We were in Minsk in July 2024, we were unlucky with the weather, it was very rainy and cool, we decided to take a ride on the City Bus.
Positive:
- clean comfortable bus
- they talk about the sights, at least you have a general idea where it makes sense to go next and what to watch
- we were escaping from the weather on this bus :-)
Minuses:
- there are only a few flights a day! At 11.00, 13.30, 16.00 and 18.30. We set off at 13:30 from Kirova str., 1
- ONLY cash is accepted for payment
- the price is quite expensive 50 bel.rubles
My recommendations:
If you want to sit comfortably on the top floor of the bus, then take cash in advance and come 30 minutes in advance. before departure, take a queue and places
A good opportunity for a first acquaintance with the city. Convenient location near the train station. Tirelessly, quite comfortable. A 3-hour walking tour of the city costs exactly the same. And here you go and watch and listen. The information may be superficial, but that's enough to get you started. All the main attractions were shown. We recommend it!!
+ if this is your first time in Minsk, then this is the easiest way to see all the main attractions together. That's where the advantages end.
- they do not accept cards, only cash. They send everyone to an ATM, where they definitely do not take a commission, but they take it there. They don't issue checks. Of the 8 languages announced, there was a general tour in Russian through headphones. Headphones were also not given out. Instead of 1.40, the tour was an hour. When I asked why the tour was so short, they told me, well, if you want, sit inside the bus for the rest of the time on the bus. In general, for 50 rubles you get a boorish attitude and an hour of skiing.
