But compared to our previous 4* hotel in Turkey, which, by the way, has already been downgraded to 3 this year, then Side Square is certainly a confident Turkish four.

A pretty good city hotel. Relatively new. We lived in the second building number 2307. We checked in immediately upon arrival, without any delays. The room is small (obviously 28 sq.m. as stated in the paid standard, but clean, new, quite cozy). And we didn't expect to hold receptions there. The appliances are all new, the air conditioner is quiet. Even being on the beach for a couple of hours, with the air conditioner turned off, when you enter the room, you feel cool. The refrigerator works well, and what else do you need on vacation. The food is normal. For a foursome, you can even say 5. The staff is beyond praise! None of them sit around during meals. Everything is moving - cleaning, preparing tables for new guests, offering drinks. There are many foreigners, but no one singles them out, no one ignores the Russians, of whom there were also enough. Now about the disadvantages: the hotel's pool is small and shallow - 140 cm. The beach is a bit far, and walking there in the heat = 38-40 degrees is unrealistic. Transportation to the beach is strictly on time 4 times to the beach, four times back. It's not very convenient. The beach bar is without food, only soft drinks. But there is enough space for everyone. In general, the hotel corresponds to the stated four!

The only plus is the location of the hotel in the center of Side, the rest is one big minus. We took a tour from Anex, the standard room. Upon check-in, they were immediately taken to economy, thanks to previous reviews, they were ready for this, immediately raised a fuss, moved to the standard, the worst in the hotel. The food is not the worst, but it is far from good, the beach is small, there were not always enough places under umbrellas, Periodically we stayed at night, but during the day we were at the hotel and on the beach. One day, when they came to the room, they found the belongings of the new guests, but ours were not in the room. We went to the reception to find out what was the matter and where the things were, it turned out that when we saw that we were not spending the night, we were simply evicted, and the things were taken to the pantry, despite the fact that we had paid for the room for the entire stay, and the hotel decided to resell the room. Of course, after all the proceedings, they were given an economy room, they did not start a scandal, since they were already leaving. It was an unpleasant aftertaste, the relocation was too neglectful. I will be glad if my feedback helps me choose a tour, as the reviews I read before the trip helped me. Yes, we had overbooking. Hello to Anex! Judging by the reviews, this bunch lives with overbooking all the time and does nothing to improve the situation. In all hotels.
But back to Side Square. We were greeted very cordially, apologized, put up for one night in another hotel, no worse than ours. In the morning they were taken back at the designated time. They were fed dinner before the forced move.
We were also treated at another hotel. We managed to swim in the pool in the morning.
We moved into Side Square quickly, to the right room. Nomeste.
Come, you won't regret it.The standard measures. Clean, beautiful, cozy. A bottle of wine and fruit were already waiting there. There was also a 50% discount on all spa treatments and free massages.
All bathroom supplies were replenished on time, cleaned too.
The room is quiet, facing the street, but the street is quiet, on the second floor, in the second building.

The pool is warm and clean. There are a lot of sun beds, but it is better to take them in the morning. In the afternoon at the sea.

You can sit and lie by the pool, in the gazebo in the bushes between the buildings and at the ruins at the main entrance.
Meal times change each other: breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack, tea, dinner, evening soup. And everything is very tasty.
Beach towels are provided at the spa for free.
The hotel's beach was not particularly used. We went to the paid one, next to the beach of the Tui hotel. If you look at the sea, then to the right of Tui. This is the best beach in Side. Clean, cozy, inexpensive. The owner is a golden man. Very kind. Helps.
The hotel has a concert program. A local cover band performed. The day before, a beautiful oriental dancer. There is a nice selection of tracks in the bar every evening. Different.

There are a lot of delicious pastries for lunch and dinner. Everyone smokes everywhere, at the table in the dining room too. There is a bus packed to the beach, there are not many flights, you have to adjust to the schedule since the beach is far away. In general, not a bad hotel, corresponds to 4 *.

Good morning! There is a twofold feeling left from this hotel. We arrived late in the evening, kudryash met us at the reception (my friend and I called him that), sent us straight to the dining room (this is a real dining room) to eat nothing but cold soup, not even bread. We ate, got up, sent to check in, there was a slight horror, one bed for two, the room is small, the floor is cold, the tank did not work(later in the afternoon they did), they turned to this curly-haired man and said Zarina would come tomorrow (they say he does not understand Russian). The next day, they turned to Zarina, she said no numbers, tomorrow, they came to their dark room, and there were red ants, a nightmare. I do not recommend moving into this building. Zarina did well, as promised, she settled into a nice room and had two beds. The food is scarce here. It's a long way from the sea. The bus doesn't run often. We were delighted with the tour, thanks Diana. I know one thing that I will not recommend this hotel to my friends. There are fours that are much better. Waiters, bartenders and room service are excellent. It was dirty on the beach, and after the remark they began to clean up.

The rooms are basically normal, of course, the cleaning is so-so for a C grade, so the floors will be slightly wiped, the garbage will be taken away and that's it. The food will go, they did not stay hungry, there was not enough meat, mainly chicken, a couple of times there was fish. There was beef once and that was a roast in padobia. French fries were constantly in the morning, fried eggs, boiled omelets, pancakes, croissants, salads, not many joints either. When we were vacationing in osnom there were foreigners, Russians 30-35% of the animation is not quiet. On Saturday, there was live music once during the time we rested (8 days)a minibus from the hotel goes to the beach 5 times a day, packed if not everyone gets in, then makes a second flight to the beach for 5 minutes on foot, because the heat did not go. The beach is good, the sea is clean, the sand is uniform, there is a bar on the beach tea coffee juices. The staff doesn't know much Russian, it's going to be a little difficult. Not far from the hotel there are ancient ruins, 10 minutes on foot it is worth going to the shops stalls with all sorts of stuff Waikiki opposite the poppy, burger King.

The hotel is located in the heart of Side. All shops, cafes, exchangers, banks, pharmacies, etc. Everything is nearby across the street. Excellent Turkish cuisine. Shuttle to the beach. On foot to the beach or the Old Town or the Amphitheater 20-30 minutes in a picturesque area. Very friendly hotel owner and staff. Nice Spa and swimming pool. We rested twice in 2021 and 2022. the hotel should either increase their number or size. + adjust the time. the last one from the hotel will take you to the beach at 2 o'clock. that is, if you want to go to the sea in the evening - only with your own step. but it's not a long walk in general, especially if it's late in the evening, when it's not so hot and not along the road, but along the hotels in the shade. only the approach to the beach is a dusty road, where cars and buses are constantly, it is not very comfortable to walk.
in general, these are all disadvantages. otherwise, there was nothing negative: the food was good, not very varied, but not meager either; the staff was all friendly and always happy to help; the beach was great; the location is also great.
the rest in this hotel was not spoiled in any way, except that this situation with the absence of a room created an unpleasant impression. so you can always contact your tour operator to resolve the issue or insist that you paid for your room, rather than agree to the beautiful speeches of the administrator and believe in the "absence of rooms".

Everything is fine, as in classic hotels in Turkey, the hotel is a solid four. A huge plus is the absence of children, which means no running, screaming and crying. There is no animation at all, rest is ideal for older people. Once a week, a band comes and sings various covers of popular songs. The food is not bad, even tasty and varied. Alcoholic cocktails: 4 types are free, the rest are like pina colada or margarita 7 € (which I think is a rather overpriced price). The beer is weak, the wine is not very tasty, but in principle it is the same with local alcohol everywhere. The rooms are clean and beautiful, everything worked and was cleaned regularly, but for some reason in the last 3 days they stopped leaving a towel for their feet. The location of the hotel can be said to be quite good, in the very center of Side. Opposite is a market with clothes and souvenirs, McDonald's (prices wow, double cheeseburger - about $ 7) and Waikiki (prices below average). The nearest paid beach is 1 km away on foot through cafes and local shops, and Antique Side is 2 km away. The hotel beach is 1.9 km away, I would not risk walking in the sun, but in the morning or evening it is quite pleasant to walk, it took us about 20 minutes at a calm pace. For people like us who had no idea where our beach could even be, I leave the coordinates and the name of the beach in the photo. There is a minibus to the beach and back, I also attach the schedule. It fits 30-35 people, which is of course cramped, but you can tolerate a 5-minute drive. If there were too many people, the bus made 2 trips. There is no bar, Wi-Fi, toilet and shower on the beach (we went to wash off the salt in the neighboring shower, no one appeared). The sea is beautiful, in early June the water temperature was already about 24 degrees, it is very pleasantly refreshing in the heat, the beach itself is made of fine sand, the coast is quite flat. There were enough sun beds for everyone, but we were at the beginning of the season, how it would be in the midst of it - I don't even know😂 There are catastrophically few sun beds on the pool and lawn in the hotel itself, so if you go to the sea in the morning, don't even hope to lie by the pool after lunch - they take everything in the morning, from 8 o'clock:00. In general, the staff is friendly, there was even one Russian-speaking girl at the reception. But naturally, the "special" attitude towards Germans and Poles is very felt and noticed, apparently it is so accepted in Side😅 But we didn't care, even though there was one unpleasant situation in which the staff of course sided with a German woman, with whom we (and we are from Belarus) had a little quarrel. The rest went great, the hotel really looks very aesthetically pleasing and European, but next time I will choose more youth and "Russian-loving" regions of Turkey.

The hotel has two buildings, initially we were accommodated in a new one, with one bed, it was not convenient for us, and the next day, we changed the room, without any problems at all and any additional charges. Every day they put water in the room, plain and carbonated. They add toiletries. There is also a kettle, coffee, tea in the room, which is also replenished. The beach, a shuttle runs to it, according to the schedule, this is important! 20-25 minutes on foot.there are beach towels, but $ 1/day, week $ 5. There is a paid bar on the beach. Sun beds, mattresses, umbrellas, free of charge. As for the food, I don't know who missed it, but it was all meat and fish, and all sorts of sweets. Some comrades said that you would come a little later than the start of lunch and there was nothing, nonsense. We came at the beginning and at the end, everything was enough. Boys and girls in the dining room do not understand Russian well, but they try very hard, well done. Our vacation was a success, thanks to all the staff!

It is at the moment that we are a couple of 60+ in this cozy, clean, calm and friendly hotel. I want to say that there are no animations, children, banging music and bars after 23 = 00. There is no such thing, except for a cozy bar, and until 23.))Which is a definite plus for us. Young people are definitely not here. 90% are retired Germans, 10% are a little bit of everyone. Russians are 10-15 people.
The rooms are clean and modern. Wi-Fi is free. In-room safe for a fee:2 euros per day. The reception is cozy. We checked in where it was requested: with a view not of McDonald's (it is wall to wall next to it), not on the first and not on the last floor. There are two buildings. Both are new, modern, clean.
Restaurant. Rather, it is a modern dining room. Don't look for red fish and mold on the cheese. But everything else is fine. Helpful. Politely. Waiter MUSTAFA, thank you very much. The pro: manages everything!
Beach: 20 minutes at a regular pace. There is a transfer, but rarely. We still don't go:go. We love to walk! There is not a single soul on the beach after 16 hours)... Massage. A hammam. Ayu's masseuse does a great massage. I recommend it!!!

We are resting for the second year in a row. Positive: it's quiet, there are no children, the adult contingent is calm. Clean, modern rooms. But they can also settle in very tiny ones. We were lucky without the baksheesh :both times in the first building, both times a spacious room. On TV, Russian-language channels are available only in building number two.
Russian is practically not spoken at the reception. English, Turkish.
It's a decent walk to the sea. There is a hotel bus. But it's packed. We love to walk. The bus was not used. The beach is wide. The entrance is great. There is no food or water on the beach after 16 o'clock. Maybe the concept will change in the summer, but in the spring, in May, it was like that both times.
The hotel does not conduct animations. For 12 days, only a gorgeous Turkish night and a performance of a local band (live music) in the lobby of the hotel. There is everything nearby:shops, pharmacies. The picturesque ruins of the Antique are fascinating ....
The food is not for 5+.Don't look for mold on cheese, and don't look for lobsters either. Ordinary, delicious food with an abundance of fruits in season.

The hotel is new, clean and nice. Very stylish. All plumbing and furniture are in excellent condition. The hotel has a hammam that is free to visit, additional services are paid. There is a Pool Bar, where everything is also equipped for a comfortable stay.
The room is equipped with air conditioning, a TV (LCD), a refrigerator, a hairdryer, a spacious wardrobe, 2 beds and a balcony. Wi-Fi is free, it catches perfectly in the room.
Among the bath accessories were: shampoo, gel and shower cap, soap, cotton swabs, sewing kit, shoe sponge, disposable slippers.
The food is very varied, the menu changes every day, fish, chicken and beef. Side dishes are also varied. There are also a lot of fruits.
A bar with Turkish alcohol, mix different cocktails and pour beer.
The location of the hotel is great! It's 20 minutes to the sea slowly. But every day a minibus takes you to the beach and back.
There is everything nearby! The exchanger, shops and supermarkets such as migras and a-101. Nova Mola is 7 minutes away by bus, they stop wherever you say. The ancient city is also located nearby, it takes 7-10 minutes to walk to it (I recommend visiting the theater and museum, ticket 100 lira)

We have booked and paid for Standard Room / DBL for the period from 30.09.2023 to 09.10.2023
Upon arrival at the hotel on 30.09.2023 at 20.45, it turned out that Overbooking had occurred and there were no available rooms in the hotel. According to the Administrator of Zarina, the Side Square Hotel was supposed to provide us with an equivalent replacement for 2 days in a hotel of the same category and upon return, was ready to compensate for these costs by providing us with a superior Suite and a free massage until the end of our stay at the hotel. The group of tourists who were subject to this relocation was 15 people, all from Russia. Everyone was tired, the whole group agreed.
We were brought to the Akalia Resort Hotel & Spa, which has a rating on Booking of 4.3 out of 10 (Unsatisfactory) and does not correspond at all to the level of a 4* hotel either in terms of room stock or services provided (lack of hot water, elevator, dirt, etc.). In the morning we met with ANEX TOUR guide Ruslan Baki and became request relocation back to the Side Square Hotel. Ruslan pretended to be very surprised by our relocation and invited us to write claims. After receiving the claims, the hotel agreed to take us back. However, upon check-in, it turned out that there are no category numbers provided for by the voucher. The promises made by the administrator a day ago were not even remembered. The situation at the reception was very tense, the receptionist behaved very rudely, shouted and threw a pen against the wall.
Since we were very tired, we were forced to agree to an Economy room and sign a paper stating that we were ready to go on a free tour as compensation for a one-day relocation to Akalia Resort Hotel & Spa. Also, in words, we were promised to move us to the Standard room provided for by our contract and voucher within 2 days.
Over the next few days, we repeatedly observed a situation when newly arrived tourists from Russia were also told about the lack of rooms and offered to move to Akalia Resort Hotel & Spa. Someone agreed, there were those who refused and they were kept at the reception for several hours and then sent to other hotels.
It is obvious that the hotel administration implemented a similar deceptive check-in scheme at Akalia Resort Hotel (the hotels have one owner) and representatives of ANEX TOUR were aware of this scheme, because it happened every day.
After 5 days of staying in the Economy room, they still agreed to move us to a Standard room of a larger area, but, at the same time, they asked us to write a receipt that we have no complaints about the hotel. We refused to write such a receipt and wrote a claim with a request to reimburse the difference in cost for the past 5 nights. After reading our complaint, the receptionist said that the hotel management would not provide us with this nice room without a receipt and could only offer a small Standard in the neighboring building on the ground floor. We spent the last 3 days in the Standard room in the neighboring building, which was even smaller in area than the housekeeper. We also had a conversation with another ANEX TOUR hotel guide, Diana. When we described to her the essence of our claims, that it was unacceptable to treat hotel guests in this way and that we would inform the management of the ANEX TOUR head office about the current scheme of receiving Russian tourists, she replied "Yes, please inform." In addition to disrespectful attitude to guests, non-compliance with the terms of the contract at the Side Square Hotel there are many other problems:
1. Poor food quality. A lot of inedible food, while spoiled, moldy fruits and vegetables were served mixed with normal ones.The greens were poorly washed, there were caterpillars and sand in the lettuce leaves. Most of the dishes were with gravies, with a lot of spices to hide the smell and taste of spoiled foods. Edible fish for 9 days was 1 time. Sometimes, semi-finished meat products cooked on the grill were served, but these are cheap pressed nuggets. Many people were saved by going to eat at McDonald's, located next to the hotel. During our stay, one guest was poisoned. After several days of self-treatment, she had to seek the services of a doctor and go to the clinic.
2. Unsanitary conditions - the dishes in the restaurant were dirty, had traces of fat and food residues. This is possible when washing in the rinse mode in the dishwasher. I had to wipe the plates with napkins before putting anything in them.
3. Very often there were not enough places in the dining room and people ate standing up or on deck chairs near the pool.
4. A dirty little beach with only 40 sunbeds, which had to be occupied in time, the hotel does not have its own beach, but rents, which causes great inconvenience.
5. The minibus that takes you to and from the beach has always been crowded with a large number of people standing close together.
After such a "vacation", there is absolutely no desire to return to Turkey and ever deal with the ANEX TOUR company

And, allegedly, no one answers the calls. There were more skirmishes, swearing, calls to the hotline, and in the end the guide came, took a claim from us and promised that she would settle everything. The day of vacation was completely lost. As a result, we stayed at this hotel until September 30th. On the thirtieth we were told that we could return, but they didn't come after us and we went on foot with our suitcases. My friend and I were given a room with one bed, where there was a strong smell of sewage. No one has cleaned the room in four days. The food at the hotel is monotonous and tasteless, the same thing every day. Sometimes there were dirty tomatoes and rotten grapes. Plates with chips. There is no such service as an iron. I went in crumpled. A minibus goes to the beach, where vacationers are crammed. In general, four stars for such a hotel is sooo much.

This hotel does not populate tourists en masse!
We bought a tour to this hotel on October 18-24, 23. Upon arrival at the hotel, it turned out that there were no rooms booked and paid for either for us or for four other people who arrived at the same time with us. Everyone was invited to stay in another hotel for three days and return three days later. That is, this hotel confirms all booking requests, accepts payment, but is not going to fulfill its obligations. The manager at the reception talks rudely, with the message: "So what if you paid, we don't owe you anything. Go where we are sending you and be happy that you didn't stay on the street." According to the receiving manager of Anex tour (the tour operator from whom we bought the tour), we were lucky, the replacement hotel was good, and the main number of tourists were sent to a terrible "two". Thanks to the managers of Anex Tour and personally to the host manager Diana, we managed to change the original hotel, which we did not want to return to at all, and stay in the hotel that was being replaced for the entire period. We managed without moving.
As it turned out later, this hotel has an established principle of operation, confirm the reservation to everyone, and then - as it turns out. No one is trying to make your vacation pleasant, there is an undisguised desire to earn as much as possible at any cost.

All cups, plates, saucers have unwashed traces of tea/coffee, jam or something like that. And despite the fact that they are in plain sight, waiters and cooks walk around and do not look. The grill is not cleaned at all, it is covered in black carbon, which is immediately evident from the fried bread. It was white, it turned black from carbon deposits. More than once we watched people standing with plates, because there are no seats in the restaurant. Breakfast and lunch are opened late, when the crowd has already gathered in front of the restaurant, the result is a queue from the entrance for food. The restaurant is more like a dining room. It seems that the hotel does not actually accommodate the stated number of guests.There are paper disposable cups in the room, which you may forget to put when cleaning, if they are out. As a result, there is nothing to drink from. Boring. The beach is just something: a few sunbeds on a rented beach. Buses rarely run 2 times there and 2 times back, and from 10.00 . in other hotels he is constantly in charge. We arrived at 11.58, it turned out that the bus had already left. The beach is 2,200 meters away on foot (detected by the navigator), if on the road, and 3 km along the coast. with something, not from 500 to 1000, as indicated when selling the tour. And no one told me how to get there. They got lost and searched for themselves. Of course, the location is good-the city center. But there are many other hotels in this center!
