There are rentals around that rent out non-working ski equipment, and asphalt on the way down from the lift (I've never been able to jump off one without scratching the asphalt with a board). My request to add snow (of which there was a lot around and there was a shovel) was refused twice. Well, I think everyone knows about the poor lifts.
