A very nice, clean square in the city center. Where you can relax and take a walk with your family. I like everything very much, but there is also a minus. Plastic models of various attractions are not very clear to me. This is a good place to walk with children, so make more playgrounds for children. There is one playground, but you can't get there on a day off. All the children living nearby go for a walk here and so do we. There is not enough space catastrophically.
My favorite square with a very beautiful fountain and a good playground, there is a cafe, quite a lot of benches, beautiful illumination, I recommend visiting the city in the afternoon and late evening
A pleasant place in the city center with a fountain and numerous shops. There is a small disadvantage in my opinion - the designs of the world's attractions. Of course, they will be removed sometime, but for now we are looking at cheap plastic crafts. Without them, there will be a super park for children and adults. Special thanks for the arches - illuminated in the evening is very pleasant to the eye.
Located in the very center of the city, between Sovetskaya and Pushkin streets, the square is good in all respects: shady alleys, paved paths, lots of benches, interesting layouts on the theme of architecture and "wonders of the World".
Andrei Andreevich Gromyko, a former Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, and later Chairman of the Supreme Council, was born more than 100 years ago in one of the nearest districts of the Gomel region (at that time - Mogilev province). His bust is installed in the part of the square adjacent to Sovetskaya Street. The main alley contains 14 arches, illuminated at night.
This square is a natural and cultural oasis, a place not only for recreation, but also for a nice pastime: pensioners enjoy a good atmosphere, children frolic at the fountain, couples make out - young people, visitors are crazy - beauty and order are all around. Sometimes exhibitions and sales of handicrafts and children's music concerts are held on the territory. So, this is clearly not Mars, there is life here! Slightly paraphrasing Raisa Maksimovna, we can say: "Life is, it cannot be!"
A very pleasant place, especially in summer. My son likes the children's fountain very much. Every time we come to Gomel, we come here to relax. In the evening, there is a very beautiful backlight.
I love this place. The paths are always cleaned, there are a sufficient number of benches, there is a toilet nearby (paid), a Puppet theater nearby, a couple of places where you can relax and eat delicious food.
On the territory there is a fountain, models of famous historical sites, a playground, figurines made of m /f.
A great place for a quick and relaxing holiday with your family in the city center! Entering the square, you find yourself in the shade of huge green trees. The city noise remains somewhere in the distance. The centers of attraction in the park are: a fountain with lighting, a cafe located in the center where you can buy not only something for children)), a playground with a safe floor covering. There is a toilet in a separate building

On the one hand, the square is very comfortable and good, there is a lot of greenery, but not enough benches, besides, sometimes unpleasant people can bother.
A small cozy park in the center of Gomel. There are many paths for walking, benches for relaxing. In summer, there is a beautiful illuminated fountain, in which children love to frolic so much. There is also a summer cafe and a playground with stairs, slides and swings. I wish there were more such squares in every district of Gomel!
A beautiful park. We spent a lot of time there as students. A cozy, clean green corner in the center of Gomel, next to the puppet theater. It has a large number of benches for visitors to relax, a stage where children perform on various holidays, swings and horizontal bars, a beautiful fountain where children run in summer, cafes, interesting architectural forms (world attractions), a public toilet (clean and tidy). It's always nice to take a walk or just sit and relax.
Among the advantages: a lot of benches, a beautiful fountain, a small playground, a paid toilet is quite clean.
the main disadvantage is that in the very center of the square on the street around the cafe there are many tables where beer is often drunk by not quite adequate aggressive people.
The square itself is small next to a very busy road, on the other side of the square there are prosecutors, courts and other organizations, in a word, there is trouble with parking until 8-9 pm. to walk with the child. it is not very comfortable because hiking trails pass through the square, there are a lot of pedestrians and cyclists. There are also many figures of world attractions such as the Kremlin, Big Ben, etc. installed in the square. If in the evening with lighting it still did not go anywhere, then in the daytime the structures, to put it mildly, hurt the eye.
A very beautiful and landscaped park for walking.
There is something to admire: models of the world archetypes (the Kremlin, Big Ben, Ephel Tower, etc.).
A burger joint in the center of the square.
A nice playground with swings.
A fantan in which you can swim in the heat.
There are a lot of benches and beautiful paths.
On holidays and weekends, on dark evenings, the park has a very beautiful illumination.
In 2020, it was decorated with models of world attractions, such as the Colosseum, the Chinese Wall, the Kremlin, the Belarusian Library, etc. Fountains, playgrounds, sports cafes in the center. A small summit of alcoholics on one of the benches.
If you walk around the city, then you should start walking from the train station along the alley (in winter it is especially beautiful to glow with blue lights like a snowy sky), reach the circus and go to the end of the square (on the left there is a fork with a store), go through the military exhibition (there are military vehicles on the street), and go to the beginning of the park, where the bridge and went for a walk in the park to the very bottom, where the circle of lamps, where the Namo!!! The walk promises to be simple, pleasant and memorable!!! Don't forget to take a thermos with you!!!)))😘
A great place for walks and photos. There are many interesting photo zones. It is very beautiful in the evening, everything is decorated with lighting.
It's a good park, but the "famous sights of other cities" allegedly decorating the square - even if you stand, even if you fall... It would be better if they didn't exist. Some kind of collective farm. The fountain is only beautiful and has glowing arches. Otherwise, the square is beautiful.
The square itself is great! That's just the "scenery" is the worst thing I've seen! There is probably no more miserable job. And why hasn't it been removed yet? Apparently the author of the idea is still working in the local executive committee
It's nice to come after the reconstruction, there are a lot of children.
But there is one thing, these are the constructions of the sights. Some of them are completely out of place.
Everything is fine, but over the past few years there have been too many "cardboard" animations, soon there will be no place left for the square itself. And the rest is fine.
Oooh, those awful plywood (or whatever they're made of) "landmarks." Facepalm. Honestly. The bears in the center of the park have long been eaten by rot and insects, they can't sow a normal lawn for as long as I can remember. There is no entertainment for children there at all. Well, except in the summer to splash in the fountain. Well, rygalovka is right in the center of the square, och in the subject, as we know how and love
For people who do not know history, this is a German shooting range during the Second World War, so when dashing aunts in national costumes dance to the accordion and balalaika, sianov feels a little uneasy. Half-educated architects have slapped famous world structures in miniature. What a cap on the Cathedral is worth. Crows nest right above the fountain, where children frolic, and shit right on the recreation area. In the center there is a half-safe big mac or something like that, which closes the beautiful building of the Puppet Theater with its equally idiotic architecture. In general, the pioneer square is a real reflection of the ignorance and collective farm taste of the local authorities. In the 90s, glory.... that there was no money to disfigure this, in theory, an inviolable place. But now they have lived richly....
Just benches, and in the middle of some kind of bar with hot dogs... There is nothing interesting. No activities for people. There is a cool fountain for children and a nasty playground, which was built for whom it is unclear

A beautiful and cozy square. It's convenient to take a walk. A good network of paths, a lot of sculptures. There are installations of world landmarks in miniature. Nicely.
not quite a park, rather a large square, a lot of new figures, an interesting fountain. but it's noisy because of the heavy traffic on the nearby street. Soviet
