10/10. If you wish to enjoy traditional armenian cuisine, this is the place to go to in Stepanavan. Don't be fooled by the humble interior - this restaurant's dishes are worth travelling from afar. I've never tasted such delicious rezhan (ռեժան), armenian heavy cream, before. The meat and fish were also top-notch, very fresh and tasted amazing. I would specifically recommend ordering hashlama (խաշլամա) 👌
We stopped by by chance, but it turned out that this was our best lunch during our trip to Georgia and Armenia. The prices are slightly above average, but we have never regretted it. I especially want to mention the fried khinkali (1600d for 4 pcs), they were the most tender and juicy khinkali! The discovery was a beef liver kebab - the juiciest! Grilled trout (750d for 100g)- the skin is crispy, and the meat oozes juice. Special thanks - everything is moderately salty and peppery. The service is friendly, we felt the Caucasian hospitality only here!
The establishment is located in the city center, it is convenient to enter while walking around the city. Interesting design: you can sit in booths on the street, just on the street under the trees or go inside the room. Everything is decorated in a retro style. There were few people during the weekend visit.
We ordered pork loin kebab, khinkali, grilled trout, lemonade and cherry compote, a bread basket.
Shish kebab and trout are on the menu by weight per 100 grams. Entrecote, of course, is the most unprofitable dish: bone + a lot of fat around the edges and very little meat. But it's worth paying tribute: the meat is delicious cooked. Khinkali tastes good too, there was parsley inside of the greens. Unusual, but normal. The only negative is that a couple of pieces out of 6 were torn. The trout is beautiful, ours has pulled out 550 grams. It is served with lemon. I really liked it. The compote is good. Lemonade is ordinary, like dozens of others.
The total check turned out to be 9300 AMD, taking into account the automatic 10% for the service. The staff is pleasant to talk to. In general, everything was delicious, we can recommend it.
We were traveling from Gyumri with our family. We decided to stop and have lunch at this cafe so the reviews were all pretty good. To the restaurant, of course, he is like a star. The interior of a rustic house. There are some records hanging everywhere. We were alone in the cafe. The order was accepted by a young man. We waited for about 35 minutes. They don't know how to cook there from the word at all. As a result, they dug around and stayed hungry.....
It's a very nice place. The food is very tasty, it can be seen that everything is made from fresh products. I liked the staff, especially the owner of the establishment, they are responsive, sociable, it is clear that people are really glad to see you. The food is sooooo delicious and fresh, especially lula with cheese of course and khachapuri on Shapura, just delicious, very very tasty!!!
Pleasant music, not intrusive. Special thanks to the chef for the hodgepodge))
It's very tasty, you need to come here with an absolutely empty stomach to try EVERYTHING!!!
Lula with cheese, khachapuri on coals, liver on coals, you can't overeat from all this, you can burst)
Special respect to the owner , handsome ,😎, keeps an eye on everything .
Great place! All the dishes that we have tried are very tasty and made from the freshest products. The staff is friendly and friendly. The music is pleasant and unobtrusive.
I highly recommend the place to visit =)
Delicious, homemade food and service
The choice of music was surprising - when they approached the cafe, a Russian chanson was playing, part of the company did not even want to enter..but it seems to be an unpleasant accident.
Very low prices
