A great skate park for kids, teens and adults. Take a skate, roller skates, a scooter, a bmx bike and go ahead. The skate park itself is located in a ring-shaped park in Yerevan, in the center, where there are many cafes, greenery, and trees. Nearby is the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator.

The top and only normal skate park in Yerevan, there is 1 more, but it is difficult to call it a skate park, since there are 4 rusty ramps and that's it. What can be said about this skate park, it's all third-party, it has 3 quarters, several ramps, various steps, descents, figures, lighting, a toilet and a bunch of advantages.

One of the favorite places in the city, resonates very much with the temple, next to the monument to Taras Shevchenko and the gazebos are gorgeous, where you can hide from the rain. It feels like you are at the junction of different eras. I usually take a hostel or a hotel near this park when I come to Yerevan.

For this money, for how much they built this park, it was possible to build an excellent professional skatepark.
For amateurs or beginners, maybe this is a good park, but from a professional point of view it's just a terrible skatepark, there are no copings, no age restrictions, which is very bad. Because this is an extreme park where athletes train, and not just a playground or an amusement park. Tricks are performed here that can harm children, and parents bring their children to the park, who are at risk and interfere with athletes, but parents do not understand and also scold athletes.
In August 22, a little girl fell into a coma, but no one raised this issue, so no one knows about it.
We need to include an age limit in this park!!!

The park is good, the playground is not bad for skiing, there is a drinking fountain next to the playground right away, the toilet is big and clean (!), a lot of children ride, but the skate rental is terrible, all the skateboards are broken, the guy at the rental sits absolutely indifferent, does not twist himself and does not allow scooters to twist either. It is impossible to ride, only to fall and crash on them (( The cost of 1000 AMD is 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, the park was built by people who do not ride and experienced riders were not asked, or maybe they are not here)
As a result, the park looks cool in the photo, but it is almost useless in practice:
The whole park is covered with paint with a texture like shagreen leather. As a result, the roll is several times less than on smooth concrete. The holder is hellish - no slides. And the most funny thing is that the copings too (!!!) they are covered with this paint, i.e. they do not slip at all. Yes, copings are not metal and not a pool-classic made of smooth concrete, it is paint on top of sealant and crumbling concrete. Sometimes, if you hammer for a long time, you can get to the pipe, but it is essentially below the level of the table and the wall, i.e. it is almost impossible to slide along it, except for dents and seams on it.

There is a wave, but such a period that it is not possible to pump it.
There is no manual boxing or small grind at all.

According to the project, the Skate Park deserves a 5-star rating. But I give 3 stars for the organization of the park. A specialized sports park, where adults and teenagers ride scooters and skateboards at high speeds, do dangerous tricks, some careless parents have turned into a playground for kids. Moreover, they are also aggressive towards athletes performing tricks. It happens that teenagers are yelling and grabbing, as if these athletes came to kindergarten, and not the other way around. Tragedy can happen at any moment. When a kid is killed by a skateboard that flew out from under the athlete's feet, to whom will the parents make claims? If the park management is reading, please prevent a tragedy and write the rules for visiting the stunt ramps of the skatepark in large large letters on the posters. And, perhaps, sometimes involve police officers to monitor compliance with rules and age restrictions.
