Good day! I don't usually write negative reviews, but in this case I decided to make an exception.
We stopped by the branch to rent skates for a young man, and I decided to sharpen my skates. The administrator Mukan held a sharpening session, and we went for a ride. However, on the ice, the legs began to part, especially the right one - it felt as if the skates had not been sharpened, but blunted.
When I contacted the master at Medeo, I learned that in your branch the skates were not only poorly sharpened, but also the right skate was damaged: a chip appeared, and the tooth was missing (as seen in the photo).
When we returned, we showed the skates and asked for a refund. The response of the employee who contacted the administrator was figuratively as follows: Yes, we have overstepped your mark, but you didn't notice it.
As a customer, I don't have to be an expert in sharpening skates to understand the mistakes your staff has made.
The administrator clearly saw his mistake, but decided to keep silent about it. After discussions, the money was returned, but they did not even apologize. Instead, they said,
"Here, take it. Goodbye."
The quality of the rolling skates also raises questions: most of them have poor sharpening, so be sure to check before use.
For sharpening, I advise you to contact Medeo: They're professionals, and the price is twice as low.
I hope the review will be a reason to improve the quality of services and customer service for other people. Well, we'll never come back to you again!
The guys quickly pick up equipment, friendly and responsive!
There is no deposit for rent, the prices are reasonable, there are various season tickets with which it is profitable to ride if you do not have equipment. The combo also includes a skipass, which pleased me!
Good service, but very old snowboarding equipment.
The company rented a full set of equipment for snowboarding (jacket, pants, boots, helmet, glasses, board). The clothes are generally in good quality, but already quite worn out. With shoes, things are even worse: I was offered 3 pairs of shoes in size 42 and all three pairs were worn out (one pair had a huge patch on the toe, which was already coming off, and the other two were already starting to tear in the same place on the toe). Since I wear glasses, I asked for bigger safety glasses to put on top of my own, but all that were available were covered with scratches so much that nothing could really be seen in them.
Yes, the other guys got better shoes, if for me, it's better to overpay a couple thousand a little and rent newer equipment elsewhere, so as not to spoil the impression of riding a board.
The rental is convenient, it opens early, closes late, no deposit is needed, everything is according to the IIN. The only disadvantage is the equipment, which is not the first year, and probably not the second or third. Please upgrade your equipment!
Excellent choice of equipment. There are discounts at chocolife. A good rental store.
Only there are disadvantages, the equipment is not monitored, it is not repaired. The pants are torn. The sliders on the PRO boards are dead, not to mention the regular boards. Only for this 4 stars.
We rented a bunch of things for hiking: foam pads, tents, sleeping bags. Everything is of normal quality, clean and well maintained to a reasonable degree for rent.
This rental point is very popular among my friends and acquaintances because of its convenient location. In general, the network is excellent. The tariffs are nowhere lower and the service is at the level of international companies.
We rented equipment. The skis and boots are worn out. There were no sticks available at all, I had to take them upstairs separately. Ski goggles are also too old and sweat immediately. I think it's the best thing for a budget option. Skiing with boots cost 3,000 tenge per day.
